I worked as an editorial reporter for a newspaper!

I worked as an editorial reporter at a newspaper, where I was able to study the entire media process and learned a lot from the very beginning of my career in a family atmosphere where the editor-in-chief himself passed on his knowledge to his juniors. I was able to learn exactly how an article is created and my role in the whole process, and I was able to utilize editorial-related programs to learn all the skills related to editing, especially the basics of editorial design by constantly training to understand the flow of a story and pull out copy.
I joined a creative group that specialized in books and productions because I wanted to experience more freedom and variety in design. It was a new field where everything was happening simultaneously and the content was changing all the time, whereas in newspapers, I could predict things through big rules and design work. I also experienced the hectic life of working in a design agency, where the work was done according to the advertiser’s needs, regardless of the completeness or schedule I thought it should be, but when a book or a production came out, there was a different sense of accomplishment than in newspapers, so I was able to endure it.

From colorist to game app developer!

I originally came from an IT background, but more in coloring than web. When I joined the company in 2007, there were no smartphones, so many teams were developing content through coloring or ringtones rather than games. I was in charge of data analysis, service Q/A, system statistical analysis and verification, uploading and downloading, ringtone inspection, and ringtone production for the ringtone content service. However, I felt that the market was saturated, and when smartphones were released, I thought I should develop apps, so I started developing game apps in earnest while attending graduate school. I started publishing game content and managing contracts at a subsidiary of SK affiliated companies, and after that, I formed an app development team and was in charge of content planning, interacting with developers, app development and publishing, contract management, sales statistical analysis management, and marketing management. After four years of production, I realized that I wanted to focus on making games at a company that specialized in games. I moved to a small venture company that made adventure games, and spent three years making two games, and decided to move to your company because I wanted to develop a full-fledged adventure game app while remaining financially free.

Previous experience as a cultural program director

After returning home from my studies in Germany, I was hired as the director of the station’s cultural programming, which I approached with a lot of excitement and responsibility because it was the first step in my goal to expand the cultural horizons of Korea, based on my musical training and deep understanding of the arts.
As the director, I focused on choosing a theme for each week, analyzing the works of many teachers in depth, and easily conveying the intentions and backgrounds of the works to the viewers. In particular, it was very rewarding to select a group of artists and organize their various musical colors into one program. It was also very meaningful for me to be the first person in Korea to plan the themes of the opera sections and introduce the full texts in translation. This project was started with the intention of not only introducing the music, but also conveying the history and emotions behind the lyrics and background to the viewers. Along with that, we organized concerts and published a book of translations, making classical music accessible to more people.
In addition, I have been working to expand the reach of classical music through my teaching positions at universities, where I have organized various seminars with professors and lecturers to make classical music accessible to both performers and audiences. The seminars took a broad approach by discussing not only the history and technique of music, but also the emotional and healing effects of music, giving people who might otherwise find classical music difficult and rigid a chance to gradually approach its appeal. In addition, I regularly contributed a music-related column to a monthly magazine to make music more approachable to more people.
In this way, I have been working in various ways to communicate with people through music and bring healing and hope through it. I will continue to do my best to share the power of music with as many people as possible.

Combining my major and creativity!

Even in college, it was my bright ideas that I was most recognized for, and even when I was doing group projects with my friends, I was slow to configure programming languages compared to those who had a knack for programming. It was natural for me to go into the IT field and work because it’s what I love and what I enjoy doing, but I decided that being a programmer wasn’t for me, so I started my social life as a web designer.
My first job after majoring in telecommunications was planning and managing a CRM system. Based on my expertise in programming, I designed OLAP and data aggregation systems, and was in charge of managing and operating the developed systems.
In addition, I designed a game management tool and was in charge of planning and developing content for the developed game. I was mainly engaged in planning and managing web-based programs, but as the company’s business area gradually expanded to mobile, I was paid to take on mobile planning duties.

I have a background in computer network management!

While I was in college, I worked part-time at ○○Tech, where I was in charge of managing computer networks, and I earned my certification by participating in the maintenance and management of computer servers. It was not easy to combine work and school, but I think it helped me learn more efficiently. I think knowing that I didn’t have a lot of time on my hands helped me to focus and make the most of every minute. I enjoyed the fact that the more I developed my skills, the more I was able to expand the scope of what I could do. So I took on the challenge of earning various IT certifications, including ○○, to build my skills. I also interned in the technical sales support department, which gave me sales skills. It was important to me to be professional, so after joining the company, I focused on gaining specialized knowledge about the company’s technology areas. As I built relationships with vendors based on my expertise, I realized that mutual trust is the most important thing. I will create the best results based on professionalism and trust.

Experience in Android app projects!

While attending university, I was a member of a program development club within my department. I learned about various programming languages, networks, servers, etc. through my major courses, but it was difficult to keep up with the rapidly changing mobile technology. I joined the program development club to compensate for that, and every year we had the opportunity to demonstrate the programs we developed at the school festival. Developing programs for the festival was the most important club activity every year.
In my third year, when I was the leader of the club, we worked on a project to create a health care application based on the Android platform. Nowadays, it is not easy to exercise consistently as people of all ages are becoming more interested in health. Based on this reality, we categorized muscle exercises and aerobic exercises that can be done in 5, 10, and 15 minutes in between daily activities, and connected each exercise to a video that can be followed in time. The interface was configured to show the amount of calories burned for each exercise and the effectiveness of the exercise in a graph so that you can recognize it at a glance.
After collecting a lot of data from the Internet and going through a lot of trial and error during the programming process, I often had sleepless nights trying to find a solution when I couldn’t make any progress as the festival approached. I still can’t forget the joy I felt when I successfully completed the program and ran it on a real smartphone. Receiving praise from professors at the festival was a reward for all the hard work I did with my friends.

Entertainment site owner and developer!

After graduating from college, I joined the development team of Movie, a movie ticketing site. As a ticketing site, it was most important to ensure that the real-time payment part was error-free. As a movie ticketing site with a long history and a huge database, data management was also one of the main tasks of a developer. They checked daily site traffic and pageviews, analyzed search terms by day, and managed database updates for each menu.
Every quarter, the site would be redesigned, and depending on whether it was a partial or full redesign, I would work late nights and all-nighters for days or even a month. After the redesign, I would be busy fixing bugs after the redesign. This rhythm made a year seem to fly by in the blink of an eye.
After two years, we began a major overhaul to transform the site from a movie ticketing site into an all-encompassing entertainment site. The number of pages on the site grew dramatically, and the size of the database associated with each page grew even larger, as we began selling DVDs and providing VOD services, as well as booking tickets for theater, concerts, and other performances. The site needed to have an integrated search system that would allow users to search across all categories (movies, theater, concerts, VOD, etc.) when entering search terms, making the site revamp a huge undertaking. We managed to open the service on time, but the search function needed to be improved. While working on the search function, I discovered that there was a problem with the code that calls the result when a search term is entered, so I was able to upgrade the integrated search service successfully.

3 years of network development experience!

I enjoyed studying information and communication at a vocational high school, especially when I was taking network development and security classes, but it was challenging and made me focus more on my studies. I also learned from my high school studies that I have a competitive spirit that makes me set goals and dig harder when faced with a difficult task. I learned that if I set my mind to something and put in the effort, I can achieve good results. The more I studied, the more I realized that network and security was my aptitude, so I decided to pursue this field.
After graduating from high school, I joined a venture company in network security as a network developer. Being the youngest in the company, I was taken care of and loved by my seniors, and I was learning network development and security tasks step by step to build a career in this field.
However, I often thought about the idea of living abroad, especially when I was in my third year of work experience. I discussed it with my parents, and they told me that they would support me as long as I thought it through and made a decision. As usual, they gave me freedom and let me take responsibility. I decided to study abroad and enrolled in an English language school while working.

Your content has been featured on major portals!

After winning a contest in college, I started working at a content provider company that provides content to major portals in Korea.
In order to create good content, I have been planning and producing content by going through a brainstorming process with no time limit, thoroughly verifying and evaluating through numerous planning meetings, and planning and producing content. The amount of work that each team member is responsible for is large, so I often worked overtime, but I enjoyed working with the mindset that I was learning through the whole process. I am confident that my creative ideas and planning skills, application skills acquired in the field, content creation skills, and communication skills with colleagues will be a source of energy for your company to produce new content.
In charge of managing the company’s own website, I spearheaded two major site revamps per year. We decided that our homepage should be our closest point of contact with our customers, so we revamped it to reflect their feedback and improve features that were frustrating them.
After the revamp, I organized events and promotions to actively engage customers. These activities contributed to the revitalization of the site, and I was recognized for my efforts by being named the best employee of the year at the company’s year-end party.

Planning a global fashion magazine!

I used to work as a journalist for a global fashion magazine. It was just before the mall started, and I was young and eager to gather as much information as possible. I strived to be creative with my article content. Since web promotional content is all about how it looks, I studied design and presentation to learn effective presentation, which I believe will be a technical skill in my future role as a fashion MD.
After working as a journalist, I ran my own shopping mall and planned a magazine to deliver news about fashion trends. The magazine was produced as a free magazine and distributed to subway stations and related parties. It started as a free magazine, but in the future, I am planning to update it into a global fashion magazine. The good thing about planning a magazine is that you can continuously collect the most up-to-date information in the fashion field. As you gather information, you will be able to apply it to your MD job.

Prepared and experienced HR interns!

As the saying goes, if you want to do something, spread the word, and I always told my friends and seniors about my interest in HR while I was in college. This was true for me as well, as there are many internship recruitment events, but it was hard to find one for a specific role, and I was introduced to the HR internship opportunity by a senior in my college. I thought it was a great opportunity to get a taste of the job I wanted, so I quickly applied. Before my final semester at university, I got the opportunity to work as an HR intern at a business hotel in the center of Seoul.
I experienced basic HRM tasks such as translating business procedures into English, managing the HR DB, assisting with student financial aid, and recruiting part-time employees, and I was able to fully feel the atmosphere of social life by working in a real workplace. I was impressed to learn that the HR team manages much more information than I thought to measure and manage employees’ work capabilities. I learned a lot from seeing firsthand the efforts of the HR team to manage data about employees and increase each member’s work capabilities to contribute to the productivity of human resources.
This internship experience gave me a broader understanding of HR work and motivated me to specialize in HR.

Based on my accounting skills, I worked for a year!

I joined an accountant’s office right after graduating from the tax accounting department and worked there for a year. It was a little difficult at first because I was trying to put into practice things that I only knew in theory, but I was able to master it quickly because I had a strong will to learn, and I was praised by my seniors for being a quick learner because I took good notes and learned well with my meticulous personality. At the accountant’s office, I was in charge of the four major insurance policies, year-end settlement, tax adjustment, income tax return, and VAT. My seniors asked me if it would be difficult to do so many tasks in a year, but they soon trusted my meticulous nature and entrusted me with the work. I was also praised for my ability to organize documents, as I am good at working with Hangul, Excel, and PPT.
I will use this experience to become a meticulous tax accountant in this company. The most important thing in a company is the management and flow of money. I am a person who can be trusted and entrusted.

Gaining practical experience as a secretary!

Secretarial work is a job with many variables depending on the actual situation. I think it’s the most typical area of work where no matter how hard you study, it’s useless without hands-on experience, so I spent as much time as I could to gain practical experience. As part of my field trip, I had the opportunity to work in an association’s public relations office for six months. In addition to the tasks assigned by the staff, I also took note of their interests on a daily basis and created news clippings of interest to them, which I forwarded to them. At first, they said, “What’s the point of this?” but after a while, they started to discuss ideas from the articles I clipped and asked me to do more research where necessary. It’s a small thing, but it’s something I’ve done to prepare myself for my role, and it’s something that’s been recognized by the team, and I’ve also manualized the tasks in the office so that when someone comes back to take over, they’ll know what to expect. No one in the office had ever done this on their own before.
It was an experience that gave me a practical example of what is required for secretarial work, which I had only studied in school, and I learned how to deal with my seniors, colleagues, and superiors and the attitudes I should take towards people in each position. I also learned about organization and inter-organizational communication by assisting other departments on several occasions during my work experience.

I was in charge of the language school’s counseling desk accounting and planning financial accounting!

I was in charge of the counseling desk and accounting at the language school. As a language school specializing in elementary and secondary school students, the students usually spoke English, and there were many native speakers. I thought that working at a prestigious language school shouldn’t require me to have poor English skills, so I started studying English. Although I was often exhausted after working almost 11 to 10, including overtime, I persevered and worked hard to improve my English. I am a person who can overcome difficult environments if I think it is necessary.
I was in charge of financial accounting for planning, which involved a lot of out-of-office work, so there were a lot of expenses to handle, and the bookkeeping was quite complicated, but I was meticulous in my work. I was well-received, and in my second year, I was put in charge of training new employees. I’m very caring and respectful of others, so I was able to do a good job of guiding new hires to get acclimated to the company. As a new employee, I was able to build a strong bond with them because they were the first to bond with me and familiarize themselves with the company’s business. I think this helped to create a cheerful atmosphere in the office, and it also laid the groundwork for better work performance.

A career as a general manager in industrial planning!

I worked in the Industrial Planning Department. I was in charge of general management, and there were a lot of documents that needed to be processed every day. My first job after joining the company was to input data. It was a simple task to type the documents and input the data, so it seemed boring to do it every day. However, through that job, my typing speed in English, Chinese characters, and Korean became incredibly fast. I believe that every job has its advantages and disadvantages, and I will become a better person by living with the attitude of maximizing the advantages in everything I do.
I moved from planning to business management, and my main areas of responsibility were related to accounting and finance. I gained practical experience in this area by taking on bookkeeping duties in addition to document processing. I became proficient with the Excel program and was able to utilize it to speed up my work. Utilizing computer programs has given me the ability to be quick on my feet and increase the efficiency of my work.

Internship experience with a solid foundation!

I participated in a corporate internship during the summer vacation of my senior year of college. It was a three-month program, and two of us were selected to intern for an additional three months based on our performance in the first three months. If done well, it was a great opportunity to gain six months of experience as an intern in a large company.
I was placed as a Human Resources intern, and my first task was “copying”, as in lying. It was a training material that was distributed to all employees, and my job was to make photocopied printouts that were distributed to each department according to their headcount. No one told me which departments were on which floor – they just gave me a task and it was up to me to figure it out. I started by printing out a departmental floor plan and sorting the copies by checking off each team’s location and headcount. It was difficult for me to learn the locations of the departments, but I figured that knowing the nature of the team would help me do my job. My judgment was correct, and I received praise from my supervisor for solving tasks that I was asked to pass on to other teams or request.
During my internship, I realized that work in the workplace is not about sitting down and teaching you step by step like in school, but about throwing things at you and letting you solve them. I also learned that when I ask questions of my seniors, I need to get to the point – I’m a quick learner and I understand their needs. I learned how to create neat and presentable documents, phone etiquette, email writing, and communication skills with clients. In recognition of this work attitude, I was selected as an intern for another three months, completing a total of six months of internship. Based on this experience, when I join the company, I will be able to create concise and accurate documents as an office assistant and work well with seniors.

I worked part-time in my professor’s lab and in the administrative support team!

I worked part-time in my professor’s lab during my undergraduate studies, doing office work related to a research project he was preparing. It was a valuable opportunity to learn a lot from my seniors. As the youngest person there, I did my best to fulfill my duties with a sincere attitude, and as a result, I was able to earn good evaluations from my seniors.
I worked in the education management support team, where I was in charge of promoting education programs and pursuing contracts. This is also where we actually give lectures, so I also helped with student-related matters. I think it was a great experience to learn a lot, even though it was difficult because I was in charge of various tasks. I was able to learn about the work of the school as a whole, and I was able to learn about management support work, so I have a lot of competence. In my second year, I set up and led my own TF team. I will do my best based on my experience here.

Working as a bookkeeper for an insurance company and a lawyer’s office!

My first job was at an insurance company. Working as a bookkeeper for a rather large insurance company, I realized that relationships with people are important and that it’s important to do things correctly. In an insurance company, there are many people with strong personalities because they are somewhat older and have their own business, so it is most important to have an amicable personality and a caring heart to coordinate with them and take care of their work. I started to learn the work by mixing with them and making it convenient for them, and later I could build a strong friendship with them as I got used to it. And I thought it was important to work accurately because it is a job that manages money. My next job was in a lawyer’s office. At the insurance company, things were a bit hectic because we had to take care of a lot of people, but at the lawyer’s office, things weren’t as hectic, but we had to be more accurate in handling various taxes. Again, I took seminars on taxes and tax laws, and I think I learned how to work more professionally. After I gained more experience, I was assigned to organize and train the company’s internal documents, as well as to organize the work rules and procedures of the bookkeeping and accounting department, which manages the overall income and expenses within the company.

Management support and organizational management!

After college, I worked as a contractor for a heavy industrial company for two years. At MHS PM, I was able to experience various business-related tasks as an office assistant to the business manager.
Since the department was in charge of paid and unpaid defects for thermal and nuclear power plants in Korea, I was in charge of budget management, delivery date management, support for clients, and ordering materials for paid service work at domestic power plants. I also supported overseas paid defect work by expanding the business area from the headquarters to India and Vietnam as well as Korea. I changed jobs when my contract expired.
My second job was at a company called ○○ Networks. I was in charge of internal organization management and accounting and settlement in the management strategy team. I was in charge of four major insurance and payroll-related tasks, and I handled small but important tasks such as human resources, labor, and general affairs. I was also in charge of sales management and support, internal welfare and regulations, internal documentation, and financial management.
As a small company, it was a great place to learn because the employees in the business strategy team helped each other regardless of the area of work, and I was able to experience all aspects of business management.

Playing the role of general manager in the accounting and bookkeeping departments!

I studied at a commercial high school when I was in high school, and when I finished my studies, I got a job right after graduation. I wanted to go to university, but I had a difficult family situation, so I decided to get a job and gain practical experience first. I worked in the accounting department of a tax office that handles tax settlements. As it was a tax accountant’s office, I mainly handled simple tasks such as entering and managing slips and assisting with closing. As I gained more experience, I was also involved in VAT filing and year-end reconciliation. I felt like I learned more from these hands-on experiences. The responsibility of the job pushed me to study more, as I had no choice but to study in order to do the job accurately. In particular, the year-end reconciliation work is very complex and requires a good knowledge of tax laws, so it was an opportunity to acquire knowledge in various aspects.
Based on my experience at the tax accountant’s office, I joined a general conglomerate after two years. I worked in the accounting department and performed tasks such as managing the four major insurances and payroll. I was mainly in charge of cashiering and invoicing, so the work itself was not as complicated as my previous accounting job. What I was more concerned about was organizational management and administration. As my position increased, I was also assigned to be the acting head of the accounting department, but I found that overseeing general affairs and human resources was more burdensome than I expected. At one point, I was given the overall responsibility of instructing employees on how to file withholding taxes and organizing and reporting the results of their work. At this point, I realized that I was more comfortable in a learning position than in a directing position. However, I thought that confidence and competence in my work would bring me ease, so I studied more and worked harder to become a competent deputy.

Experiencing all aspects of marketing statistics and operations

After graduating from college, I worked as a marketing statistician in the Card Finance 1 team of a credit card company. I was seconded to the credit card company for two years as an employee of a staffing agency. My main job was to filter marketing audiences. I was in charge of filtering audiences for various campaigns and customized events for specific audiences, and I was in charge of all tasks related to marketing statistics and operations, such as registering marketing audiences and content campaigns.
As I was in charge of tasks such as utilizing pre-written queries or SAS, responding to customer complaints, and supporting product operations, I was able to encounter various variables through real-life experiences that I only knew in theory in college, and in the process of solving them, I was able to grow and specialize.
At the card company, there was a lot of competition for performance among each department and team, so there were a lot of promotional campaigns run by each department, and it was important for me to be thorough and error-free in each task so that there would be no complaints from each team.
The workload was heavy, and I often worked overtime for two weeks at a time, but I always kept a smile on my face and tried to enjoy my work by making jokes to cheer myself up when things got tough. At the end of my secondment period, I received a lot of regrets from the managers and promotion managers of each team. The support and encouragement I received from employees who were more disappointed than I was that I wasn’t able to convert to a full-time position due to the company’s policy gave me the courage to knock on your door.

How I got my start in sales as an intern

I started interning right after graduating from college. I participated as a public relations intern for an exhibition in Korea. It was my first time doing this, and the exhibition was not known to many people, so there were many challenges while planning, and I was afraid that not many people would come. However, I did not give up and started planning, and I put my head together with my teammates and started promoting it to people by creating a blog and Facebook based on content that fits the characteristics of the exhibition and that people who might find it challenging would like. As if we were making a mountain out of a molehill, we went from 3 or 5 people coming to our Facebook and blog to over 1000 visitors each, and up to over 10000 visitors to our blog. This is evidenced by the 80% increase in visitors compared to before. Seeing the success of the initiative made me realize that I wanted to do sales and marketing, because although it was hard work, being able to let people know about our initiative, make money, and see it as an immediate result was a thrilling feeling that other people thought was cruel.

In addition to her experience in promotional festival planning, she has a background in sales in trade Japan

I have part-time experience in planning a festival to promote local specialties. The event, organized by the prefectural government, had the primary purpose of making the local specialties known to the wider community, and the secondary purpose was to increase tourism to the area. Being part of the public relations planning team was a great opportunity for me to gain real-world experience. During my time there, I saw myself working with many foreign professionals. I realized that I needed to improve my foreign language skills, so I started learning English and Japanese. I was already confident in my English, but I started learning Japanese from scratch with a more in-depth study of English, which was more effective because I was learning with the purpose of improving my professional skills.
I was in charge of sales activities in Japan in trade. As a company that mainly engages in trade activities with foreign countries, I was in charge of importing and exporting electronic products. Among them, I was mainly in charge of trading with Japan, and I was in charge of contract work and sales activities with Japan. What I realized while working in sales is the importance of trust. This is true in any business, but especially in trading, I deeply felt that nothing can be accomplished if trust is broken.

A career in customer support, retail marketing, and public relations at a securities firm

My first job in customer support at a brokerage firm gave me a clear idea of what I wanted to do in the future, what I was good at and what I needed to work on. As the newest and youngest person in the company, I tried my best to play the role of a junior, setting the tone for the team and taking care of the needs of my seniors. I was also able to accurately understand the moods and needs of customers and take care of their needs a little earlier, so our customer satisfaction scores were always at the top of the list. In addition, since I was working in a securities-related support role, I never neglected to study and learn basic knowledge about securities. In fact, I was told by my seniors that I was working at the level of an agent after six months.
After a year at my first company, I realized that I wanted to build my skills in more diverse fields, so I moved to a company in distribution. I moved to a company in marketing. It was a different field from my previous work, but it was fulfilling because I was able to work directly with public relations and marketing, which I had always been interested in. In addition to managing an advertising agency, I also planned my own events and field work, organized viral marketing using digital media, which has become an issue of much interest recently, and ran a community related to the company. As I planned various channels for customer contact, I was able to identify customer needs faster than anyone else, and I was the first to propose various applications to bring these needs to fruition, and I was recognized in the company as a career employee who adapted to the team the fastest and achieved results despite having different fields.
I returned to the securities industry at the suggestion of my team leader, who had previously worked in the same team. He was building a team at a new company and said he needed someone with experience in public relations and marketing as well as an understanding of the securities industry, so I thought it would be a new challenge and took the position. As a trader in investment banking, I was responsible for institutional spot orders, wrap orders and portfolio management for brokerage firms, and individual day account orders. I also worked in marketing support, where I successfully created and managed materials such as institutional reports and proposals, as well as acted as a communication conduit with clients.

Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales and medical device sales

I worked in drug sales at ○○ Pharmaceutical, where I traveled to general hospitals and private hospitals to promote their new products and sign business contracts. I started because I was confident in meeting people and promoting products, but I was not afraid. It was an experience that made me realize that the best strategy is to feel confident and deal with the opponent. In order to have such confidence, I had to believe in myself, and it was an effort to form faith in myself. I realized that confidence comes from recognizing myself as an expert on the product I’m pitching. With the confidence I developed through hard work, I was the top performer among new hires that year.
I had some medical knowledge from selling drugs, so it was easy for me to adapt to selling medical equipment. As before, I had to have an accurate analysis of the products I was selling, so the first thing I did after joining the company was to analyze the products. As it was a large contract, I also thoroughly analyzed the other party, such as researching what products the hospital preferred. I was able to win several contracts by making personalized recommendations on the equipment the hospital wanted.

Interned as a salesperson at an education company

As someone who prided myself on being proactive, I got my ass kicked, literally, when I joined an education company as a salesperson. I had to have a good grasp of the market, analyze it scientifically based on that grasp, prepare sincerely, and be able to speak it perfectly when I went to the sales floor. I also needed to be good at meeting new people because sales is no longer based on the concept of acquaintances, and sometimes I had to go in and make a deal without knowing them. In particular, ○○ was a place that actively dealt with other cafes and restaurants through partnerships as well as its own stores, so I needed to be able to sell in a variety of places. Six months out of the year I interned, I literally had a lot of empty days, but I tried to get back on my feet after failures, learned the secrets from my seniors, dug into the sales strategy, and eventually started making sales one by one after six months. Through that experience, I realized that sales requires thorough preparation.
After completing the internship program, I started my business in Noryangjin, a street I used to frequent. At that time, I thought that Noryangjin needed a coffee shop, so I registered for a space at the city hall and boldly thought, “Let’s start a business while studying English.” Although I didn’t get the initial results of my investment, I worked diligently and earned profits with my kindness and delicious coffee. After I achieved my goal of studying English with the profits, I scored a TOEIC score of 900 and traveled to Europe to celebrate. It was a fun and rewarding experience, and I think it recharged my courage.

Quickly assess customer needs and satisfy them with accurate work knowledge

I’ve been earning my own money since I went to college. My parents paid for my tuition, but they also taught me that it’s important to be financially independent after the age of 20. During my college career, I had a variety of part-time jobs, including serving at a restaurant, working at a stack corner at an amusement park, and barista at a coffee shop. In particular, the T Family Restaurant in front of my school, where I worked during the winter break of my freshman year, was so well-recognized for its friendly staff that they asked me to continue working there after the break. These jobs exposed me to a wide variety of people and taught me that people have different characteristics and personalities, and when I catered to them, customers were happy.
After graduating from college, I worked as an inbound agent for a credit card company’s customer center at a staffing agency. There was a lot of knowledge to acquire and many demanding customers, but I took notes and used my commute time to master the necessary knowledge, and I quickly adapted to the job by asking my team leader to listen to the calls of my seniors repeatedly. Through these efforts, I was able to quickly grasp the needs of customers and respond with accurate knowledge, leading to customer satisfaction. After the one-month probationary period, I was always at the top of the monthly performance evaluation, which is divided into seven levels, from the highest grade of S to the lowest grade of F. I always maintained an S and an A. I received corresponding incentives and was given the opportunity to travel overseas once a year, which is only given to three people out of 100 employees. I was also given the task of call coaching new employees in recognition of my performance.

From sales support to sales planning

My first job after finishing school was at ○○ Corporation. I started as a document management and office assistant in the sales support department. I managed the team’s office-related documents, from planning documents to shredding unnecessary documents. As I got used to my job, I took on the task of organizing and managing data related to the sales department’s sales data. I was also in charge of product ordering, inventory management, and tax invoicing, which allowed me to understand the overall workflow of the sales department.
I managed salespeople, managed their performance data, and communicated with customers and logistics companies, so I was able to manage all aspects of sales.
After two years in sales support, I was recognized by my managers for my work, and I moved to the sales planning team to take on more important tasks. I was given a bigger-picture role in sales strategy formulation, product marketing planning, promotion planning, annual sales policy formulation, sales planning, and performance management, which helped me develop an eye for the company’s present and future.

Sales Management and Sales Planning

After graduating from university, I started working in sales management at a company that manufactures auto parts. I was in charge of sales management and planning at the sales headquarters of a company that supplies and exports auto parts to automobile manufacturers and tier 1 suppliers in Korea.
I was in charge of calculating sales data and preparing reports based on the results, maintaining data, establishing annual budgets for the sales department, budget reduction measures, establishing monthly budgets and managing budget performance, establishing annual sales plans, analyzing performance against plans, analyzing performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, analyzing profit and loss on a monthly basis, and managing profit and loss status by customer. I was also in charge of regularly analyzing automotive market trends, establishing sales strategies and proposing sales directions accordingly, and preparing company-related public relations materials.
It was not an easy task to manage about 200 customers in a sales team of 3 people, but my colleagues worked well with each other, dividing tasks and helping each other, and we had the best teamwork of any team.

Mail order teams, call centers, and hospitality

I have had many part-time jobs in the service industry, and I have worked in telecommunications and call centers, and then I got a job in a logistics team. In the telecommunications sales team, I was mainly responsible for introducing and selling mobile phone products. At first, I felt awkward about meeting customers from different walks of life and ages and didn’t know how to deal with them, but later I thought about what they wanted and how to deal with them, and I dealt with them based on my insights.
What 20-somethings wanted, what their parents wanted, and what students wanted explained was different, so I adapted my marketing strategy to take that into account and got the results I wanted. I was the highest performer in the team I was working with, and when I worked in the call center, I answered order calls, introduced products and answered customers, and I proposed and implemented a multi-order system that normalized the service level of order calls.
My first official job was in the logistics team of the same company that ran the call center. I was in charge of the courier contract, communicating with external companies and successfully leading sales. Since we had already explained the product, which is a courier service, I was in charge of closing the last contract by introducing the unique advantages of our service. Although it was the last step of the contract, I was careful and cautious because I could easily break the contract. As a result of my kindness, I was able to secure a new client, and I felt satisfied with my performance.

I worked as a research assistant in my advisor’s lab

I assisted my professor in his research on the topic of ○○, mainly analyzing data and translating papers written in English. Through these tasks, I learned more about Japanese companies. I was able to expand my knowledge of business administration by reading a lot of articles related to business administration. I was also able to broaden my social circle through discussions and debates with my colleagues while conducting research. I was also able to develop my public relations and marketing skills as I was in charge of planning and organizing an event to present my research findings at a conference.
I worked at a study abroad center and was in charge of students who wanted to study abroad in Japan. The agency is headquartered in Korea and has a branch office in Japan, and when an international student from Korea enrolls in the agency, they are connected to the Japanese branch office to help the student adjust to life in Japan. I was assigned to the Japanese office, and my job was to help first-time international students from Korea adjust to life in Japan and help them become proficient in Japanese. Through this job, I was able to make connections with many people, and I think I became a more sociable person.

Making my mark as a functional wear designer

My first role as a designer was at ○○, where I designed functional wear. Known for breaking the stereotype that functional wear is all about function and no consideration for beauty, I participated in the production of garments that combine both function and beauty. We conducted a lot of market research to find out what features customers wanted. We had a research organization in place, but I didn’t stop there, I went out and got my hands dirty to get the right information. In my search for what customers wanted, I realized that I had forgotten that I was also a customer, so I designed with the mindset of a consumer by thinking about the features and design I wanted first. This worked well, and we received a good response at the design competition.
As a design team leader at ○○, in addition to direct design, I was also responsible for leading team members and leading cooperation between departments. As a design team leader, I was in charge of briefings and presentations about the design, and I was well received because I was proficient in using computer programs for presentations.

From food development researcher to organic food development research

I participated in research as a food development researcher. The project involved researching the benefits of fermented foods, which included several foreign professors who were interested in Korean fermented foods. It was a valuable opportunity to interact with foreign researchers who participated in the research with my professors. I felt proud and honored that there was so much interest and affection for Korean fermented foods in foreign countries, especially Dr. Lee, who was the center of attention when he published his thesis. I believe that working with such renowned world-renowned scholars further ignited my pride and passion for food research.
In Food, you worked on organic food development research. This is a top challenge for the food industry as many people are interested in organic food due to the wellness craze. I spent many sleepless nights working with researchers to figure out how to maximize the benefits of organic food while still appealing to consumers’ taste buds, but I never felt tired because I knew that my research efforts would help consumers eat foods that are good for them.

I have a background in foreign financial institutions

I have been working at a foreign financial institution from 2015 to the present. At the beginning of my career, I was in charge of serving customers at the teller counter, counseling them on products and opening deposits, and later, I was in charge of requesting financial information and preparing related documents for public institutions and corresponding with them. When I was working at the teller counter, I used to receive a quarterly award for being the number one customer satisfaction employee, and nowadays, I have received a lot of responses from customers by explaining things at eye level. I started to think about how I could convey my financial knowledge in an easier way, so I created explanatory materials with minimal jargon, practiced them separately to explain to customers, and responded to them at the counter, and after a month or two, customers would come to me on purpose to hear my easy explanations. In fact, even though I don’t have to do this much to work at the counter because the contract doesn’t change, it doesn’t take much to get the job done, but I thought it was my role and reward to provide easy explanations and peace of mind to those who contracted through me.
I have been working in the financial sector for a long time and understand the basic financial management process by handling related tasks, and I have experience in financial management as well as accounting. I have experience in various document creation and OS utilization, as well as project planning and internal and external presentations, so I think I have the basics to explain and appeal to new businesses. In addition, I can speak practical English through my work at a foreign bank, as well as Chinese, which I have been practicing since I was in school, to a level that allows me to conduct meetings and projects.

Working in fund administration at an investment securities firm

My first job after graduation was in investment securities. I think I learned a lot in my short time there. Working in the corporate finance team, I got to know a lot of companies and how different companies have different ways of managing their funds. Working with corporations as clients taught me a lot more about manners, as we were basically making deposits and withdrawals in the tens of billions a day, I became more meticulous and had to satisfy my clients (corporations) with minimal time, which helped me develop speed and accuracy in my work.
My first full-time accounting job was with a small business. The reason I chose a small business was to see what accounting skills I had. Handling accounting and taxes for a company with nothing at all is something you can’t do if you’re not good at it, and I was able to focus on accounting and study constantly in that tough environment, which led me to work in the management support team six months after joining the company.

I’ve been in charge of all aspects of design

The first design company I worked for was a multidisciplinary design firm, meaning that we didn’t specialize in one area of design, but rather a wide range of design, including advertising, graphics, products, etc. It was also a place where I learned a lot. Later on, I worked in the office of a teacher I admired, who was a designer I had always admired and was fascinated by his unique way of working, so I got the chance to work with him. Working with him gave me the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of his work, and it helped me to not get frustrated and push myself to work on my own designs. He also showed interest in my designs and gave me the opportunity to take full responsibility for them.

I’ve developed a wide range of programming skills alongside my proposal design experience

While in college, I developed a strong interest in layout design and designing spaces with CAD programs through my coursework, competitions, and my senior thesis, and I was able to utilize my love of working with my hands and my meticulous nature in drafting classes, which made it even more appealing when working on other projects. I made efforts such as attending additional cram schools to study broadly and deeply, so I passed the written examination and passed the practical examination to become an interior architectural technician and an interior architectural industry technician. I also went on an architectural tour of Shanghai through Jeonggong Ari, and actively promoted a photo exhibition on campus with my professor with photos taken in Shanghai.
After graduation, I was assigned to design proposals at my first job, and although I initially thought that being detail-oriented would be a detriment, I was fascinated by the work and worked steadily through frequent all-nighters, and I saw the possibilities of various fields. Moreover, I felt that the person in charge actually symbolized the image of the company, so I thought I should do my best to become such a person in the future. I also wanted to challenge other design fields, so I went to school and learned editing programs such as InDesign and Quark, and became proficient in them.

Learning from a competitor’s learning management teacher

After graduating from college, I worked as a learning management teacher for three years. I increased the number of members I managed from 10 to 50, and once I took on a member, I increased the retention rate through thorough learning plans and careful counseling. Whenever I visited a member’s home, I made it a priority to make connections with previous learning, and I accurately communicated the student’s learning development through parental counseling. This meticulous and diligent work earned me the trust of parents, and they often recommended other members, so I was able to increase the number of members.
As a result of my hard work, I was recognized as a top performer in the winter vacation special promotion for the number of new members and the retention rate of existing members. I was rewarded with a four-day, five-night trip to Thailand, which made me even more proud to present the trip to my parents.
I am confident that my work experience will be a great advantage in fulfilling a sales management role in your organization. I am confident that I will be successful in the role of helping you improve sales performance and increase member management and retention.

Freelancer in the field of brand design, web design

This is my first time applying to a web design company like yours. However, I have plenty of experience doing the same work on a freelance basis. I’ve worked on brand creation and launch, creating websites, designing banners, developing logos, and other tasks that are necessary for the process. Usually, these projects last anywhere from six months to a year or more, so for larger brands, I’ve worked in teams and collaborated with multiple people to get the job done. The work itself was freelance, so I didn’t have a lot of restrictions, and it wasn’t directly affiliated with a company.
At one point, I launched a jewelry brand. It was a jewelry brand that mainly sold and made wedding and gift jewelry. It was a brand aimed at a younger demographic, so I was young out of college and didn’t have a lot of experience, but I was told that that freshness was better. I worked with the brand manager, a person with development experience, a planner, and an idea person to develop the brand. My main job was to first create a logo with the company’s name, edit the image, and build a site that applied it. In the process, I was able to experience both designing a homepage and creating promotional materials.

Managing insurance products in the financial industry

You’re a life insurance company, but my previous work experience wasn’t with an insurance company, but with a bank. I worked as a fixed-term employee at a local post office bank, in the position of an intern. Working as an intern for a limited period of time meant that my job itself was unstable and unstable. I had not yet become a full-time employee and my work was not unified, so I needed to learn and strive in various ways. Therefore, I thought that even though I majored in the financial field, there were many areas that I lacked, so I worked with the mindset of learning one by one.
Specifically, I did most of my office work managing insurance products. Insurance products are not a core business at Postal Bank, but it is a business that has been emphasized recently. As the privatization of banks increased, it was difficult for Postal Bank to stay out of the market of selling insurance products and financial products, so one of the roles of clerical staff was to conduct promotional activities to secure customers. I was trained in the financial field, but not specifically in public relations or marketing activities, so I worked diligently by looking for manuals and references to handle this part efficiently.
In fact, the company didn’t require new interns to sell insurance products or acquire customers, but as I was doing basic office work, my knowledge of insurance and financial products grew, and I realized that I wanted to use it, not just know about it, so I wanted to expand my role by taking on tasks that weren’t mandatory for me. I had discussions with my colleagues and peers in product management to streamline our workflow, and we worked to develop new processes by applying the resulting ideas. Even if our efforts didn’t immediately lead to innovation, it was rewarding to see them reflected in some way.
