department head retirement ceremony employee representative season’s greetings

How are you?
The cold has set in, making me shiver as I walk out the door in the morning. Despite this, every morning feels new, and I feel strangely energized by the winter air. Suddenly, I look at the calendar and realize that there is less than one page left. I closed my eyes for about three minutes and reflected on the year that had passed, wondering how a year could have flown by in such a short period of time, but events flashed through my mind like a flashlight. After a short period of reminiscing, my mind became depressed and impatient. The year is now less than a month old, and the thought of all the things I still haven’t accomplished in retrospect makes me even more impatient.
On the other hand, as I felt this morning as the cold wind blew through me, there are some things in life that you never get used to, no matter how many times you go through them. One of them is parting, which always makes you realize the hole in your life, and that hole makes you realize how much you’ve missed.
Dear Deputy Director, on this winter day when the cold winds are blowing and our hearts are lonely, we are filled with regret, gratitude, and remorse as we think about the fact that you will soon be leaving us, as you have always been so gentle and kind to us. Looking back over the years, you have taught us so much and guided us with care and encouragement every step of the way.
The past year was particularly challenging for all of us, as we had to juggle personal goals and organizational performance, and we had to deal with unexpected and difficult complaints. Nevertheless, you were always there for us, which made us feel secure and happy. He prioritized quick complaint resolution and customer satisfaction, and praised and encouraged our efforts. This encouraged us to keep working harder.
The way he handled his work and his ability to be flexible set a great example for all of us. Of course, it’s important to have strong opinions, but he also taught us the importance of being flexible and adaptable to different situations. While he emphasized laws and regulations, he also had an attitude of understanding and considering people’s situations, so he was able to solve problems gently and effectively. I learned from him to try to think and respond from the customer’s point of view, which gave me a new appreciation for the meaning of work. He was a great moral support for us.
He was like a boss and a father figure who covered our mistakes, sometimes pretending not to know and sometimes pretending not to hear. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to him and all of us. I have heard that you may suffer from retirement syndrome for a while after retirement, but I have no doubt that you will make that time more energetic and meaningful. You always said, ‘Loneliness is what makes us human,’ and with your warm outlook on life, I think you will make your retirement life wonderful and enriching.
As the saying goes, ‘The end is a new beginning,’ and I believe that retirement is not an end but another beginning. As if to prove the saying that life starts at 60, I remember the other day when you completed a 10-kilometer marathon and were proud of yourself. This must mean that your youth is still a work in progress, and we all sincerely wish you all the best as you embark on your new path and achieve your dreams. The teachings and memories you have left us will always be a source of strength and guidance for us. Mr. Zhang, we thank and honor you from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you.

Mr. Lee’s retirement ceremony Season’s greetings from the employee representatives

How are you?
As I walk out the door in the morning, I feel the cold envelope my body and realize that winter is deepening. Suddenly, you look at the calendar and realize that there is less than one page left, reminding you that the end of the year is near, and you reflect on the time that has passed. I close my eyes for three minutes and reminisce about the past year, and the events of the past year flashed by like a flashlight. During this brief moment of reminiscence, my mind becomes cluttered, and impatience sets in as I remember all the things I haven’t accomplished yet.
There are some things in life that you never get used to, no matter how many times you experience them. The hot sun in the middle of summer, hot soup that scalds the roof of your mouth, and parting is one of them.
Now that I think of you leaving our side, I feel like a cold breeze is blowing through my heart, making me feel lonely. This parting is all the more painful and heartbreaking because your warm and friendly demeanor has been a great source of comfort and strength for me and all the staff. I even feel regret that I didn’t serve you well.
Looking back on the past year, it was a difficult time for all of us. We had to perform individually and organizationally, and we had to endure malicious complaints and other difficulties. However, it was thanks to you who always stood by us. He always emphasized prompt complaint resolution and customer satisfaction, encouraging our efforts along the way and keeping us confident and focused on our work.
He always emphasized the importance of having a combination of conviction and flexibility in our work, and always advised us to be able to adapt to the situation rather than being limited by laws and company regulations. This has helped me to learn to look at and approach problems in a flexible way, which has led to great change and growth in my work. He has been an irreplaceable moral support for me and all of us.
He was like a father figure who always pretended not to know or see our little mistakes and flaws. After his retirement, people around him talked about the emptiness and loneliness of retirement, but I believe that he will fill that time with positivity, as he always said, “Loneliness is what makes you human.
The end of life is a new beginning. As you live by the saying, “Life begins at 60,” we were all very impressed and impressed to see you complete a 10-kilometer marathon the other day. I hope you will continue to keep up your vigor and enthusiasm as you face a new beginning. We wish you all the best as you embark on another journey with a young mind and a bold step, and the time we spent with you will remain in our hearts for a long time.
Thank you so much for your service, and we wish you continued health and happiness in the future. Thank you.

Outgoing Club President Seasonal Greetings from the Club President

○○Hello, fellow club members!
When I was in high school, I had a volunteer point, and I started volunteering to fill it, and I had to complete about 40 hours of volunteer work by the time I graduated from high school. I gradually got used to volunteering, and it became an important part of my life. When I entered university, I naturally joined a volunteer club and experienced various activities, and in the process, I deeply realized the value and meaning of volunteering in my life.
The reason I started volunteering was simple. I started volunteering not because I was particularly warm-hearted or kinder than others, but because it made me feel good about myself. It made me feel proud and rewarded, even in the midst of hard and arduous activities. And I believe that the reasons for helping others are no different, because it means a lot not only to the other person, but also to ourselves.
The days are getting colder. As winter approaches, there will be more hands looking out for us, and at a time when we need to look out for each other and help each other even more, I plan to step down from my position as club president and focus more on volunteering as just another member. Although I’m stepping down, I’ll still be involved as always, and will be more willing to help out where needed.
Of course, I’ve been graciously asked to take on the role of Fellowship President again next year, which I’m very grateful and honored to do, but the past year as President has given me a lot to think about. As a leader, it’s been very rewarding to be able to plan and facilitate more volunteer activities, but I’ve found myself spending more time on administrative tasks and managing the organization’s big and small issues than on the volunteer work itself, and I’ve gotten a little farther away from the volunteer work that I originally set out to do. So I’m stepping down as president to get back to my roots.
This reminds me of last year when I went from member to president. I was elected with your support, and I took that responsibility very seriously, and I tried to do my best to honor each and every one of you, and to make the club better. Even though I didn’t do everything perfectly, I’ve never forgotten that with your help, the club has grown.
Most of all, this has been a valuable experience and time well spent for me. Every time we helped people in need together and saw their smiles, I felt that my efforts were not in vain. This whole experience has been very rewarding for me, and I believe that these memories will drive me to be more passionate in my future volunteer work.
I would be embarrassed to be here today if I had tried to take advantage of my position or use my authority while I was president, but I am proud to say that I sincerely tried to improve the future of the club, not to be anyone to the past presidents and members. Of course, I am well aware that there were some shortcomings in the results and some areas that need to be improved, and I ask for your generous forgiveness.
Dear ○○ Club, today marks the end of my role as president, but I will always remain an active member of ○○ Club. I will continue to pass on any advice and know-how I can to help the new president lead the organization, and I will work behind the scenes to help the organization develop further. The achievements that the organization has made so far are due to the hard work and passion of its members, and I hope that we can continue to move forward together.
For an organization to truly develop, it requires the active participation and sincere efforts of each individual. Thanks to your passion and dedication, the ○○ Club will continue to grow and develop, and we look forward to your continued interest and active participation. Once again, we are deeply grateful for your support and encouragement, and we will continue to walk the path of service together as always.
Thank you.

Example of a soccer club president’s retirement speech

Hello, members!
We’re already two months into the new year, and as January comes to an end and February begins, I’m reminded of the words I said at the beginning of the year.
“We will make more choices in the coming days than we have ever made before, and we may have more regrets and more self-pity! But no matter what the consequences of your choices are, if you don’t make them, they won’t happen, so whatever you do, make sure you do it!”
We’re now in the first two months of 2023. I invite you to take a moment to reflect on how much you’ve taken action and made things happen. Ask yourself this. We are always at a crossroads, and no one knows what the outcome of our choices will be, but one thing is clear: the outcome is ours to make, and your best choices and hard work will make our club grow.
Today, I would like to share one important piece of news with you. As I step down as president of this prestigious organization, I look back on the years that have passed and am filled with many memories and experiences. Along with the excitement I felt when I first assumed the presidency, every moment with all of you remains a cherished memory. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you.
We came together every week for the purpose of fellowship and camaraderie, and while improving our soccer skills was important, it was the time we shared together, the memories we laughed and sweated over, that really mattered. We grew up relying on each other and matured along the way, and our soccer skills grew naturally. The energy we felt running around the field together every Sunday was a great reward and happiness for me. Those moments of playing together, with everyone giving their best to their roles, made our club stronger and more cohesive.
Of course, some of you may not have been able to attend club activities as often as you would have liked, but we know that you are always with us in spirit. At times, some of you may have felt pressured to participate more, but I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your understanding and respect for each other’s circumstances and situations.
In the past year, the various athletic competitions and soccer friendlies we have played have made our friendship deeper and stronger. In those days, we have learned what true camaraderie and teamwork are, not just about winning, and that is why 2022 feels so short. Winning and losing in soccer is important, but I believe that our club shares more than that. I hope that we can become a true ○○ club that cares and cares for each other based on loyalty and friendship, not just a club that aims to win competitions.
Although I am stepping down as president today, my responsibility and love as the founder of this club will continue until the end. I will continue to be there as one of the strongest members and supportive of the juniors so that the newly elected executive team can lead the club well. I believe that all the members will support the new executive team so that their passion and hard work can shine.
Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the members who have trusted and followed me throughout our time together. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and the growth of the club, and I will always be by your side. Thank you for your warm welcome and support.
Thank you.

Season’s greetings from the employee representative at the retirement ceremony

Dear colleagues in Department ○○! How are you doing?
It’s November, and the chilly weather reminds us of the coming winter. As the year draws to a close, it’s with great emotion that I send you this greeting. It’s time for me to bundle up and put on my winter clothes, but I’m also getting ready to leave. Throughout my public service career, I knew that one day I would have to say goodbye, but now that it’s here, even the weather seems to know my heart. On the other hand, this moment is made warmer by all of you who are wishing me goodbye.
Today, I am leaving this position as I reach retirement age. In the 30 years I have been on this path, I have come to realize one great truth: “Nothing is left for those who do not start.” The experience I’ve gained along the way, the failures, and even the occasional success, all came from starting. It hasn’t been easy for me either – it’s been a time of starting, challenging myself, and growing little by little, sometimes through trial and error. It’s because I didn’t give up halfway through and kept going that I’m here today, smiling with so many of you.
Now I’m leaving public service and starting another chapter of my life. I feel that the moment of leaving office is actually opening the door to new challenges. Of course, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared to start over, but I’m going to take a step into the unknown. With my experience in public service as a foundation, I’m sure the time ahead will be filled with rewarding challenges. I hope that if you find yourself on a new path one day, you’ll be able to overcome your fears and enjoy the challenge.
There’s a saying I’ve always liked. “I intended to stay in this world for a short time, but unexpectedly I stayed for a long time.” I didn’t expect to spend so many years here at first either. Just as the saying goes, ‘The skilled are not beaten by the lucky, and the lucky are not beaten by the long-lived,’ so maybe it’s because of the good fortune I’ve been given and the support I’ve had from all of you that I’ve been able to stay in this position for so long.
Throughout my time in public service, I have met so many people, gained so many experiences, and had so many epiphanies, big and small, along the way. I have come this far because of my colleagues who have worked with me, encouraged me, and sometimes silently guided me. We will part ways from time to time, but the time I’ve spent with you will always be close to my heart.
I have one final request that I would like to make. In my experience working with you, I’ve learned that everyone is remembered in three ways: as someone you want to see again, someone you don’t want to see again, and someone you’re done with. I would like to remain “the person you want to see again” in your memories after I leave office. I hope that I will remain a colleague that you will miss in your daily life, and I hope that you will always remain positive and humble in your future public life.
Although I am afraid to leave the familiar routine of public life, your sincere support and encouragement have given me the courage to embark on a new path. Now I am going to find new happiness in another challenge, and this time I have spent with you will remain a cherished memory.
Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support and care for me over the years. You have made my time in public service more meaningful and rewarding, and I sincerely hope that those of you who remain here will also find fulfillment and happiness in your respective positions.
Thank you.

Director’s Retirement Ceremony Employee Representative Season’s Greetings

Good morning, everyone.
It’s a fairly chilly morning on the second week of November, a season that now seems more aptly named winter than fall. The season that gave us the gift of crisp, beautiful weather, now seems to be trying to take it back. Before you know it, your hands will need mittens and your breath will be chilly. I hope everyone is staying well and avoiding colds.
I’d like to thank the Chief of Taxation, each of your team leaders, and all of your colleagues for joining us today to celebrate the Chief’s honorable retirement.
From the time you entered the public service 40 years ago to today, you have walked the path with a strong sense of mission, integrity, and discipline, and we are truly in awe of your dedication to the country and the organization. During your time with us, you have enlightened and guided us with your in-depth knowledge of taxation and deep understanding of people, and we would like to take this opportunity to bow down and thank you once again.
You have made great contributions to the tax field, especially in the field of tax investigations, with your leading research techniques and outstanding work drive. You are meticulous and thorough in your work, but you have always provided us with warm encouragement and courage, and you have literally been our senior and trusted mentor.
His footsteps have never been light, and he has taught us indescribable lessons and left us with a treasured legacy. Even after his departure, the void will be greatly felt, but I believe that the marks and footprints he left behind will remain in all of our hearts, like the North Star shining in the night sky, always showing us where to go.
He always taught us the important lesson of “people are the center”. I have learned a lot from the way he always put people first, even in the midst of his busy work, and reached out to colleagues in need. We will continue to keep his teachings in mind, and those of us who remain in the public service will continue to follow his example and create a warmer workplace.
Today’s honorable retirement is not just a retirement, but an opportunity and a turning point for you to begin a new life, a diverse and challenging second half of your life. I sincerely wish you a wide range of experiences and accomplishments in the wider world on your new journey.
Soon, we too will be standing here in this position, or even better, and we will strive to be the respected seniors that you are today, remembering the day you were. With a heavy heart and a hearty applause in your rearview mirror, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to you as you embark on your new path.
Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication.

Principal’s retirement ceremony Principal’s seasonal greetings

hello.
We are always fascinated by the words ‘new’ and ‘beginning’. Perhaps it’s the hope that a beginning brings and the anticipation of what it will bring, and that’s why I love this time of year – the beginning of a new year and the end of a year – the fall. It’s a time of year when we can celebrate the hard work and passion we’ve put in over the past year.
Today, however, I’m not as excited about this season as I should be, because we’re celebrating the retirement of our beloved leader and father figure, our principal. I still wish this day had never come. I feel a sense of emptiness and regret at the thought of losing someone who means so much to me and to us.
She wasn’t just a person in a position, she was a big senior in my life and a trusted advisor. I remember when I gave birth to my first child, I received a gift from my husband with a small note telling me to buy pretty clothes for her. I remember how I was so busy with my life that I didn’t have time to fully appreciate his thoughtfulness. Looking back now, I realize that the teacher’s heart that day was that of a father who cares for his juniors as if they were his own children.
Many people worry about the void after retirement and struggle with the changes after retirement, but I am confident that our principal would not. He was always a genuine and humble man, and wherever he went, he would be respected for his warm smile and dignified heart. He was always different, and he inspired us to be educators with virtue and wisdom.
You have always emphasized character and virtue to your junior teachers, and thanks to your teachings, we are slowly growing as teachers who can nurture wisdom and character in our students. Of course, we still have a long way to go, but we are encouraged by the fact that we have been learning and growing under your warm shadow.
You always reminded us that we can’t always stay in the same place, that life is about embracing change and growth, and moving steadily forward in the midst of it. So, although I am very sad at this moment, I will take this parting in stride, remembering your teachings, and move forward, believing that this will not be the last but a new beginning.
I look forward to seeing you often in the future. Dear Sir, I am deeply grateful for all that you have taught me, and I wish you always be healthy and happy.
Thank you very much.

Sincerely, Mr. Zhang Season’s Greetings

Hello everyone!
It’s December, and we’re standing on the threshold of a bittersweet farewell as fall ripens and winter creeps in. It’s that time of year again, and like an arrow in the air, time seems to fly by. It seems like just yesterday we were making plans for the new year, and now that it’s time to wrap up and get ready for the next year, we’re reminded of how fleeting it is.
Could it be because of that? The wind seems to be blowing colder these days, the weather is unusually chilly, and I’m feeling a mixture of regret that I haven’t done much and that time has flown by, and I’m wondering how to express my gratitude and respect for you. I feel like the time we spent with you was short, and I’m eager to learn more, but I can’t believe we have to say goodbye already.
Mr. ○○○ spent more than 40 years in the teaching profession and always remained dedicated to education, especially to novice teachers like me, and was always willing to lend a hand. I am a new teacher who has only been teaching for one year, and this school was my first assignment last year. I came in with high aspirations and enthusiasm, but the reality was not easy, and I was frustrated by how the children seemed to find me difficult or disrespectful as a newbie.
I had a difficult relationship with one student in particular, which led to corporal punishment, which was protested by the parents, and I fell into a pit of despair. It was Mr. ○○○ who warmly picked me up and put me back on my feet. She handed me a cup of hot tea and told me, “A teacher should be a person who has the power to change a student.”
I still remember what she said to me that day. She taught me that, just like the old fairy tale “Wind and Sunshine,” it is not reprimands that open children’s hearts, but warmth and love, and that the more sensitive students are, the more effort it takes to understand them. Thanks to you, I was able to make new resolutions, and I have grown as a teacher to this day.
I wasn’t the only one who benefited from her warm teaching. Every year, on Teacher’s Day, his office was filled with students from all over the country, and it was not just a simple greeting, but a sincere gesture of respect and affection that reminded me of the true nature of his teaching. Seeing the sincere love and patience he had for his students made me reflect on my own shortcomings.
She always kept her warm smile and love for her students, and she was always an example to us. Your character and dedication as a true educator were the light of this school and touched all of us deeply. Like a tree that doesn’t sway in the slightest breeze, you stood firmly in place and guided us, making this school warmer and more beautiful.
Although you are leaving us now, your teachings and footsteps will remain in our hearts for a long time to come. Based on your teachings, we will strive to become better teachers, and we will imitate your love and sincerity to create a better tomorrow with our students.
We will never forget your fragrant heart and teachings, and we will do our best to follow in your footsteps as a true educator. We are sad to say goodbye to you today, but we sincerely hope that you will always be in peace and good health.
We would like to thank you once again for your passion and dedication to education and wish you a future full of happiness and joy.

Principal’s Season’s Greetings on your departure

Hello everyone!
Time flies and we are already racing towards the end of another year. As the seasons change, I don’t realize how quickly time has flown by, and then I look at the calendar and realize that it’s already December. I know you’re all busy wrapping up the things you planned and started at the beginning of the year, and you’re scrambling to make sure the year ends well and the new one begins. As the weather gets colder, we’re already nostalgic for the warmth of spring, and the shortness of fall is starting to feel like a blur.
Today, as we stand here to celebrate your retirement, I am sure you are feeling especially grateful for the school you have been a part of. Your years as an educator seem like just yesterday, and it is hard to believe that it is time for you to leave. We are here today to bid farewell to a true educator who has dedicated his life to education.
I still can’t forget the day you were inaugurated as principal, and the words of your inaugural speech, in which you vowed to remain a teacher and to never lose your initial desire to teach students directly, left a deep impression on many of us, including me. Seeing you so passionately determined, I vowed to become a teacher who, like you, would never lose the initial desire to be an educator. You always demonstrated your commitment by your actions, and your example is a true lesson for us as educators.
You were always the first one to arrive at work to meet your students on their way to school, and you walked every corner of the classroom and school to make sure they were in a safe environment where they could focus on their studies. You were always attentive to the little things they didn’t see, and you always approached them like a father and sometimes like a friend, and your caring and warmth resonated throughout the school. I and many other teachers look to him as a reminder of what it means to be a teacher and to be an educator.
As the longest-serving teacher in the school, you have always maintained the philosophy that the essence of education is in the student, and your unwavering belief in the potential of your students, even through many changes and challenges, has been a source of great pride and inspiration to us younger teachers. I, as well as many other students and teachers who have worked with you, have learned the meaning of true education from you and have taken that to heart.
Mr. ○○○, it’s hard to believe that today is your retirement day, and it’s sad that you’re leaving this school, where you’ve been by our side every day. Your passion for education and love for your students will remain in this school and be a precious legacy for all of us. We will keep your teachings close to our hearts and strive to be true educators just as you were.
As there is always a parting when there is a meeting, we will not hold on to your lapel with regret today. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you, who will always remain in our hearts, and wish you peaceful and healthy days at home with your loved ones.
Teacher, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

6.25 Retirement Ceremony of the President of the Korean War Veterans Association Retirement Remarks of the President of the Korean War Veterans Association

It is said that blood is thicker than water.
This phrase, which is tied to the solidity of blood ties, also resonates with our comrades-in-arms.
We are not a family, but we have been together for more than half a century now, treating each other as brothers in arms.
Although the days of the cadets who stood on the battlefield with young blood are as clear as yesterday, time has turned us into old men.
Our young, green faces are now faded, and even our fierce memories seem to fade with age.
But, my friends, though our outward appearance has changed.
we have not forgotten the strong ties that bind us, ties so strong that they make us sad.
How can we forget that year?
The day our lives were torn apart.
How can I forget the moments when our body heat was our only comfort and salvation in a war zone where shells exploded and death was everywhere.
How can we forget the deaths of our comrades-in-arms that we carry on our shoulders, and the noble end of our young bodies that we oxidized.
The older we get, the more intense and vivid the memories of the past become.
Even after the war was over, the traces of the horrific battlefield remained in our lives, never to be erased.
For those of us who survived, there remains an honor and a heavy responsibility.
To live in memory of our comrades-in-arms who tried to sow peace on this earth,
that it is an eternal mission engraved in each of our hearts.
After the war, which seemed like death, I suffered from hearing loss and aftereffects for a long time.
My leg still bears the marks of bullet deflection.
That’s when I found you, and I found so much comfort and courage from you.
My time with you was not just a reminiscence of the past, it was what got me through today and gave me a reason to live tomorrow.
Our past lives were not always pretty.
but it was an unabashedly honest one under the sky.
We are proud to say that we lived a life that we would be proud to tell anyone about.
I want to thank you for standing with me and rising up again, even in the face of some of the issues that have plagued our times recently.
Today, I am leaving.
I am leaving because I am no longer able to disguise my physical and mental frailty, which makes it difficult for me to fulfill the weighty and undeserved duties of the Chairman of the Board.
But I hope that I will live on in your hearts and minds, as they say, Marines don’t die.
Just as we remember the names of every man and woman in our division,
as we remember the names of everyone in our division.
We are the living witnesses of history,
a history that will never be forgotten.
We will never forget you, the pillars of our country, who shed your blood for the freedom and peace of Korea.
These are the heroes who made Korea safe and prosperous today.
Today, I am stepping down as Chairman of the Allies, but I will take that pride with me until the day I die.
I ask you to be proud of your younger selves for their service to our country.
I know that our bond is thicker than blood and stronger than swords.
A bond that even death will not break,
I promise to remember you until the day I die.
Now I step down, but I ask you to remember the ○○ Division ○○○.
In closing, may peace always reign in your homes and may you be blessed with good health and well-being.
It is my sincere hope that the peace and freedom we have achieved in this land will be long lasting,
and may we always call each other by our first names.
Thank you.

Greetings from the CEO at his retirement ceremony

The year 2024 is just around the corner, and when I look at the calendar and see that it’s already November, I’m tempted to say that it’s unfair that time is moving so fast, and that it’s only fair that we at least know how fast it’s moving.
In fact, the speed of time is always constant, but it seems to us that this year has been especially fast. I think it’s because it’s been a busy year for everyone, and I’m sure there are some of you who feel the rush of time even more than me today. That would be Dr. ○○○, who is retiring today.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all my colleagues who have taken time out of their day to join us to celebrate his honorable retirement. I’d like to take this opportunity to reflect on your time with us and express our gratitude to you.
Over the years, you have been an inspiration to all of us with your knowledge and deep insight into the tax profession. You have guided our work with the wisdom of your many years of experience, and at times, you have been generous with your guidance, for which we will all be forever grateful.
In particular, in the field of tax investigations, you have always been one step ahead with your leading research techniques and exceptional work drive. Thanks to you, we have been able to solve various challenges, and I believe that we will continue to grow on the foundation you have laid. We are very proud of you for making a mark in the tax field.
You have always been a reliable example and a trustworthy mentor to us, and now that we have to let you go, we feel an empty hole in our hearts, like we are losing a giant.
I am saddened to think that I will no longer be able to see the warmth of his hands when he would take a hot pot of soup out of the refrigerator and hold it in my hand on a winter day when my hands were freezing in the office, and the kindness of his smile when he would smile at us when we were tired of working.
It is said that I don’t know the place, but I know the person. Even after his departure, the void will be felt greatly, and the traces and footprints he left behind will remain in our hearts for a long time. Like the North Star shining in the night sky, his teachings and warm support will remain the coordinates of our lives.
Today’s honorable retirement is not just a retirement, but the beginning of a new life, and we wish you all the best as you pursue your dreams and challenges in the wider world. With your experience and wisdom, we have no doubt that you will have a wonderful second half of your life.
Finally, once again, Dr. ○○○, thank you for all the hard work you have done and for being with us. We sincerely wish you good health and happiness in the future.
Thank you.

Outgoing President of the Literary Association Outgoing President of the Literary Association

Hello, everyone.
It would be enough for a writer to say goodbye in writing, but I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have made this day to remember the last of this scarce person. It is with a heavy responsibility and overwhelming emotion that I can say my last words as a writer in front of so many people.
Today is the last day for me, but it is not a pause, a break, or an end, but a new beginning for our organization. After my term, we will have a new president, and we will make another chapter in our history, and I look forward to watching you with joy and excitement as we pave the way.
Over the years, our association has sometimes been vilified, and we have sometimes been the target of the powers that be, but only because we have always been committed to a literature that speaks out to society and enters the arena of life, not an ivory tower. Our writing had a power and meaning that no one could ignore, and while it may have made some people uncomfortable at times, that was our role and our mission, and it was the path that our association and all the writers in it led because we wanted literature to touch the deepest parts of life, not just serve society.
As I look back on this moment today, I realize that we were tired, physically and mentally, and that a deep fatigue had set in. Our lives have been shabby, and the appearance of the Society has been dull. But now, as I stand before you in this hallowed place, I feel a sudden sense of exhilaration, perhaps because I am convinced that our steps and efforts have not been in vain.
But, my friends, our lives may have been dull, but our pens have grown sharper with each passing day, and the end goal has always been towards the times and society. Our writing has been a witness to the times, a force that has illuminated the dark side of society, a voice for the suffering, and a witness to the world. Our words have been directed to the darkest and most obscure corners, and have sometimes shone through them, communicating with the world. This is why we have lived in poverty and fatigue, but have never laid down our pens.
The days I have lived as the head of such an association will remain a source of honor and pride in my future life. It is often said that the present of an old man is the recollection of the past. They say that the beautiful past gives us pride and courage and gives us the strength to endure the dreary present, and I have that pride and courage thanks to all of you who have given me proud memories.
Thank you for your hot heart, your living heart. I treasure the years we have spent together on the literary path, and I hope that the passion of all of you will be my light for the rest of my life. In the words of Emile Zola, a writer who gave all of his talent to his time, “Youth, always be with justice,” will be my last words and wish. In the name of literature, in the name of truth and justice, always step forward boldly.
Now I bid you farewell and take my last steps in silence, but my heart will always be with you, wherever your steps take you.
Thank you.

Welfare Center Director’s Farewell Address

Hello everyone, it’s been eight years since I’ve been here. It’s been a precious time where I’ve cried, laughed, and grown with many of you over time, and it’s with mixed feelings that I’m leaving. I’ve gotten so much out of this place that it’s going to be hard to leave. When I first came to work, this place seemed so foreign to me, but as the days went by, I started to feel closer and closer to it. Greeting the residents when I arrived at work became the start of my daily routine, and I always felt very worried about them when I didn’t see them in the morning. Looking back on the eight years I’ve spent as a welfare center director, I realize that there have been challenges, but there have also been many rewarding experiences.
As the song says, “The future is unknown,” and I remember one day when I was asked to take charge of the ○○ Social Welfare Center. At first, I was unsure of myself, but I agreed to the request, but my mind was full of worries at the time. The environment at the welfare center didn’t look good, and I didn’t know where to start. At first, I was conflicted because I didn’t think I was ready, but I decided to take on the challenge with a strong sense of pride, thinking, “If I’ve started something, I’ll do it without regret.
First, I took a close look at the current situation of the welfare center and came up with a list of issues to focus on, such as expanding welfare projects to provide more welfare benefits to neighbors in need, renovating the aging welfare center facilities so that program lectures could run smoothly, and improving the treatment of employees. In particular, as the welfare center is a space closely connected to residents, I tried to listen to their opinions and reflect their voices in policy.
There is a saying that “the farthest distance in the world is the distance between your heart and your hands.” This refers to how difficult it is to put into practice what you think in your heart and head. Of course, it would not have been possible for me to make things happen one by one with my own efforts alone, but with the help of many sponsors and volunteers. I believe that they are the ones who put into practice what they think in their hearts and heads with their hands. As I leave, I would like to thank the first president who recommended me for the position of welfare director and the sponsors and volunteers who have always supported me. I will also hold a special place in my heart for the staff that I have worked with over the past eight years.
And most of all, I would like to thank my family, who have been my biggest supporters and have always been there for me at home. I would especially like to thank my beloved wife for her wise counsel at every turn, and my children for growing up and making their own way in the world without worrying too much about their parents. Thanks to my family, I’ve always been refreshed and inspired to get this far.
I don’t know how to thank you all for being here today. I wish you all love and happiness in your future, and I hope you will practice love for your neighbors and enjoy life to the fullest, and I will conclude my retirement speech.

Teacher’s retirement ceremony Student representative’s retirement speech

Good morning, everyone.
Today is the retirement ceremony for Mr. ○○○, who has been a strong supporter of our school for many years. It is my sincere honor to be here today in front of so many classmates and teachers to say goodbye to you as your representative.
A few days ago, I visited you and asked you how you felt about your retirement, and you said, “It’s cool and scary,” but now that I see you here, I think it’s more scary than cool in your heart. Of course, as a student, I also feel sad and regretful that I won’t be able to see you on campus every morning from now on, and I will miss the memories we had together at the school gate.
For three years, from the time I first entered ○○ Middle School, you always stood at the school gate to greet us early in the morning. Whether it was a bitterly cold winter day or a stifling summer morning, you were always there, waiting for us. It’s probably a memory that symbolizes the warmth of his heart and the carefulness of his teaching for all of us.
To be honest, I’ve been punished many times by Mr. Zhang for dress code or tardiness. It was uncomfortable at the time, but afterward, I realized that it was an expression of her love for us and her desire to keep us on the right path. I can feel that he wanted us to grow and stay on the right path, and I’m grateful for all of those memories now.
He didn’t just teach us knowledge; in between classes, he would tell us stories from his own life and talk to us about the world like a grandfather, sometimes sharing his dreams for the future, sometimes telling us how to overcome difficult moments. The stories and wisdom he shared with us will be a great help in the world we will live in in the future, and we will never forget the teachings and proverbs he taught us.
Thanks to your dedication and hard work, our three years were never in vain. We are deeply grateful to you for always thinking of different ways and finding better ways to help us all grow. Thanks to you, we have been able to move in the right direction, care for each other, and learn the value of living together.
Soon, I will graduate and leave this school, but the precious time I spent with you and my classmates will remain in my heart as beautiful memories that I will never forget. I will always strive to be the great person you raised us to be, and I will live by the values you taught us.
We will always strive to make you feel, “I was a great teacher and raised great students.” We promise to grow into students you can be proud of anytime, anywhere.
Although we are parting ways now, you will remain in our hearts forever. We are deeply grateful for all the hard work you have done for us and all the time you have spent teaching us, and on behalf of the entire student body, I would like to express our sincere gratitude.
Thank you, sir.

Mayor’s Farewell Address

Good evening, honored citizens, and public servants with whom I have worked.
Today, I take this opportunity to greet you as I conclude the honorable and weighty office of Mayor. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you, the citizens, for your faith in me, for your support, and for wishing me well on my final journey.
As I stand here, I am reminded of all the years that have passed. The many emotions I felt when I first stood in front of you as your mayor are still vividly relived. Your trust and support has allowed me to serve two terms as Mayor, and our shared hard work and passion has paid off, and our region has seen remarkable growth.
As mayor, I have faced many challenges and made difficult decisions, sometimes keeping me awake at night as I strive to meet your expectations. In particular, I have focused on strengthening our economic foundation by systematically building industrial infrastructure to realize the unlimited potential of our region. We have succeeded in diversifying our local industries by reducing our reliance on primary industries and attracting a large-scale industrial park, which, when completed, will further boost the local economy and make our city more competitive.
Of course, I couldn’t have accomplished this on my own; it was only possible thanks to the dedicated work of many public servants and the partnership of our citizens. At times, the challenges have been daunting, but because of you, our city has continued to move forward. These accomplishments are more than just economic growth; they are a springboard to a new future that we all dream of.
Now, although I am leaving the mayor’s office, there are still significant challenges ahead for our region. I look forward to working with our new mayor to build an even bigger and stronger vision for our city. I am confident that you will continue to work with me, and I will continue to be a citizen, cheering for our city, supporting it, and helping in any way I can.
My fellow citizens, our city is on the cusp of a new dream. It has long been my desire to see this city grow and realize its limitless possibilities as the blue ocean of the country, and I look forward to seeing our city unleash its potential and become a place of hope and vitality.
Serving as your Mayor for two terms will remain a cherished experience and an honor that will be remembered for the rest of my life. I also believe that what we have accomplished together will be an asset to our region and will be remembered for generations to come. Once again, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who have come together to help us achieve these accomplishments.
I conclude my remarks by wishing all of you good health and happiness in your homes. Thank you.

Retirement Ceremony Season’s Greetings from the CEO

Good evening, everyone.
Thank you for joining us today. As the year comes to a close, it’s with great emotion that I stand before you to mark my retirement. I’m sure you’ve all made your New Year’s resolutions. I made plans at the beginning of the year, too, and one of them was to give a heartfelt farewell speech at this retirement ceremony today. I spent the last 11 months reflecting on my professional life, jotting down precious memories of the past year on small notepads.
My one-year plan is complete today, but I’ve also made new plans for the next 10 and 20 years. I’ve been with the company for most of my life, and now I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life focusing a little more on myself.
Folks, I think people with goals and people without goals look at life differently, starting with the way they look at it: they see further, and they don’t get tired easily when things get tough. Like you, I’ve spent a lot of time here with hopes and goals. Today is an important day for me to reflect on the past decade and plan for the life ahead.
First of all, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who have made this possible for me. It seems like just yesterday that I was so excited to join the company, and now I’m bittersweet to be spending my last time with you. I made a lot of mistakes and trials and errors in my younger days, but those experiences helped me grow step by step. If I had to go back to those days again, I think I would have made the same choices. My time here has meant a lot to me and helped me grow.
When I joined the company, I was full of ambition and confidence, just like you, and sometimes I listened to the advice of my seniors out of complacency. But over time, I realized that the teachings of my seniors and the support of my colleagues are important guidelines for organizational life. So today, I stand here to tell you, the younger generation, to always listen to your seniors. I hope you will always listen to your seniors and use their advice as a compass to walk your own path.
On the other hand, I have also learned a lot from you, my juniors. Your enthusiasm and fresh ideas have been a great help to me in my professional life. What I have learned from working with the new generation has guided me to maintain a constant learning attitude within the organization and has enriched my life. The persistence and passion you have shown has inspired me a lot and added beautiful colors to my path.
Even though I am leaving this place now, all the time I have spent with you will remain dear to my heart. The memories of laughing and crying together will serve me well in the future. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my seniors, colleagues, and juniors for bringing me to this point.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and success in everything you set your minds to. Thank you.

Outgoing Hospital President

Hello, everyone.
I’m Dr. ○○, the director of ○○ Hospital.
It is with great emotion that I stand here today. It is still hard to believe that I am leaving this place where I have devoted my youth and passion. I have been here for the past ○○ years, treating each and every patient, watching the hospital grow, and experiencing countless experiences and rewards. Now, I will be leaving Chungden ○○ Medical Center on March ○, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have been with me all these years.
I remember when I was inaugurated as the first president of Chung Den ○○ Medical Center on March ○, last year. Although I still have ○ years left in my term, I thought that my last role would be to pave the way for the new president to take the lead in public healthcare policy with determination for a better future. As I step down from this position, I would like to convey my expectations and support for the next generation who will bring about new changes rather than regret.
When I was an intern at Seoul National University Hospital, a three-month secondment to ○○ Medical Center was a major turning point in my life, and it was then that I first connected with ○○ Medical Center, and later became the head of the ○○ Department, where I spent the most important ○○ years of my life. Looking back, I am filled with precious memories, as I have worked hard to develop with many colleagues despite difficulties. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has been with me.
During my tenure as president, I strived to dramatically develop ○○ Medical Center, doing everything in my power to make it the “favorite hospital of ○○ citizens and the first place they go to. In the beginning, I felt that we were lacking in many areas, including facilities, equipment, and manpower, but I decided that improving the old and aging facilities and equipment was the most urgent need. I did my best to secure various support and budgets for this, and I believe that today our hospital has become a trusted medical institution in the region.
We believed that in order for a hospital to be recognized as a top-notch medical institution in the ○○ region, it must be strong in at least one area, so we worked to build our own competitive medical fields and establish ourselves firmly in the region. As a result, our new building, which was completed in May last year, is recognized as a top-notch facility, and even during the swine flu pandemic, we were able to fulfill our public healthcare responsibilities by treating the most patients in the country.
The soon-to-be-completed Emergency Medical Center is designed with maximum patient convenience in mind, and will be the highest level emergency medical facility in the ○○ region. In addition, we have invited excellent medical staff to improve the quality of care, and our ophthalmology and orthopedics departments in particular have reached outstanding levels in the Incheon region. These achievements are the result of everyone working together, and I hope that the hospital will continue to develop further as a central medical institution in the community.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your generous interest and support for ○○ Medical Center and me over the years. Although I am unable to visit and greet all of you in person, I hope you will understand that I would like to express my gratitude through this letter.
We sincerely wish you all good health and happiness.
Thank you.

Yours sincerely, Mr. Outgoing

Oh, how I love springtime. Spring is the season of rebirth and renewal, and with the excitement of new beginnings, I am saying goodbye to you today. First, I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who have been a part of this tribal retirement. This moment is made all the more special by the presence of my fellow teachers, parents, and most of all, my lovely children.
As I stand here today, I am naturally reminded of the countless footprints I have left over the past nearly 40 years. The excitement of meeting children for the first time as a kindergarten teacher, the reward and responsibility I felt in the face of new learning and challenges every day, and the valuable lessons I learned from them – all of them are etched in my mind as one precious story.
Looking back, it is my firm belief that preschool education is a place of character education, where children’s first socialization takes place, that has driven me to where I am today. Preschool shouldn’t just be a place for learning, it should be a place where children meet the world and learn to live with it. I have always believed that learning how to get along with friends, how to make concessions and be considerate is more important than learning, and this belief has been a milestone that I have never wavered from as a teacher.
I want the rest of you to remember this as well. Early childhood is not just a time of learning; it’s a time when children learn to relate to the world and discover who they are, and it’s important that they laugh and have fun along the way, and naturally develop the ability to understand their own minds and the minds of others. Children have innocence and dreams that adults forget, so we ask our teachers to keep those dreams alive and believe in their potential.
Planting seeds of hope in the lives of children is our greatest mission as educators. There’s a saying that I’ve always taken to heart. “The education of a person changes not only his or her life, but the future of the entire society.” I believe that early childhood education is not just about learning, it’s about helping children light up the world as the leaders of tomorrow.
A person’s life can be changed by where they are and who they meet. My life with children has been full of blessings. The innocence in their eyes, the warmth in their tiny hands, and the sweetness in their hearts have kept me young and joyful. They have given me the childlike innocence that adults have lost, and I have cried and laughed with them and learned true joy and contentment.
Today, as I come to the end of my days, I realize that I have received so much more from my children than I have given. I sincerely hope that whatever they have learned from me will continue to serve as the foundation for a bright future for them.
My hopes for the future of kindergartens
I hope that the place where I worked is not just a place of learning, but a place where children laugh more, have fun, learn, and discover the world and themselves. I hope that this preschool will continue to grow to be the pride of the community and a true cradle of early childhood education. It is my hope that our preschool will remain a page of warm memories for the children and their parents.
Although I am stepping down from my role as a teacher, my heart and eyes will always be here. The enthusiasm of the teachers, the laughter of the children, and the trust of the parents will be unforgettable memories that I will never forget. For the rest of my life, I hope to find a way to contribute in some small way to the children.
On this beautiful spring day after a long winter, I leave you in charge of your children’s education, and I hope you will forgive me for any shortcomings or mistakes I may have made. And I implore you to stay behind and make their early years shine with even more passion and love.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for being here today. With my sincerest wishes for your health, happiness, and prosperity in the years to come, I’d like to sign off. Thank you.

Example resignation speech from a club president who did not complete his term

I stand before you today to tell you of a heavy decision that has come to me, one that has taken me many sleepless nights of deep thought and serious reflection on the future of the club and my own role in it. Even at this moment, my heart is complicated and heavy, but nevertheless, I feel that standing before you and delivering this decision in person is the last responsibility I owe myself. I am here to tell you that I have decided to step down as club president after much consideration, recognizing my shortcomings.
I sincerely apologize for not being able to fulfill the term you have entrusted to me and for having to step down. In the short time I have been president, I believe I have done my best to serve the club with all my heart and passion. When I first accepted the position, I had many plans and goals for the greater good of our club, some of which have been accomplished, but I am saddened to say that due to my inadequacies, some of them have not been able to be completed and remain stalled.
The ○○ Club has always been an important part of the community, thanks to its long tradition and the dedication of its members. I have tried my best to lead this honorable club to greater heights, but unexpected challenges and circumstances have made me acutely aware of my limitations, and I regret that I could not do more for the club, especially since I promised you that our club would contribute to and serve the community through more activities, but I am even more sorry to leave without being able to fulfill that promise.
Despite the support and encouragement of our seniors, including our esteemed Honorary President, we are sorry that this has come to this. I am deeply grateful to all of you for your unwavering support, and I will keep your teachings and valuable experiences close to my heart even after I leave this position. At this crucial juncture, I believe that the club needs a new person to lead the club more strongly. I sincerely ask you to find a good leader who can fill my void and help the club overcome this difficult time and take a new leap forward.
The ○○ Club is a proud organization with a history and tradition that no one can deny. I am proud to have played a small part in establishing our club as an integral part of the neighborhood during my time as president. Although I may not have been able to accomplish that goal with you all to the end, I will take heart in knowing that I did my best as President. Even as I step down as President, I will remain with you as an ordinary member and continue to offer my support and love for the club.
Dear Members, I would like to apologize again for any confusion that my sudden resignation may have caused. I realize that my inadequacies may have inconvenienced you at times, but I hope you will be understanding. The passion and dedication of each and every one of you is what makes ○○ Club shine, and I sincerely hope that you will continue to show your unwavering love and dedication to the club. I sincerely hope that thanks to you, the club will become even stronger and play a bigger role in the community.
Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for all the encouragement and warm support you have given me over the years. I hope that the ○○ Club will grow further with your dedication and enthusiasm in the future, and I wish you all the best. Yours sincerely.
