50th wedding anniversary thank you
Today is such a special day for us and for the couples in this room. First, we’d like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in making this possible, and our deepest appreciation for your generous blessings. It makes this day feel so precious and special.
My wife and I are celebrating our 57th wedding anniversary this year, and there are several couples in the room who have been married for more than 50 years, and we’re all here today to celebrate and reflect on our decades together. Looking back, we didn’t even have a traditional wedding back in the day, and it’s funny to think that we started our lives with a simplified or skipped wedding ceremony, and we’ve been raising our children for nearly 60 years now, but sitting here today in our wedding clothes once again, it’s still exciting to see how old we are. My wife is still the most beautiful, most loving woman.
I’ve never said thank you to my wife for her lifelong dedication to me and our family while raising our children, but I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you today. I feel like I’ve been learning more about myself since she suffered a brain hemorrhage a few years ago and became incapacitated, and I’m truly sorry and grateful to her for standing by my side while carrying the weight of my work and life alone. I’ve heard it said that husbands and wives are more important than children, and it really makes me realize that. I vow to fulfill my role of caring and protecting my wife for the rest of my life.
When we told our children that we were having a joint golden wedding, they were very sorry and embarrassed that they couldn’t arrange a separate ceremony for us and that we had to share it with other couples. We appreciate their feelings, but we feel that this joint ceremony is more special. It means so much to us to celebrate our love and life together with other couples, and it will be even more memorable to have everyone together.
As for my children, I think they’re doing well enough, and as a parent, I’ve always felt filial enough to see them work hard and make their own way in life – isn’t that what parents do? My biggest wish is that they stay healthy and happy. If there’s one thing I wish for, it’s that our children will be able to stay together for as long as we did, compensating for each other’s shortcomings, as many couples choose to divorce or separate. I hope they can support each other, grow together, and be good to each other, as we have been.
Today, we’re starting a new chapter in our lives. We are so grateful for this moment to renew our mindset after so many years together. We promise to be each other’s support in the future and to be together as we are now, and we thank you again.
Thank you.
25th wedding anniversary wife’s thank you
Today is not my first time getting married, but I am many times more nervous and excited than I was at my first wedding, when I was twenty-four years old. Maybe it’s because people my age are wearing tuxedos and dresses, or maybe it’s because I’m actually a little embarrassed to be standing in front of you, but today, holding the hand of my husband, who has sacrificed and given so much for me, I couldn’t be a happier bride.
My husband and I met in college during the labor movement, and I was immediately attracted to his passion and conviction. Thanks to his calm and quiet personality, our love grew slowly and deeply. Today, more than thirty years have passed, but I still see the same young man in my eyes. I am so grateful for my husband’s integrity and warmth that hasn’t changed with age.
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t always easy on him, far from being the quietly supportive wife that most people are. I have a sensitive nature, and I used to get irritated with him unnecessarily on days when my writing wasn’t going well, but he was always there for me, never complaining or blaming me, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without his understanding and consideration.
When I look back on my time with my husband, I’m reminded of the story of Baucis and Philemon from Greek mythology. They loved each other more than anyone else and lived their lives with compassion for their neighbors. When the gods offered to grant them any wish they wanted, the couple wished to die together at the same time. I have the same wish, and if the day ever comes that either I or my husband must go, I don’t want the one left behind to bear the grief alone, for to me, he has been dearer than a parent, closer than a friend.
Do you know the story of the intertwined tree, where two different trees intertwine their roots and branches to grow into one tree? I think that my husband and I are like that tree, growing together, supporting each other for so many years, and I hope that we will continue to do so for many years to come, the two of us, as one, and that one day we will close our eyes together and see each other again.
When I think about this, I feel greedy. I feel like there is so much more to do and so little time left to do it all, to repay my husband for all the love and comfort he has given me. I hope we have more time together in the future than we have had so far. I want to be with him when this life is over, and the next, and the next, and the next.
Finally, I would like to say thank you and I love you to my husband who is standing beside me. I would also like to thank my family and friends for being with me today, and I would like to thank my children, whom I love the most after my husband.
I am deeply grateful to all of you for embracing me and protecting me with your love, and I hope you will continue to watch over us warmly in the future.
A thank you from my husband on our 25th wedding anniversary
Everyone, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here with us today. When I first heard the word silver wedding, I thought it was just a day to celebrate a special moment, like my parents’ wedding anniversary, but as the years have passed, I’ve come to realize that the meaning goes beyond the length of time we’ve been married, and that it’s a day to celebrate the love, care, and understanding that has built up over the years. I’m standing here today because of all the precious memories we’ve shared together.
When my children brought up the idea of a silver wedding, they were all like, “What kind of a silver wedding is this?” At first, I was a little overwhelmed, and I thought that maybe it was unnecessary to have such an event, but after a series of first, second, and third cries, I reluctantly said yes. I’m standing here today because of their insistence, but I’m glad I said yes, because I have the opportunity to have so many relatives here, to serve food, and to share stories. I’m very grateful, and I’m happy.
Now, I would like to introduce my lovely wife, Mrs. ○○○, who has been supporting my marriage and supporting me all these years. Today is the 30th anniversary of my marriage to my wife. I thought the term “silver wedding” was only for old parents, but before I knew it, five more years had already passed since our 25th anniversary. We’ve been through many ups and downs together, and the years have left wrinkles on my face, but I’ve come to accept what time has brought, and I’m so happy to be able to dress up like this and create happy moments with my wife again before I get too old. Seeing my wife dressed like this, I feel like I look 10 years younger, but hey, a girl’s gotta dress up.
I’ve been married to my wife for 30 years, and she hasn’t worn makeup or changed clothes in 30 years because she’s been raising kids, and today she’s wearing this beautiful dress because of our kids, and I’m wondering if she’s really my wife. For all these years, she has always lived for our family without taking care of herself, but after seeing her look so beautiful today, I realize that women are more beautiful when they are loved and cared for than anything else.
Speaking of marriage, let me tell you about our honeymoon. Thirty years ago today, it seems like it was just a few days ago that we got married and went on our honeymoon. Actually, our honeymoon is not a special memory that makes me laugh when I think about it now. It’s not because we went to a nice place, but rather because of unexpected events that made it more memorable.
We were getting married as poor students at the time, so we couldn’t afford a honeymoon, so we asked our friends for help and bought a plane ticket to Jeju Island with our savings. However, on the day of our honeymoon, we were informed that the plane was canceled due to heavy rains in Jeju Island. The dream of a honeymoon in Jeju Island was dashed by the heavy rains, so after a short discussion with my wife, we decided to change the course of our honeymoon to Seoraksan Mountain instead of Jeju Island. As we trudged with our backpacks up the wilderness road to Baekdamsa Temple, the man at the ticket booth said, “It’s a forest fire prevention period, so we’re not allowed to enter the mountain.” Our honeymoon was a Murphy’s Law of bad luck from day one: we ended up going nowhere, spending the night in a motel room, and returning home.
We were disappointed at the time, but 30 years later, we look back on it with fond memories. Despite the name of our honeymoon, the trip was actually one of the most precious moments of our lives. We laughed through the misfortune, and I think those times together made us who we are today.
Mrs. ○○○ is a boyish wife who is moved to tears by small expressions of care and love. I am where I am today because of my wife, who has always prayed for me and given me her unwavering love. The countless sacrifices and love you have given me during our marriage are beyond words. You are the shiniest jewel in the world, the one who has always lived for your husband and children. I cherish the days I have walked with you and hope to walk many more with you in the future.
In the time we have been together, we have experienced and learned many things together, and we have become true companions to each other. Let us continue to cherish and love each other and live happily ever after. I love you and only you forever.
Dear relatives, thank you again for celebrating our silver wedding today. We are so happy to be here with you. Now, please spend the rest of your time eating delicious food, chatting, and having fun.
25th Wedding Anniversary Family Representative Thank you
Good afternoon, everyone.
First, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for joining us today. On behalf of my family, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for attending my parents’ silver wedding.
It gives us immense pleasure to be able to celebrate your silver wedding together on such a beautiful day. Moreover, today’s weather seems to be a blessing for your undying love: clear skies, a pleasant breeze, and everything seems to be just right to celebrate your many years together.
On behalf of the family, I would like to extend our deepest respect.
As I stand here today, I would like to pay tribute to you both first and foremost. It wasn’t until I got married that I realized that being married and having a family isn’t always as easy as you think it is. There were times when we would argue over small conflicts or minor misunderstandings, and sometimes I would feel downright bitter, and I would think of my parents.
My mother and father had been together for many years, and they had never spoken out loud. Watching them, I always wondered how they were able to maintain such a love. So one day, I mustered up the courage to ask my mother the secret. She smiled and said, “When you’re angry and frustrated, put yourself in my father’s shoes ten times over, and the anger and frustration will naturally disappear.” Hearing this, I suddenly realized how deep and mature their love was.
And the same goes for my father. Last year, when my mother was hospitalized, my father didn’t leave her bedside for three months. Even though he had a bad back for a long time, he slept on a hospital cot, worrying only about her. Even after we all went home, he held her hand tightly. I can still see it in my mind’s eye.
It reminds me of the meaning of love.
Even now, they still lock eyes and smile at each other behind our backs, and we just walk by and pretend we don’t see it, but in that moment, we see the immense love they have for each other in their eyes. Every time we see that, it makes us want to live harder.
But to be honest, I’m not yet living perfectly like you two, and I know that I have a lot to work on. So my hope is that from now on, my wife and I will live with faith and love like you two.
We believe that you are God’s chosen mate, and in the 30 years you have been together, no difficulties have been able to separate you. We know that you are surrounded by an unbreakable bond of trust and love that no one can break. That love does not change over time, but rather grows deeper and more radiant. We will imitate your love and live our lives more faithfully.
We will strive to build a family that we are not ashamed of, and we will live our lives with love and respect for each other. We will take to heart the love and teachings that our parents gave us, and we will protect the family that God has given us.
Final remarks
I would like to thank you all once again for being here today. You have made this momentous and beautiful occasion even more special. I hope you enjoy your time here, and I hope you’ll join me in sharing in the joy of making your silver wedding a lasting memory.
Thank you.
Season’s greetings from the bride at her wedding
How are you?
I’m the happiest bride in the world today, ○○○, and while I’m a little embarrassed to be speaking in front of you, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support.
First of all, I would like to thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come to our wedding. Having family, friends, and acquaintances come together to celebrate with me reminds me of how blessed I am, and I couldn’t be more grateful to those who traveled from far and wide to be a part of this important day in my life. It makes this place feel so warm and special today.
I was actually worried about the rain this week, because while I’ve heard that rain on a wedding day is a good thing, I was worried that some of our guests might be uncomfortable. Is it just that November weather is so fickle? Or was I just being unusually sensitive and making it seem more fickle? I checked the weather every day and counted down the days. Looking back, I realize that every year November has passed by without much significance, but this year it was especially precious and busy. As I went through the big process of preparing for my wedding, I felt a little bit of responsibility and excitement at the same time. It made every day special, and I think it also made me realize the true meaning of marriage a little more deeply.
Preparing for the wedding was a very emotional time. I used to jokingly ask myself, “Will we ever make it through the wedding?” because we had so many differences in taste and opinions, but I suddenly realized that I was the one who was meant to be with him, and I felt so grateful to have a relationship with someone who understands and embraces each other despite our differences.
I am forever grateful to my groom. I stand here today as the happiest bride in the world because I have a man by my side who has a generous heart, who embraces my shortcomings, and who always respects me. Sometimes we have different ideas, but thanks to his generous heart to understand those differences, I feel myself becoming a little more mature. I would like to take this opportunity today to tell my groom that I am truly grateful and love him.
I don’t think I’ll ever be a perfect wife, and I don’t think my husband wants a perfect wife either. When I was preparing for our marriage, I was worried about whether I could do a good job, but instead, I was determined to create a warm family where we could rely on each other. My promise to my husband is that in our life together, I will grow and strive to do better, and that we will create a warm home for the two of us.
I also want to share an important promise with him: trust. I think it’s hard to be truly happy if you don’t have trust in each other, and we want to be the kind of couple that believes in each other no matter what, is there for each other in times of trouble, and rejoices together in times of joy.
When my husband proposed to me, he made a special promise to me: he told me that he would never leave me alone, no matter how hard things got, and I promised him that I would at least make sure he didn’t go hungry. We will have each other’s backs, we will overcome difficulties and share joys together, and although I am still a clumsy and inexperienced bride, I will strive to fulfill that promise with all my heart.
Thanks to all of you who have joined us here today, we feel like we’re off to a great start, and we hope that you’ll continue to support us as we move forward together, even if it’s just with a word of encouragement from time to time. From this day forward, we will walk forward with a commitment to care, love, and live with integrity.
Thank you.
Father of the bride thank you at a wedding
Hello, I’m the father of the bride, Ms. ○○○.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the family, relatives, friends, and colleagues of the bride and groom for taking the time out of their busy schedules to walk down the aisle. I am so happy to be here with you today on such a special day.
Today is the wedding of my one and only daughter, and while I always knew this day would come someday, I can’t believe it’s finally here. I can clearly see the image I had of her as a child, and the reality in front of me is overwhelming. As a father, I’m overwhelmed with emotions, and I’d like to share my heart with you.
It seems like just yesterday that she was born, and I don’t know when she grew up to be all grown up. Now that she has found a great partner and is getting married in front of so many people, I couldn’t be happier as a parent, but at the same time, I’m filled with regret as the moments we shared together flashed by like a lantern. I’m so proud of her for growing into such a wonderful adult.
My wife and I have always said that we do our best to give her the best, but I’m sorry that we didn’t do more, especially because I’m a blunt person, and I’m not good at expressing myself, so I didn’t tell her that I love her very often. Today, I want to tell her that I’m really sorry that I wasn’t good enough for her, and that I love her deeply.
I would also like to say a special thank you to my dear son-in-law. I am so grateful to have found someone who will love my daughter and be there for her. I sincerely hope that the new home you two will build together will be peaceful and happy. You have a long road ahead of you, a road of togetherness. I believe that you will cherish and love each other for the rest of your lives, just as you have promised each other in front of you today.
There will be ups and downs in life, but I believe that you will support each other and stand by each other’s side. Even if there are difficult moments, I believe that together you will be able to overcome them. It will be a great help to me, my family, and all of you here today to continue to support and pray for your future.
After being under the protection of their parents, they are now embarking on a new journey of starting a family of their own and taking on responsibilities. Although there is an old saying that they are “out of the nest,” we will always have their backs, and we will always be there for them whenever they need help, and our greatest joy is to see them live happily ever after.
I believe that the most important thing as a couple is respect and consideration for each other. When a wife respects her husband, and a husband loves his wife and builds each other up, there is true peace and happiness in the home. I sincerely hope that they will always remember that family is the most important thing, and that they will cherish and love each other for the rest of their lives.
In closing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the guests for joining us and warmly congratulating the couple on their new beginning. We believe that your warm hearts will be a great blessing to the two of you, thank you very much.
Father of the bride’s thank you at the wedding
Good afternoon, everyone.
Today, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and colleagues for taking this important step to bless my child’s new beginning. Your presence here today has made this occasion all the more special and meaningful.
Today, rain is drizzling down from the sky. There’s a saying that if you get married on a rainy day, you’ll live well, and I sincerely hope that the two of us will always cherish, respect, and love each other.
It seems like just yesterday that my lovely daughter was born and called out “Mommy and Daddy” for the first time, and now we are standing at the big milestone of marriage. From the moment she took her first baby steps, to waving to me as she entered elementary school, to watching her graduate and work hard in the workforce, I can’t believe how fast the years have flown by. And then one day, she said, “I want to get married,” and brought home a trustworthy young man. As a father, I felt a little empty inside, but also proud.
To be honest, at first I felt like I was “stealing my daughter away,” so I was a little hard on my son-in-law at first, but I hope you can understand that this was just a clumsy way of saying that I love my daughter.
My daughter deserves so much, but as an inarticulate father, I regret the moments when I didn’t express all my affection and love for her. I thought it was best to be a silent observer, but now that I realize I won’t be there for her, I feel even more regret and remorse.
As a father, I’m relieved to know that my husband will be there for her, and I’m sure he’s better than me. Because she’s my youngest daughter, I wanted her to be pretty and not have any difficulties, but now that she’s a member of society and has her own family, I’m worried about how she’ll do in the future. My wife always reassures me that “she’s strong and wise and will do well,” but as an idiot father, it’s hard to let go of my worries.
My heart goes out to my daughter and my newest addition to the family, my son-in-law. Sometimes life can be hard, and there will be moments when you want to quit, and when those days come, I want them to remember something. When you believe in each other deeply and rely on each other, you can get through anything together. It’s not your friends or colleagues who can truly support you when you’re down, it’s your family. I hope you move forward together, knowing that you are now the closest thing you have to family.
On this meaningful day, I sincerely wish you both a bright and happy future together. With the love and blessings of our entire family, we wish you both the best in your future endeavors. Once again, I would like to thank everyone for being here today.
From the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you at a friend’s wedding
Hello, everyone! I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of you for joining us today to celebrate the happy future of the bride and groom who are getting married.
I’m Ms. ○○○, a 20-year friend of the bride, Ms. ○○○. She is the first of my friends to get married, so I’m excited and sad at the same time. I don’t usually say this because I’m shy, but I’m here today to congratulate her from the bottom of my heart.
I first met the bride, Ms. ○○○, in kindergarten when she was still a little girl, and she was a well-known “tomboy” in the neighborhood, so it’s a great feeling to see her running around and playing all day, and now she’s about to start a new life as a wife in a family. She’s always been a bubbly and outspoken friend, but she’s actually a very soft-hearted and warm person. She’s been the center of our circle of friends since we were young, and she’s led us with her brightness. She doesn’t show it outwardly, but she has a lot of problems and a deep heart, and I want to support her more than anyone.
My dear friend ○○○. It’s been 20 years since we cried and laughed together. We’ve been through so many seasons and been by each other’s side through so many things, and I can’t tell you how much it’s meant to me to have you by my side, especially since you’ve been there to hold my hand through the hard times and laugh with me through the good times, so it’s with mixed feelings that I’m letting you go.
But now, standing here, smiling with your groom, you look the happiest I’ve ever seen you, and I hope that whatever the future holds for you, you’ll never lose that happy expression and heart. To the groom, please take care of ○○○, my dear friend and now my partner for life. Please take care of her and walk with her so that she can spend every day as happy as ever.
I’m relieved to know that you have a groom who will stand by your side without any more worries. Our friendship will continue, but I sincerely hope that you will be even happier in your new life.
My dear friend, and my wonderful groom. Congratulations once again on your marriage, and I wish you both a life filled with joy and happiness.
Thank you.
Congratulations on your friend’s wedding
Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for joining us today to celebrate the happy future of the bride and groom. Your warm support and blessings are making their beginning even more meaningful. A wedding is not just a ceremony, it’s a promise to walk a new life together based on love and trust, and it’s so touching to see so many of you here. I’m a 10-year friend of the groom, Mr. ○○○, and the bride, Ms. ○○○, and I’ve watched their budding relationship since they were 20 years old, and I can still see the excitement and laughter they had for each other back then.
They were the most affectionate couple I’ve ever met. Sometimes, as a single person, I was embarrassed by their overabundance of affection in front of me, but I was also happy because I knew they were compatible enough that it wasn’t awkward. Today, I am so honored to be here with them as they finally tie the knot after a decade of commitment. For me, just being given the opportunity to say a few words about their marriage is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life, and I can’t think of a more precious gift from friends.
With that said, as someone who’s known them for a long time, I’d like to offer a few words of wisdom: marriages sometimes have big highs and small lows. I’m sure your love and care for each other will never change, but there will be times when you’ll get frustrated over small things and hurt over subtle feelings. When that happens, I want you to think back to the excitement you had when you first met and the times you laughed and cried together.
As you may recall, there was a time a few years ago when they had a big fight and were separated for a while, and while it was upsetting for them as friends, listening to each other’s stories, I could tell that they were indeed indispensable to each other. There was one thing I said to them at that time: “Do you want to keep the one you love, the one you care about, or do you want to keep your little pride?” They chose each other without a moment’s hesitation, and I think it’s because of that decision that they are standing here today, holding hands so affectionately.
There will be hard times in life, and there will be times when you want to quit, but I hope you never forget that moment when you said you couldn’t live without each other. Marriage is a journey of compromise and caring for each other. It’s a journey of expressing your love for each other, and sometimes even comforting each other with affectionate words. It’s also a journey of growing with the other person. We hope you’ll be a great couple, building on each other’s strengths and working on your weaknesses together.
I hope you’ll be a couple to die for, a couple to live with, and a couple to die without. And with the blessings of everyone here, I sincerely wish you a happy family. This concludes my congratulations to Mr. ○○○ and Ms. ○○○.
Thank you.
Wedding Bride Thank you
Hello, everyone.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for attending our wedding today and blessing our new beginning. We are deeply touched and delighted that you have taken time out of your busy schedules to be here for us.
In fact, we had a lot of worries and feelings when we were preparing for the wedding without an officiant, but we thought that this would be a very meaningful occasion for us to express our gratitude to the people around us who we usually don’t express enough.
It reminds me of the first time I met my brother, the groom. He was a very humble, unassuming, and warm person, both in the workplace and among friends. His respect and consideration for others in any situation really impressed me, and over time, he became even more special to me.
As our time together has grown, he’s still the same person he was when we first met: considerate of others and polite in the smallest of ways, and in all of that, I was surprised and happy to find the ideal man I’ve always wanted. He has a lot of good qualities, but he never brags about them, and the way he lives his life with such a calm demeanor makes me admire him every time.
Although we didn’t have a long relationship, it was a time when we were rushing to prepare for our wedding and saw not only each other’s strengths but also each other’s weaknesses, but my brother’s natural acceptance and understanding of all of that gave me a great sense of security. I think my peace of mind these days is also due to the love he shows me. Because of the way I’m learning to love and care from him, I’m more excited about the future. I am grateful and happy to have someone like him in my life.
And to my mom, thank you from the bottom of my heart for raising such a wonderful person. She welcomed me warmly, despite my many shortcomings, and treated me like her own daughter. Seeing how much my brother admires and loves you has made me admire you as well. I will always try to be a daughter-in-law who can bring you joy and happiness.
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to my mom, dad, and maternal grandmother, who have always been by my side, supporting and loving me. Thanks to them for raising me with love and guiding me to meet such a good person and live happily ever after. With the love and devotion they have shown me, we will continue to live our lives with love and gratitude.
Finally, I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to celebrate our marriage today, and we will never forget that feeling and live happily ever after with the utmost care and respect for each other. With all of your love, we will begin our journey together.
Thank you.
Wedding Bride Acknowledgements
How are you? I’m the happiest bride in the world today, ○○○, and although I’m a little embarrassed and nervous to share my heart in front of you, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the important people in my life.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family and friends, as well as my coworkers and friends, who took the time out of their day to come and celebrate our wedding. The warm support and blessings from each and every one of you meant the world to us.
In the process of preparing for our wedding, we were troubled by unexpected big and small disagreements, but looking back, I think all of these moments will be cherished memories for my groom and me. Sometimes we laughed off small problems, sometimes we took each other seriously, and I think all the time we spent together deepened our love and faith. And then I suddenly thought, “Who will save my groom from being a bachelor?” and concluded that it was only me.
I would like to thank and apologize to my husband, who always understands and embraces me with a big heart. Thanks to him, I am standing here today as the most beautiful bride in the world, and I promise myself that I will try to do better in the future, despite my shortcomings.
In fact, I don’t think I can be a perfect wife, but I can be a faithful wife who can make my groom breakfast. Here’s what my first groom said to me when he asked me to marry him. “Even if life gets difficult, I will never leave you alone,” he promised, and I responded, ‘At least I won’t let you go hungry.’ I will keep that promise and walk with you no matter what hardships you face.
I will also share every moment of joy and happiness with my groom. To my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and my parents, I hope you will believe in our promise to respect and love each other and to run a good family.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell my parents, my in-laws, and my groom how much I love and respect them. I love and respect you so much.
And to all of you who traveled a long way to be here today, thank you from the bottom of my heart. We, the two of us, promise once again in front of you that we will cherish, love, and be true to each other.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we will repay you with a happy married life. Thank you.
Thank you from the bride
Hello, everyone!
Thank you so much for joining us today to celebrate the marriage of Mr. ○○○ and Ms. ○○○. Today, on this beautiful day, I would like to share my heart with you as we celebrate their new beginning.
I once had a friend whom I could open up to and be vulnerable with. I had a friend who I could approach with no pretense, who I could always ask, “Shall we go for a cup of tea?” after dinner, who would always accept me as I was, who would always laugh at me, and we would find small comfort in each other.
A friend I could go to on a rainy afternoon, a lonely windy day, or a snowy night without question. In high school, we connected over this poem, counting the stars in the night sky together, sharing our youthful hopes and worries. Today’s protagonist, Ms. ○○○, was that precious to me.
Today, I am overwhelmed and grateful to be here with my dear friend of 20 years as she takes the first step in a new chapter of her life, and I can only feel relieved that the groom will always be by her side, a supporter, helper, and life partner who will protect her more than anyone else.
Groom ○○○, I sincerely hope that you will continue to cherish and love my friend ○○○ as much as I have always done. I hope that you will be the husband who will stand by her side in times of trouble, the one who will give her love and comfort, the one who will be there for her in times of need.
And bride ○○○, I wish you the best as you start your new family and become a wise wife who creates a warm and happy home. I have no doubt that the home of love and happiness you will create as a friend will be beautiful and precious.
Finally, there’s a poem I’ve always wanted to share with you.
Have you ever had someone like that, someone you can believe in, someone you can say, ‘That’s my heart,’ when the whole world has abandoned me and my heart is lonely,
When the world abandoned me and my heart was lonely, did you have the person you trusted to say, ‘That’s my heart’?
Do you have the person who will say to you on the death row of injustice, “If you all die, keep me alive for the light of your world.
Do you have the one who will smile and close his eyes, saying, “There’s me,” when you’re about to leave this unforgettable world.
Just like this poem, we hope that you will be together as the one and only person in each other’s lives. I sincerely hope that they will be a happy couple, who care for each other, love each other, and hold each other’s hands in times of trouble.
Thank you for joining us today, and my heartfelt congratulations on your marriage.
50th Wedding Anniversary Greetings from the Author
It’s been 50 years since my wife and I tied the knot, and as I look back on our half-century together, it seems like so much has happened. I remember that the day we got married was just as beautiful as it is today, so it’s great to be able to celebrate this day with people who are dear to us. I’d like to thank our children for giving us this special occasion, and I’d like to thank all of you for your congratulations.
My wife and I owe our 50 years together to him. Like most of our generation, there were many days when I wasn’t particularly affectionate to my wife, and there were many times when I was clumsy and awkward in my expressions, and we just went through the motions of our respective lives, thinking that I was responsible for the family and she was responsible for the household. My wife has taken great care of my parents, raised our children with care, and has always taken care of everyone in the family, which is why our family is healthy and happy today.
I’ve always been grateful to my wife for her 50 years of service, but looking back, I realize that there were many days when I didn’t express my gratitude well enough. I’ve never given her a special gift or told her how much I appreciate her, so today, I’d like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude that I’ve been carrying in my heart for a long time, and I’ve also prepared a small gift for my dear wife. I’m grateful to her for just being there for me, and I hope we can continue to rely on each other for the rest of our lives.
In fact, our family is our greatest support and reason for living. As the world becomes more and more hectic and nuclearized, we are often not as close to each other as we used to be, and I think we need to cherish our time together and try to understand each other. I sincerely hope that not only our children, but also all of you in this room, will create a harmonious family through the conversations and time you spend together in your own homes.
After this feast, my wife and I are planning to take a trip for just the two of us to the quiet countryside to spend some quality time together and prepare for a happy old age. Before we leave today, it’s a great pleasure to spend some quality time with you all. Please don’t leave early, and let’s have fun and make happy memories together. Again, I want to thank you all for joining us, and I wish you all the best of health and happiness.
Thank you.
Thank you from my husband on our 50th wedding anniversary
Today I feel like I’m celebrating my second marriage.
Mrs. ○○○, with whom I’ve shared half a century of life, and I are pledging eternity once again today, despite her attempts to discourage me from doing so, and that’s why we’ve arranged this golden wedding.
Eternity is the most vague and vague word in the world.
But now I realize what we really meant when we promised each other 50 years ago, when we were so young, “till the roots of our gray hairs,” and I realize how much those words meant, and how true they were.
I can still clearly remember the first time I met Mrs. ○○○.
We met as a young man like Qingdao and a maiden like Iris. We had nothing, but we walked together with a dream. Mrs. ○○○, you were the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, and it’s only today that I’m able to tell you how much that beauty still lingers in my heart, even at this age.
You have stood by my side throughout my life, and it is only because of you that I have been able to walk this far.
In the beginning of our marriage, I think I curiously overpromised.
I promised you that I would never let a drop of water get on your delicate hands, that I would pamper you for the rest of your life, but I wasn’t good enough, and things in this world aren’t always that simple. As the years have gone by, those delicate fingers have been etched with the marks of hardship, and the years of patience and sacrifice have been marked with wrinkles on a face that has never known luxury. In a way, I’m sorry, and in a way, I’m proud, because it’s all because of me.
We use the word companion, but it literally means my other half.
There’s a legend that humans weren’t whole to begin with, that they came to earth with half a body, that they would never be whole unless they found their other half.
For me, you are that other half.
You are the one who has filled in my gaps and weaknesses, the one who has made me whole. You are my wife, ○○○, and it is because you are my other half that I am able to live as a whole person. The most beautiful and pure part of me is also because of this love that is you.
My belief that love fades with time, and my love and gratitude only grows deeper with each passing year.
No words can ever express my gratitude to my wife for raising our three boys so well, and for being my constant companion. Now, as we hold hands together and confess in front of our children, I have a lifetime of gratitude and admiration for you.
I don’t think I’ve ever written a proper letter to you since we were married.
I’ve always been a blunt man, far from romantic, and I’ve always been bad at expressing myself; but to-day I must take this opportunity to tell you how I feel.
My dear Mr. ○○○,
Today, this golden wedding is not just a promise to spend the rest of our lives together.
In fact, it is my promise to be with you for all eternity, even after death. Not only in this life, but in the next, and the next, and the next, and the next, and wherever you are born, I will follow.
In the next life, we will meet again and walk together. For the rest of our days, let us be a tree for each other to lean on, a nest for the rest of our lives. I love you. Forever.
Finally, I’d like to thank our children for making this day so special.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the couple.
You guys, our time and memories with you made this wedding even better.
We hope that our story today brings you some good memories as well.
Thank you.
50th wedding anniversary husband thank you
Good morning.
I never thought this day would come. It’s hard to believe how fast the years have flown by and to be standing here in front of you again after half a century, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to you for taking the time to be here.
A lot has happened in the past 50 years, and as I’ve traveled through life’s mountains and valleys, some joyful and some difficult, I look back and realize that I’ve been able to face them all with a smile because I had my wife by my side. My time with my wife has been the greatest gift of my life, and I stand here today to thank her again for that gift.
Today, I’m getting married for the second time, to the same person, and when we got married, I made a promise to myself, “We’ll get married twice.” It was romantic at the time, but as the years went by and we raised our children, I realized how difficult it was to keep that promise. Honestly, I thought I’d forgotten I even made that promise.
As we grew older, as our children grew up, as we had grandchildren, and as our time together exceeded 50 years, we realized that it was your support and commitment that kept us together. Mrs. ○○○, I would like to take this opportunity to say to my wife, when you said you didn’t want a golden wedding because you were embarrassed, I knew deep down you wanted one. After half a century of being together, I can see your heart in your eyes.
Do you remember the day we first met? Perhaps we remember it differently. I don’t really remember it. It’s been so long, and we’ve been through so much together, that it’s hard to remember our first meeting. More important than the day we met is the time we spent together and the warmth we gave each other.
I have always strived for the ideal relationship between a husband and wife, as the Bible says: “Wives should honor their husbands, and husbands should love their wives.” You have respected and encouraged me, and I have loved you to the best of my ability. Of course, there have been many times when my heart has been broken, but I am grateful for every moment.
The older I get, the more I remember the things I did that upset you, and the more I feel sorry for myself. If today’s golden wedding can make me forgive you, I will be a more loving and grateful husband to you for the rest of my life. I take this opportunity to confess for the first time in front of our children and grandchildren. My darling, I love you so much.
And to our children and grandchildren, the children and grandchildren born of our love, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you and love you too. Our lives are richer and happier with you by our side.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being here with us today, and we wish you health and happiness in the future.
Thank you.
Thank you from my husband on our 50th wedding anniversary
Good evening, everyone.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our family and friends for joining us today. Thank you for joining us to celebrate my parents’ golden wedding on such a special day.
Today marks exactly 50 years since my parents were married. Their half-century of caring for and loving each other is an inspiration to us. Looking back, it’s clear that their journey has been one of love, patience, and a deep trust in each other. It’s amazing to see how the tiny seed of marriage has grown into such a beautiful, solid tree over the years, and we’re all grateful and thrilled for them.
How can it not be special when a couple has shared 50 years and half a century of life together? At first, we were indecisive about how to celebrate their golden wedding, even as the date drew nearer. It was difficult to get everyone together, especially with two high school students in the midst of their own busy lives, but we hoped that having everyone here would be a small gift to them.
I wanted to get my parents a special gift for their golden wedding day, but I had a hard time deciding what to get them. After a few ideas came to mind, I realized that it would be nice to make a video that captured the last 50 years of their lives, so I hastily sent out a letter to my family and started organizing it just four days ago.
The siblings gathered cherished photos from their respective albums, and the grandchildren made little videos to send their congratulations to their grandparents. Sons, daughters-in-law, daughters, and sons-in-law also prepared their own heartfelt congratulatory messages and photos. The whole family worked late into the night to select, scan, and edit the photos and videos to create a special gift for their parents.
At first, we were worried that we wouldn’t be able to complete the video in such a short amount of time, especially when we brought all the albums from our parents’ house and organized the photos to be scanned. But as we went through each photo, we realized that they were precious memories and a great joy for all of us, capturing moments of my siblings and my parents as children, our parents as young people, and our family history.
This video we present to our parents today, however short and simple it may be, is a gift from the heart and gratitude of all of us. Dad and mom, thank you for always being there for us. We sincerely hope that you will continue to be with us in good health and share many more happy years with us.
From the family on behalf of the 50th wedding anniversary
Good afternoon.
First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our family and friends who took time out of their day to attend my in-laws’ golden wedding. A special thank you to those who traveled from far and wide to be here.
Today, my parents-in-law celebrated their second wedding, 50 years after their first. I was told that when my father-in-law first made his promise to my mother-in-law, he said, “We’re going to get married twice.” My mother-in-law often tells that story to me and laughs at how romantic he was. Every time I hear her say it, I realize that marriage is more than just a promise, it’s a testament to a deep love that stands the test of time.
I remember the day he told me he wanted to have a golden wedding. It was a moment that reminded me of my father-in-law’s romantic nature, which is so different from my husband’s, and it made me smile. I admire the fact that they still cherish that promise after all these years, and it makes today’s occasion even more meaningful.
It’s been 50 years since my in-laws met, grew their love, and raised their children by each other’s side, and I’m sure they’ve had their fair share of ups and downs that their children don’t know about, but they’ve overcome them one by one with love and trust. I think their love and trust has deepened over the years, and that’s what makes today’s ceremony even more special.
Now that I’m married and raising my own children, I realize that the promise to marry twice isn’t always easy, and it can easily fade in the daily grind of marriage, but the fact that my father-in-law still keeps that promise today, and my mother-in-law hasn’t forgotten it, is an inspiration to us all.
I look to my parents’ deep affection for each other as a role model. As their child, I don’t know how to express to you all how much joy and pride it is for me to be planning my parents’ second wedding, and I will strive to be a good parent, just as they have set a great example for their children.
Mom and Dad. You’re getting older, and our children are growing up and starting their own families. I think the reason you’ve stood by each other’s side for so long is because you’ve always had unwavering faith in each other, and I’m grateful that that faith and love has served as a great fence and support for more than 50 years.
My father has been a strong shield, protecting our family, and my mother has wrapped us in her delicate touch, and I am deeply grateful for their love and devotion. Although my husband and I have not shared the promise of a golden wedding, today’s occasion has inspired us to dream of one in the distant future.
In closing, I would like to thank you all once again for being here and wish my parents a very happy 50th wedding anniversary from the bottom of my heart.
With gratitude.
On behalf of the family on their 50th wedding anniversary
Good evening, everyone.
I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our family and friends for joining us today. The fact that you have taken time out of your busy schedules to be with us makes this day even more meaningful and heartwarming. It has been a long time coming for my in-laws to celebrate their golden wedding. I hope that this special day will be remembered as meaningful for them, for our children, and for all of you who have joined us.
It’s not uncommon to hear a wedding officiant say, “Love each other and stay together until you’re gray in the face.” When I heard this phrase before I got married, I thought, “What a difficult and long journey,” and it’s only through marriage that I’ve come to understand the meaning of that phrase. Marriage is never an easy road, and it’s a journey that can be even harder when you’re together. The more you live, the more you realize that it’s never as simple as it seems, when you’re trying to figure out how to live every day with the person you’re supposed to spend the rest of your life with.
As your in-laws celebrate their golden wedding, you realize the importance of marriage even more deeply. Now that I know its meaning and weight better than anyone else, I realize how much this day is worth celebrating. Your 50-year journey together has been one of love, patience, and understanding, and your marriage reads like a long history book, with so many things you’ve experienced over the years, and while I don’t know all the stories, I can’t help but admire the support and companionship you’ve had along the way.
As I’ve come to realize in my own marriage, there are many times in life when I hate my husband and many times when I’m exhausted by the storms of life. I’m sure my mother-in-law has had her own mixed feelings about my father-in-law over the years, but she has always spoken warmly about him in front of her children, and has worked hard to show them that the two of them are in harmony. She has always been an example to us and our children of what it looks like to live together as a married couple with mutual respect.
Today, I am reminded of what a valuable lesson you have taught and will continue to teach our children. As a daughter-in-law, but also as a woman, I find your golden wedding to be a wonderful and honorable occasion.
They are here today because they have been together for 50 years, sharing their joys and sorrows with each other. The love and respect I’ve seen in my parents-in-law is something I’ve never seen before, and it makes me dream of celebrating our own golden wedding someday in my own marriage to my husband. In our future marriage, I will do my best to emulate their example and set a good example for our children.
Today, my parents-in-law were overjoyed, smiling the whole time and saying a lot of affectionate words. They are not used to showing affection, but I can’t help but be touched by the way they express their sincere love on such a special day. Our whole family cherishes the love that you two give us, and we will always cherish it deeply.
We wish you both a long, healthy, and happy life together, relying on each other as you do now. We know you will continue to be an inspiration to us, and we send you our sincere love and gratitude.
Mother, Father, we love you. Congratulations on a very happy day.
Sample 50th wedding anniversary thank you
Good evening, everyone.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family and friends for being here today. Today is a very special day for my family, as we are celebrating my in-laws’ golden wedding anniversary. It’s a very special time for us, and it’s made even more special by all of you being here.
One of the common sayings at the beginning of a marriage is the officiant’s comment, “Love each other and stay together until your gray hairs are roots. At the time, it just sounded like a common mantra, but as you get married, you realize how deeply meaningful it is. Staying by each other’s side for all those years is not as easy as it sounds. Life is not all joy and happiness, sometimes there are unexpected hardships and trials. Looking at my in-laws, who have been through all this time and experience together, I find today’s golden wedding to be truly amazing and moving.
I’ll admit, I was one of the biggest skeptics about marriage before I got married. I didn’t know if I could handle a relationship with all the responsibilities and sacrifices that it entails, so I think that the fact that they have been by each other’s side for 50 years is an example of true love. Congratulations to my in-laws on this wonderful golden wedding, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest respect and congratulations to them from the entire family.
I think there are times in marriage when you hate your husband, and there are times when you feel sorry for your wife, and I’m sure my mother-in-law had her moments, but she always had nothing but good things to say about my father-in-law, and she always tried to show me how they were getting along, which was a great example for me. It makes me want to be a good wife and mother and live my life to the best of my ability.
In addition, the 50 years my parents-in-law have been together gives me a renewed commitment and meaning to marriage. I hope to celebrate my 50th anniversary with my husband one day, and I vow to work hard and grow in love with each other to get there. As I realize that marriage is a journey that everyone in the family makes together, not just me alone, I will spare no effort to understand each other’s hearts more deeply.
Today, my in-laws have been expressing their love to me on a daily basis, and it warms my heart. It’s a little awkward because my parents don’t usually express their affection like this, but I’m touched by their sincere words of love on such an important day. This kind of warmth from my mom and dad will be a great support for us for a long time.
I sincerely hope that you will continue to rely on each other and stay healthy and happy together as you are now. You are our rock, and you are a great inspiration for us to live by. We will never forget this special moment in our lives, and we will follow in your footsteps and live our lives together beautifully, with love and respect.
Mother, father, we love you. Please stay by our side happily for many years to come. Thank you.
50th wedding anniversary family representative thank you
Hello, my name is ○○○, the eldest son.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who have taken the time to join my parents’ golden wedding today. Today is the 50th anniversary of our parents’ marriage, and it is a very meaningful and emotional day for us, their children. We are deeply touched by the warmth of your hearts for traveling so far to be here.
Our parents have always been there for each other, holding hands in difficult moments. Through your lives, we have learned what it means to love deeply and sacrifice, and today we are honored to have you in our home with the same trust and affection that you’ve maintained for 50 years.
Everyone, I want you to see my father and mother up close. No one would ever recognize them as elderly, nearly 80 years old, with wrinkle-free faces and boyish smiles. They still look at each other with the same innocence that they did when they were younger. My mother often said, “Respecting each other and thinking of the other person’s heart first is the most important philosophy of life,” and true to her words, my father and mother have always maintained their love and respect for each other.
My father has been an education official all his life, and he has always been honest and hardworking. His steadfastness has been a great lesson for us children and an example for all of us in this room. My mother has also been a woman of prayer who has sustained her seven siblings through each day. Her love and dedication as a mother and in keeping her family in the faith is indescribable.
The example you have set for the world as a couple has been a great example for our children. Throughout your life together, you have faced some difficult moments, but you have always held each other’s hand. Even when there was one failure, my father never lost heart, and my mother was there with tears and prayers for their children. Those years when my father faced financial difficulties and my mother worked tirelessly for the family were unforgettable times of sacrifice for us.
We remember. Watching them walk side by side taught us, as children, a meaning of “family” that is more beautiful and sublime than any philosophy. Watching you two, I’m always reminded of how great and precious that commitment is – to meet someone, marry them, and stick with them for the rest of your lives.
My dad has always kept my mom’s sacrifice close to his heart. When they go to dawn prayers, the sight of them walking side by side, holding hands, touches all of us deeply. Even as the years have passed, our parents have remained the same, cherishing and honoring each other the most.
Today, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you once again, both as your child and as someone who has been taught by both of you. Dad and Mom, I sincerely hope that you will always be as healthy and happy as you are now, and that you will be with us for many more years to come.
Congratulations to our parents on their golden wedding day, and we, your seven siblings and family members, will cherish the joy and emotion of this day for a long time to come. We love you, Dad and Mom.
50th wedding anniversary family greeting
Good morning, everyone.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of our family and friends for attending my parents’ golden wedding today. The presence of all of you who have stood by and supported them throughout the years makes their 50 years of marriage even more special and meaningful.
It’s been half a century since our parents met, grew their love, and started a family. Throughout these 50 years, they have always been dedicated to their children, and have relied on each other through many challenges and joys. There have been many things that we, their children, have never known, and the love and trust they have built has made our family stronger than ever.
Today, my parents are getting married for the second time to the same person. It’s a story I’ve heard since I was a kid, but when my dad first promised my mom that he would marry her, he promised to do it twice. Looking back over time, I realize how romantic and deeply committed my father was. I am so grateful and happy that I can feel that again today for my mother, my first love and lifelong partner.
But marriage isn’t always all happiness and joy, and I know that it’s not always easy to keep the promises you made at the beginning while raising children and fulfilling your respective roles in the family and society. Nevertheless, they have stood by each other’s side and surrounded their family with love. As my mother and father grow older, I realize as their children how much their faith and love for each other has helped them through all these years.
In my own marriage, I look to my father and mother as role models in our home. My father always told me, “A wife should respect her husband, and a husband should love his wife.” My parents truly respect and love each other, and they have built their faith and affection every day. This has been an inspiration and example for their children.
Now, as their children, we are proud to be able to fulfill that promise. As we prepare for our parents’ second wedding, we’re not just celebrating, we’re reaffirming the meaning and value of their marriage. The family they’ve built is our greatest pride and the foundation of our lives.
On this 50th anniversary, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our father, who has always been our fence and strong defense, and to our mother, who has always surrounded us with her delicate touch. I would also like to thank all of you for being here today, and join you in wishing my parents a long, healthy and happy life together.
We love you, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
