Inauguration speech for an inauguration ceremony
Welcome to a new life, a new home, and a new leap forward in the ever-present race for survival. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each of the chapter officers and company executives who have taken time out of their busy schedules to be here today. Your interest and participation is a great strength and driving force for the development of our organization.
Dear fellow members!
Our organization has developed smoothly and reached where it is today thanks to your dedication and hard work. Our past presidents have led our organization firmly, especially our predecessors, who, with their outstanding leadership and sense of mission, have published newsletters that have attracted many members to join, and provided a place for communication and unity through the operation of computer cafes. This has become more than just a gathering, but an opportunity to deepen friendships and bonds among members, which has made our organization a more united one. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the past president for his many contributions during his tenure.
I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to the nine previous officers and to the members who have been so supportive of each event. As the 10th President, I stand here with a great deal of responsibility, and I admit that there is some pressure because my predecessor left such huge footprints, but I pledge to work with you to fulfill all tasks responsibly with the spirit of the “All-Weather Marines” and the belief that “until it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.
Today is also the day to congratulate the newly elected 21st union executive. We hope to build a reasonable and progressive relationship between labor and management without major conflicts, and through mutual cooperation. Our joint efforts will provide a solid foundation for the growth of our organization.
Dear fellow members!
The number of global competitors around us is increasing day by day, but we must strive to ensure that our customers find us by themselves through higher levels of vehicle quality and customer satisfaction. This is not just a matter of quality competition, but also means that each of you must have the mindset of contributing to the development of our company with pride. The current crisis will be overcome one day, but in the meantime, we must remain vigilant in cost reduction and efficiency management, which will make our organization stronger and better prepared for the future.
I realize that some of you are unable to be here today due to personal and company commitments, but I would like to emphasize that this is not an end, but a new beginning. We need your continued interest and support to make our organization truly strong, and I believe that with your financial contributions and active cooperation, our organization will become even stronger and achieve even greater things in the future.
I will continue to build a new 10th officer team to create an organization full of friendship and trust, where seniors love their juniors and juniors respect their seniors. We will actively interact and lay the foundation for advancing the goals and values of the organization, and pave the way for the eternal honor and prestige of the Marine Corps.
We will further develop the bloodline that has been passed down through the interest and cooperation of our members, and move forward into the future with innovation and reform to meet the needs of the times. We will further systematize the organization through the reorganization of the executive board, and devote ourselves to everything we do as an executive board that does not fall short of your expectations.
I would like to thank you all again for putting aside your work to be here today, and I look forward to your continued interest and support in the development of our organization. In conclusion, I hope that our organization will continue to develop further together with you, and this concludes my inaugural speech. Thank you.
Inaugural speech by the president of the Travel Club
Hello, everyone.
I am ○○○, the elected president of the Travel Club ○○. First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members for electing me as the president of our club. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to the previous president, Mr. ○○○, for his generous advice on the operation of the club. This is our regular meeting, and we are here to express our gratitude to you for trusting me to be your president. We have prepared this meal with great care, so please enjoy it and have a good time.
Our club started as a small group of like-minded people, but now the number of members has grown to more than ○○, and thanks to your active participation, the size and activities of the club have expanded significantly. In particular, the club cafe, which was started with the intention of sharing useful information and various experiences gained from traveling, has been selected as the representative cafe of the portal site. We owe all of this growth to you, our members, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude.
To further grow our affinity group and bond with our members, we are organizing a 2-day MT for all members this coming winter. We will also have special programs and events to help you take a break from your daily routine and enjoy the joy of traveling with your colleagues. We will announce the detailed schedule in the café soon.
In addition, as the club has grown in recent years, we have come to expect discounts and conveniences in addition to information sharing. However, there have also been concerns that we have lost the essence of interaction and communication through travel that we initially sought. The management team, including myself, deeply sympathizes with these opinions, and we have organized this MT specifically to recapture the original purpose of the club and strengthen the camaraderie among members. We hope that many members will join us, and that this will be a place where we can reconnect with the original purpose of the club.
“Seize the day, and believe the least in tomorrow.” In the words of the ancient Roman poet Horace, today is the most precious day we have together. I hope you can put aside all your worries for today and enjoy this moment.
We will continue to do our best to make the club even better in the future, and we ask for your continued support and enthusiastic participation to ensure a bright future for the club.
Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend this meeting, and I hope you look forward to the wonderful journey that the Travel Club will take together. Thank you.
Greetings from Dong at the inauguration ceremony
Good evening, honored residents of ○○.
My name is ○○○, and I have just taken on the important role of the new apartment representative. This summer has been unusually long, with a long and tedious rainy season, one typhoon after another, and localized heavy rains here and there. It’s been a tough summer, with all of us dealing with the heat and the challenges of natural disasters. Thankfully, Typhoon ○ has moved off the east coast and into Japan, so we can breathe a bit of a sigh of relief and hope that it will pass without too much damage.
Now that we’re nearing the end of August, we’re starting to feel a little bit of fall in the air. After a summer filled with the sound of cicadas, the cool autumn breeze will soon be upon us, and I hope you’re all staying healthy, surviving the heat, and having a great fall.
It is with great pleasure that I greet you today as your new neighborhood representative, as my predecessor is unable to fulfill his duties for personal reasons. Although this is a temporary position with no set deadline, I feel more responsible and want to serve our ○○ apartment building with all my heart.
I think the most important thing about apartment living is community spirit and mutual cooperation, and our ○○ apartment is a place where residents of all ages live together. We are currently working on several plans to provide a safe playground for children to run around and a small library for all generations to use. We’d love to hear from you, the residents, to share your ideas and advice.
In the meantime, I would like to emphasize that we need to continue to strive for change and development. As Dongman Bae, President of Cheil Worldwide, once advised, “We should never settle for the present, but always look toward the future.” It is said that a bird called the kiwi in New Zealand became flightless and blind because it had no need to fly or explore thanks to a safe environment with no natural enemies and an abundance of food. This story shows that complacency can lead to the deterioration of our original abilities and possibilities. It contains an important lesson that we should not forget the need for change and innovation even when we are in a comfortable and safe situation.
○○ Residents,
In order for our apartments to become more comfortable and better places to live, we need to work together to improve every little thing, whether it’s the little things in our daily lives, like parking, security, or communication between residents. I will be a representative who will listen to your voices and solve even the smallest inconveniences together.
Rather than falling into self-satisfaction, always looking to the future and moving forward one step at a time will lead the development of our community. I will continue to strive for a better apartment life, recognizing that when we feel safe now, it can be a crisis in itself.
We promise to do our best to make ○○ Apartment full of dreams and hopes in the future, and we sincerely wish everyone who lives here a joyful and happy life filled with mutual respect and cooperation. Thank you.
Chairman’s inaugural speech
Thank you, everyone. My name is ○○○, and I am the new president of the ○○ Study Group.
It is an immense honor to be able to stand here and greet you all, and I am sorry that I can only formally express my gratitude to you through this ceremony, even though I know I should be able to meet and greet you personally.
This moment today has a special meaning for me as well. I have been a member of the Society for many years, and I have seen firsthand the contributions it has made to our society, and now that I have assumed the role of President, I feel both responsible and excited to continue to build on our traditions.
This year, we have embarked on a new challenge: we have decided to publish a bimonthly newsletter at the end of each even-numbered month of the year. This will be more than just a way to disseminate information; it will be a place for members to share knowledge and resources, and to discuss various issues facing our society.
This will be an opportunity for members to share valuable experiences and insights gained in their respective fields, and to grow together by gathering wisdom from each other. By expanding this communication space, we will become more than just a group, but a pioneering organization that leads the development of society and seeks alternative solutions to various issues.
I think it is a very exciting development to identify social problems and propose solutions to them, and the steady growth of our organization is all thanks to the interest and passion of our members. Although the publication of the newsletter is just a small beginning, if we can contribute to the informatization of society and problem solving through this, the achievement is all yours. I am deeply grateful to all of you for your efforts to make this newsletter a reality.
I realize that a lot is expected of me as well. In my new role as President, I will have my work cut out for me, but I will be a fast learner and will try to meet your expectations. I will try to learn in half a year, or even three months, what my predecessors have learned over the years. What I want to emphasize is trust between members. Trust is the most powerful force that can help us move forward together, and I believe that active communication is the key to building it.
Therefore, in addition to regular meetings, let’s try to communicate with each other frequently through various mediums such as email, phone, and messenger to make the study group more active. Small communication will build up trust, and trust will lead to great development of the study group.
In the new year, I will do my best to make sure that we can fulfill our bright and hopeful goals. I will try my best to stay one step ahead of others to guide you on a good path, especially to reach out to those in need, and to take the lead in creating a bright and happy society.
Even if the road ahead is not smooth, I will live up to your expectations and work hard for the development of the research society. I ask for your unwavering encouragement and love, and I ask for your criticism and support whenever necessary.
We wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Thank you once again.
Inaugural speech by the Federation President
Honorable ○○Union ○○○President, chapter leaders, and members, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to join us today. Your trust and support means a lot to me as I stand here today to take over as the president of the Federation. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to the first, second, and third presidents who laid the foundation for the Federation to become what it is today. They laid the foundation of the Union and led it with dedication, and it is only because of their dedication that the Union has become what it is today. I would like to express my sincere gratitude and respect to the previous presidents for their hard work.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our comrades who have participated in various rallies and press conferences and worked hard for our union. I know that your efforts and hard work have been a strong pillar of the ○○ Union. We would not be where we are today without the unity and enthusiasm you have shown.
I personally feel that the gravity of the presidency is undeserved. As a person with many shortcomings, I feel a heavy responsibility just to stand here. But what I want to promise you is that I will continue to work collaboratively with you, our chapter leaders, and our members, and not try to do it all on my own. The Union will not suddenly become different just because I’m president, but I will do my best to bring you together, listen to your voices, and walk with you.
As President, I will value each and every one of you, and I love you with all my heart. It is with this heart that I begin my new term, and I promise to work hard to repay you. Of course, the word “hard” doesn’t do it justice, but here are some of the things that are on my mind today.
First, I will honor the valuable accomplishments and traditions of our past presidents. I will build on the good practices and methods that have served the Alliance well, and where there are areas that need improvement, I will take action to make them even better. I will also be flexible in how we operate to keep up with the changing times.
Rather than claiming the title of president, I will be humble enough to listen to you and accept criticism, so please don’t hesitate to tell me what you’ve always wanted, what you’re unhappy with, or what you think needs to be improved. To this end, we will open an online cafe to facilitate communication between members, and we will provide a message board where you can freely share your thoughts.
We’ll also be looking for more input on the direction of our organization in the future, and we hope that with new suggestions and visions, you can help us become a more vibrant and connected community.
I wish everyone in this room the best of health and happiness, and I look forward to working with you as we move forward to help the Alliance thrive and you thrive.
Thank you.
Inaugural Address by the Bereaved Families Association President
Honored and beloved members!
I would like to thank Mr. ○○○, Deputy Director General of the National Veterans Affairs Office, Mr. ○○○, President of our sister organization, Mr. ○○○, President of the ○○○ Association, Mr. ○○○, President of the ○○○ Association, Mr. ○○○, Secretary General of the ○○ Association, and the presidents of veterans’ organizations.
Especially, Mr. ○○, President of the ○○ War Veterans Association and Co-Chairman of the ○○ Solidarity, Mr. ○○, a lawyer who served as President and Co-Chairman of the ○○ Solidarity, Mr. ○○, President of the ○○ Association, Mr. ○○, Chairman of the ○○ Association, and Mr. ○○, former Minister of the ○○ Association, and all the guests!
I would like to express my deepest gratitude and infinite honor to all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend the launch of our new chapter of the ○○○ Bereaved Families Association.
For many years, I have been committed to restoring the rights and improving the welfare of the bereaved families of ○○○, along with our outgoing president, ○○○, and I consider it a great honor and responsibility to assume the role of president from today based on my experience on this path. As I represent more than ○○○ members, I promise to do my utmost to fulfill the expectations of the Bereaved Families Association and its members.
Honored and beloved members!
This morning, I prayed to the spirits of our country and to God with a deep sense of duty. I sincerely hoped that God would give me the wisdom and strength to fulfill my great mission as president of the Bereaved Families Association, so that I would not lack anything in carrying out all my duties. In the future, we will move forward with one mind and one heart for the advancement of the rights and welfare of the Bereaved Families Association.
Chairman ○○○, who is stepping down today, has made many achievements to improve the status of the organization and the rights and welfare of members during his ○ years in office. However, there are still many challenges ahead of us, such as paying fair compensation for their contributions and sacrifices, resolving the issue of children of ○○○ who have not received benefits, and expanding veterans’ welfare benefits for elderly members.
In addition, we believe it is time to strengthen our position as a national veterans’ organization to prepare for unfortunate events such as national crises, as well as to take the lead in defending the liberal democratic system and national security activities. We have a responsibility to maintain and inherit the spirit of patriotism, and to instill in the growing generation our noble spirit of sacrifice and love for the country by devoting ourselves to veterans’ activities.
Honored and beloved members!
All of our ○ million members are living with the pain and heartache of those who sacrificed their families for Korea, and we must build an organization that understands and cares for each other based on deep bonds and empathy. I will truly empathize with your pain and strive to provide warm comfort and support to each and every one of you. I will also focus on creating a place for more members to participate and communicate, bringing hearts and minds together. Only then, I am confident that our organization can exert greater power and achieve real change and development.
Dear honored and beloved members!
As I begin my new term, I would like to ask for your full support. We will do our best to live up to the trust and expectations you have placed in us, and we will always stay humble and always listen to the voices of our members so that we can be the leadership you have supported.
In closing, I would like to thank the Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs and all of our guests for joining us today to celebrate the new beginning of our organization.
Thank you.
Inaugural Remarks by Mr. Yoo, Branch Manager, ○○ Bank
Good morning, everyone.
My name is ○○○, and I will be working with you as a team from today.
After a long career in banking, I am faced with another important opportunity in a new place, and it is a great honor and a great responsibility to be part of a team with such wonderful colleagues like you.
Over the course of my career, I have gained a wide range of experience in various branches, and I hope that these experiences in different environments and tasks will bring new fruitfulness to this branch. I know that Branch ○○ has always been a model for other branches in terms of customer service and sales performance, and has been a source of pride for many people.
I am deeply grateful that these great traditions and achievements are not the result of the efforts of just a few people, but rather the passion and hard work of all of you, including my seniors, who have been tirelessly dedicated to the development of Branch ○○. I believe that your enthusiasm and strong financial spirit are the most important assets of this branch.
I look forward to working with you not only as your branch manager, but also as your support and mentor. I will always provide a place for communication where you can freely share your opinions, and I will do my best to let each of you shine. I will also create an organizational culture where we can rely on each other in times of difficulty, share our opinions, and explore new ideas together. Such a creative and relaxed environment will be the foundation for us to achieve our goals.
Employees,
I believe that the goals we will pursue together are not just numerical achievements. I believe that gaining the trust of our customers and realizing true value based on our pride as a financial institution is the ultimate goal we are pursuing. To this end, I will work together with you to demonstrate our commitment and fulfill our responsibilities. We will work together to grow one step further in an atmosphere of mutual trust and support.
I will work together with all of you to further enhance the tradition and honor of the ○○ branch, and to make our branch an example for other branches to follow. I hope that all of our time together here will be worthwhile, and I ask you to help us achieve our best.
As I conclude my remarks, I promise to continue to work with you to reach new heights. I hope you will believe in me and bring your wisdom and abilities together. Let’s push forward for a glorious tomorrow for all of us.
Thank you.
Example branch manager inauguration speech
Hello, my name is ○○○, and I am the new branch manager of ○○.
I joined ○○ in ○○ in ○○ and have been working in the Strategic Planning Office of the head office since I first started as a new employee. It is a special feeling to return to this place, which is like my hometown, now. I’m looking forward to the road ahead with you all.
First and foremost, I would like to thank my predecessor for his wisdom and guidance. I will never forget the efforts he made for the development of ○○ Branch with his balanced judgment. This year will be a particularly meaningful year as ○○ Branch celebrates its 10th anniversary. I vow to fulfill my duties so that the sweat and hard work you have put in so far will not be in vain.
The experience and know-how I have gained from my work in strategic planning at the head office will now be put to use here, at the ○○ branch. I will do my best to create a service that exceeds our customers’ expectations, and even create a service that they will be enthusiastic about. To do this, we must listen to our customers’ true needs and provide them with more than they expect.
So, how do we make a real impression on our customers? It’s not just about fulfilling what they ask for, it’s about reaching out to them before they ask for it and delivering value beyond their expectations. We need to “act first and stay one step ahead” so that our customers are surprised, delighted, and come back for more.
Key action strategy: Commitment to the customer
We need to make a commitment to do the little things for one customer, starting right now, starting with me. A small smile and consideration from one person will lead to great satisfaction, and that will be the reputation of our ○○ branch. If all of you take this resolve to heart and sincerely serve each and every one of our customers, our branch will surely become the first place customers come to.
To navigate the waves of endless competition, we need to go beyond mere consciousness reform and make practical changes. It requires a relentless approach to customer satisfaction, differentiated services, and an attitude that is not afraid of change. Rather than rushing to the top, we need to take one step now, one step today, and one step in the future, and before we know it, we will be at the top of customer satisfaction.
Let’s reach the top with determination and confidence
What we need is a firm goal and confidence. Through persistence and hard work, let’s challenge ourselves to reach the highest heights we can reach. I ask all employees to pull together in their respective positions. Together, we will surely achieve our goals.
To conclude my brief remarks, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your enthusiastic welcome and support. We will continue to move forward with great strength. Thank you.
Inaugural remarks from the Postmaster General
Good afternoon.
I’m very excited to stand here today as the first postmaster general of the ○○ Postal Service, and I feel a great sense of responsibility. I’m excited about the future of the Postal Service, and I feel a great sense of responsibility. As your new Postmaster General, I want to share with you my commitment.
It’s been said that no human organization is without problems. It’s how you solve those problems that matters. I want the Postal Service to be an organization where we communicate as a community, trust each other, and grow together. To that end, I will work to minimize conflict in the organization by promoting multiple channels of communication. I plan to hold regular weekly conversations with union stewards and will be available to communicate whenever needed.
I will prioritize listening to you, the employees, first and foremost. To that end, I will create an anonymous feedback board on my personal homepage to ensure that all voices are heard and not buried in the minority. I will also make time to get out in the field and listen to you on a monthly basis to understand exactly what you’re experiencing in the workplace and where we can improve.
As someone who has been in the trenches, I understand the stressors of working in the Postal Service better than anyone else. Performance pressure is a big stressor, and I think we need to do something about it. Ideally, we’d like to create a stress-free work environment, but we recognize that it’s difficult to completely eliminate stress in the real world. I know that many of you are feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to sell insurance, and while we don’t have an immediate answer to that problem, we’ll continue to work with you to find ways to improve.
Some of you have also raised the question of whether government employees should be required to purchase insurance in the first place. I recognize that this is not an easy question to answer, but I promise to be proactive in helping employees with their career paths if they are struggling with performance pressure. In addition, we want you to be able to enjoy your work, so we’ll give you the freedom to set your own goals, but we’ll also give you incentives based on your achievements, which will be reflected in your evaluations to keep you motivated.
Another thing I would like to emphasize is that I would like to ask the older members of the organization to play a role in setting an example for the younger ones. I believe that in order for an organization to change and evolve, the older employees, including myself, must change first, and I ask the older employees to take more responsibility for helping younger employees reach their potential and for creating an organizational culture that is a great place to work.
Dear employees,
I don’t have much retirement age left, but I promise that I will not waste the time I have left, and I will do my best to develop the ○○Postal Service for the better. I’ll spend the first month getting to know the organization, listening to your voices and taking a comprehensive look at your work environment, and then I’ll provide an overall operational plan and direction that will help our Postal Service grow into a stronger community.
While we are not a policy department, we can create opportunities for organizational improvement in the planning and execution of our work. Let’s work together to create a ○○ Postal Service where organizational development and individual growth are in harmony. I sincerely hope that we will become a better ○○ Postal Service in the future.
Sample inaugural speech
Good morning, everyone.
It’s been a while since the Chinese New Year, which heralds the beginning of spring, but the weather is still chilly and the wind is cold under the excuse of spring rains, but a few days from now, when April arrives, the weather will be warmer and more welcoming. We are waiting for that day, and like a warm spring day, we are hopeful for the changes and developments that will unfold.
While we may not feel it yet, the markets are already showing signs of spring. This weekend, even if you’re busy, why not head out to the market and prepare an energizing meal with colorful spring greens? Spring means new beginnings, and it should bring us hope and renewal.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the members of the ○○ Institute family and guests who are here today to celebrate my inauguration. In particular, I would like to express my deepest respect to the employees who have dedicated themselves to making ○○ Research Institute what it is today and to the development of Korea’s machinery industry over the past 35 years. Thanks to your hard work and dedication, the institute has been able to reach its current position.
I am deeply honored to be inaugurated as the 15th President of the institute today and to be part of your family, and I feel a great responsibility and mission to develop the institute.
The world is facing crises like we have never seen before, including climate change and energy challenges, and growing uncertainty in the global economy. The once seemingly eternal economic powerhouse, the United States, is reeling from a financial crisis, and the world’s largest economy, the Eurozone, is struggling. Our economy, which is heavily dependent on overseas markets, cannot escape the effects. In addition, patent wars between multinational companies in Korea and abroad are becoming increasingly fierce, and competition in the field of intellectual property rights has long since become a necessity for survival.
Changes in the environment surrounding government-funded research organizations are also challenging us and demanding innovation. Our role in this transition is even more important, and we will create new opportunities for ourselves. I believe that the key to these opportunities is excellence and continuous innovation in our areas of responsibility.
Our skills, experience, and passion are already world-class, and we have the capabilities to be recognized anywhere, but now, my friends, it’s time to build on them and take on new challenges. I am proud of the fact that ○○ Research Institute has been leading the mechanical field in Korea and abroad for the past 35 years, and we need to build on this to further develop our institute into a world-class organization.
I will always be with you, listen to the voices on the ground, and hear your stories first. Each step we take together will be a solid cornerstone of Korea’s scientific powerhouse and a key to unlocking the future. I ask you to do your best in your respective positions with pride and conviction. Together, we will move toward greater goals.
Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for joining us here today.
Thank you.
Sample inaugural address
Only unity will save us.
Dear comrades and friends of the ○○○ Trade Union, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to join us today to celebrate the momentous inauguration of the ○○○’s new chairman.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to you, the members of the union, who have been with us all along the way, and without whose support and interest this day would not have been possible. I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again to you, the members of the union, who have protected the union with your enthusiastic support, encouragement, and sometimes even a stern whip. It is with such affection and a deep sense of responsibility that I take on the role of the next chairperson.
Today, as I take office as the first chairperson of the union, I stand here not with joy and honor, but with a heavy sense of responsibility and the beginning of a trial. Just as our path has not always been smooth, we may face many difficulties in the future, but I promise that I will not be discouraged, that I will work harder as my responsibilities increase, and that I will do my best to develop the union and advance the rights and interests of workers.
As I said in my election campaign, I will focus all my efforts on building a strong and autonomous ○○○ trade union. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the three candidates who competed in good faith with me in this election. We will unite and embrace each other, and join hands to improve the welfare and rights of workers. We will cooperate and work together with an open mind, because we are all moving towards the same goal.
It is time to move beyond the era of struggle and conflict and into the power of flexibility and unity, because a union without workers’ participation will never stand. Only when workers are truly united can the way open for all of us. Let’s build a clean and transparent union with the mindset of uprooting rotten old trees and planting fresh, green trees in their place. We must become one big tree, a strong and sturdy union, to defend our rights and our future.
Unity is the only way to live and the only way for ○○○ to develop. A trade union is an organization that represents the voice of workers and bears their pain and suffering. I and the ○○○ Labor Union will never seek personal honor or profit, but will only do our best to improve the quality of your life and achieve a good life for workers.
I hope that today’s inauguration will be a new starting point for all of us to build an independent and powerful labor union. For the next leap forward, let us all work together, body and soul, to create a hopeful tomorrow. For the bright future of the union, I ask you to take more responsibility in your respective positions, encourage each other, cooperate, and work together.
In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the union members and guests who have joined us today. We hope that you will continue to give us your unwavering support and cooperation, and guide us with your warm encouragement and teaching. I would like to conclude my inaugural remarks by sincerely wishing you all good health and happiness in your homes.
Thank you very much.
Principal’s Inauguration Principal’s Season’s Greetings
Hello, everyone, it’s a great pleasure to be here with you.
It’s especially fitting that we are all here together at this time of year when fall is in full swing. The days are getting a little chilly, both morning and evening. I’d like to thank everyone for braving the slight chill in the air to be here this morning.
We are here today not only to celebrate my inauguration, but also to commemorate the new beginning we will have together. Before the inauguration, I am very happy to celebrate Hangeul Day, which reminds us of the importance of our language. Hangeul was created by King Sejong the Great with the hope of making it easier for all people to learn to write and communicate, and thanks to it, we can share our hearts and minds freely today. With this deep significance of Hangeul in my heart, I will continue to create an educational environment where students can freely express their thoughts and dreams in our school.
I started my teaching career at ○○ Elementary School and have held various roles in the school staff. With my experience in education, I would like to work with you to further develop ○○ Elementary School and make it a vibrant and meaningful place of learning.
I believe that the true power of education is unleashed when we respect each other and work together, which is a common emphasis in highly educated countries. Education is at its best when students, teachers, and parents respect each other’s roles and listen to each other. I will always be available to listen to you and welcome your ideas and enthusiasm.
The goals we have to achieve together are clear. I promise to communicate frequently with you, build trust, and create a happy school where our students can grow to become active members of tomorrow’s society. With the warm interest and cooperation of parents, our school will make even greater progress.
There is a saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together”. We, ○○ Elementary School, as an educational community, will accompany our students on a long journey to a bright future. Let’s work together to help our children grow into talented people for the global era.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the previous principal and all the staff members who have supported me in this position. I am also deeply grateful to my family for their understanding and support. I look forward to the further development of ○○ Elementary School with the cooperation and trust of all of you, and I would like to thank you all once again for being here today.
Thank you.
Alumni President Inauguration Ceremony Alumni President Season’s Greetings
Good morning, everyone.
I am very honored and grateful to be here today, and even more so as we are about to celebrate Hangeul Day. Hangeul, the language we use every day, is a precious asset that encapsulates the culture and spirit of our nation. Today, everyone can easily learn and use Hangeul, but at the time of its creation, there was no written language to capture the language and thoughts of the people. It was difficult for the common people, not the ruling class, to learn Chinese characters and hanja, which limited communication through written language. King Sejong the Great created Hangeul to provide a written language that all people could easily learn and use, and we now have the opportunity to fully communicate.
Hangeul is the root of our culture and has played an important role in building the foundation of Korea. Today, we take this opportunity to reflect on the value of Hangeul and to express our gratitude to our ancestors for their efforts in creating and protecting it. In this legacy, we realize that our alumni association also carries on our identity and values.
Dear Alumni!
We, ○○ Elementary School, have produced many talented individuals over the years, and because of them, we have a strong place in the community today. The history of our alumni association is more than just meeting and gathering, it is a history of supporting each other’s growth and joining hands for the betterment of our alma mater. As I stand here today, I am reminded of how important each and every one of you is to our alumni, and how your collective strength has driven our alumni association forward. You are the owners of our Alumni Association, and your voluntary participation is the foundation of our organization.
I am now taking a new step with you as Alumni President. I promise to do my best to build on the foundation laid by my predecessors, to add new growth, and to ensure that our alumni organization continues to thrive. These two letters, alumni, hold a very special meaning to me. In our social lives, sometimes relationships can become entangled with interests, but ours are bound together by pure friendship and affection. We continue to support each other to this day for the sole reason that we built our childhood memories together.
My dear fellow alumni, I fervently want our alumni association to be a place of support, encouragement, and warmth. To this end, I will do my best to continue the projects and activities promoted by the previous presidents, to further revitalize alumni activities, and to provide a place for all members to share their hearts and communicate with each other. I will strive to make our alumni association a bigger one, and to be a strong support for each other.
Proud ○○ Elementary School Alumni Family!
We ○○ people are indeed a very appreciative and caring group of people, and I am encouraged by this position. I believe that it is only because of your interest and cooperation that the Alumni Association has been dedicated to the development of our alma mater and the community through unity and fellowship. Now, I will do my best to work with you for uninterrupted development. I promise to serve you and contribute to the development of the Alumni Association with respect, love, service and dedication. I also promise to promote unity among alumni and to continue various activities that will benefit our alma mater and the community.
I look forward to walking with you on the Alumni Association’s journey ahead and expanding the culture of warm friendship and sharing. I will do my utmost to serve the Alumni Association during my term of office. Thank you.
Alumni Association Inaugural Message
Good morning, esteemed alumni!
As March begins, spring is slowly creeping in. Perhaps it is the time of year when our hearts blossom anew as we welcome the warm spring breeze after the cold air of winter, and I am so pleased and grateful that we, the alumni, have the opportunity to gather together to share the warmth of our hearts and encourage each other during this time of year, no matter how challenging our lives have been.
Looking back, we all spent our childhoods here together, nurturing our dreams, and now we are living our lives in our respective places, realizing those dreams. I believe that the strength of those years has made us who we are today, and has provided the impetus for us to come together as alumni. Our paths may have taken us down different paths, but the memories we made together will always be cherished, and we are thrilled to reconnect with those of you who share these same memories.
Our reunions are about more than just reminiscing about old times. It’s a reminder that it’s our alumni who support each other, who are there to cheer us on at every bend in the road, and that’s why I don’t see the role of alumni president as an honor, but as an opportunity to serve you and the alumni association. It is a great honor and a tremendous responsibility for me to stand here today, and I will do my best to live up to your trust.
Among my fellow classmates, there are so many people of great learning and character, who have excelled in their respective fields and have established themselves successfully. It is a great responsibility and honor for me to take on the role of president among these people, and I think it is my desire to do my best for the alumni association that has brought me to this position.
In the future, I will try to be a communicative president who listens to the opinions of seniors, classmates, and juniors rather than making unilateral decisions in leading the alumni association. If I make a mistake or go down the wrong path due to my lack of knowledge, please feel free to criticize and correct me. Your continued support and interest will be a great foundation for the development of the alumni association.
Finally, the ○○ Elementary School Alumni Association is not just a gathering; it is a precious space that contains our innocent dreams and passions, and it is like another family to us. We will continue to develop this precious relationship and make our alumni association richer and more meaningful across generations and time. I hope that we will always be a supportive alumni association, and I will continue to work hard to make sure that we can meet again next year and create a place full of laughter.
I wish you all good health and happiness, and promise you that I will do my utmost to ensure the infinite development of the ○○ Elementary School Alumni Association. I will always be by your side.
Thank you.
Alumni President Inauguration Seasonal Greetings from the Alumni President
Hello everyone!
We’ve already crossed the threshold into December. Time is flying by, as if we’re being chased by someone. One day goes by without a care in the world, and before you know it, a week has passed, a month has passed, and the days that come together make up a year. As we approach the end of the year, we can’t help but reflect on the time that has passed.
How has the year been for you? Has it been long and boring, or has it left you with a lot to look forward to? We’ve all worked hard and toiled in our respective positions. Days together add up to months, and months add up to years. Now, let’s cherish the time we have left and end the year on a high note. May we end the year with the wisdom to fill in the gaps and prepare for the next year.
I am ○○○, your new president for the year 20○○, having just been introduced by my predecessor. I feel a heavy burden on my shoulders as I stand in this position, but your trust and support gives me the courage to move forward. In fact, there are many gatherings in life, both large and small. There are gatherings with colleagues at work, hobby clubs, time with family members, and so on, but none of them are as special as our alumni association.
Our alumni association is much more than just a social gathering; it is a place where we can feel at home in the midst of the harsh realities of life, and where we can reminisce about the innocent memories of our childhood. For me, the alumni association is not just a place to reminisce about the past, but a precious haven that always gives me warmth, comfort, and encouragement. That is why I feel a special sense of responsibility as president. I want to make sure that the Alumni Association of ○○ Elementary School protects this hometown warmth and makes it a cherished space that all alumni want to return to.
We are about to embark on a new beginning with great hope and excitement, and I am honored to be standing here today as we take the first steps toward our reunion, and I am grateful to be able to work with you to write a new chapter in the history of our alumni association.
Like the past presidents and senior officers who have come before me, I will take the lead on a variety of tasks to improve the alumni association and the school. We will work together to grow and develop the alumni association. Of course, my efforts alone will not be enough to accomplish all of our goals. Only with your support and participation will we be able to make greater strides and create new changes.
With your help, I’ll do my best to make this year’s reunion even better than this year’s – a reunion that always feels like a warm home away from home, a reunion where memories are shared and new ones are made.
Thank you for listening until the end. We hope you will continue to support the Alumni Association and give us your unwavering love. Thank you.
Greetings from the Alumni Association President
Honored alumni of ○○ Elementary School!
The year 20○○ is coming to an end. Looking back, when I was younger, I was bored of the daily routine and the days seemed long, but now I realize that time is precious and I don’t want to miss a single moment. The years seem so short in the memories of the people you love, and the time you spend alone seems long and heavy. I wish you all a day that feels precious and meaningful.
As I approach the age of forty, I have come to reflect on the time that has passed, and with regret for the days that have gone by, I have renewed my commitment to the time to come. Rather than regretting the years that have passed, I would like to spend the time ahead without regret and share more meaningful time with my fellow alumni.
Friends are the most reliable companions we meet on our journey through life. Alumni and friends are umbrellas in the rain, lanterns to light the way in the dark night, and a home away from home that wraps around us like a mother’s embrace when we are feeling hard and lonely. As we lead our own busy lives in the midst of fierce competition, it’s easy to miss those friends we can lean on.
Especially when you’re the head of the household, you realize that you have less and less to lean on. The responsibility to be a strong person in front of our families and a strong person in society seems to be growing, and what we need most are friends we can confide in. Alumni are those friends, and they are always there to support us.
I realize that I am inadequate in many ways, and it is a great responsibility to take on the role of Alumni President. However, I promise that I will do my best to fulfill the trust you have placed in me. I know I can’t do it alone, but with your deep interest and active participation, our alumni association will become a more united organization, and that unity will be an asset to all of us.
Honored alumni!
No matter how busy and difficult life gets, let’s continue to grow together and be proud of who we are, no matter how much we have to do. The fact that we are here today means a lot, and it will be the beginning of us being able to support each other and move forward together.
In closing, I would like to extend my sincere wishes for good health and happiness to all of our guests and alumni who have taken the time out of their busy schedules to join us. May we all continue to be a source of strength and support for each other, and may your homes always be filled with happiness and peace.
Thank you.
Branch Manager Inauguration Speech
Hello, I’m Mr. ○○○, who will be the new branch manager of the ○○ branch starting today. First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your warm welcome. Thanks to you, I feel more comfortable in my new environment.
In fact, I spent a long time at the head office and am relatively inexperienced in branch work, so I had many worries and concerns when I received this assignment. However, after looking around the branch and seeing your bright faces, I feel that I can work with you with a sense of security and comfort. I will do my best with your help in the future, and I wish you all the best.
I would like to take this opportunity to convey to you the values and tenets that are important to me in my work. My life credo is “Let’s work creatively”. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut and miss opportunities for innovation, but creativity comes from thinking outside the box and trying to find a better way to do things, even if you’re doing the same thing every day.
Let me tell you a story: In the 1930s, there was a young artist in Kansas City, USA, who went to newspapers to sell his paintings, but was often rejected and sometimes ignored. Nevertheless, he didn’t give up on his dream and continued to develop his work. Eventually, a church minister gave him room and board in exchange for flyers, and a mouse that often appeared in his room captured his imagination and became Mickey Mouse, a character beloved by people around the world today. That young artist was Walt Disney. This story illustrates how our lives and work can change depending on what we look at and how we look at it.
In today’s rapidly changing marketplace and the pace of technological advancement, we are constantly faced with new challenges. Only by creating innovative products and services can we survive the fierce global competition. Creativity isn’t just about creating something that doesn’t exist, it’s about combining existing knowledge and information to create new value.
It’s especially important that everyone in the organization is able to unleash their creativity. We want to create an atmosphere where we can freely share knowledge and information with each other and communicate with each other so that we can unleash our individual creativity. Before I emphasize creativity to you as a branch manager, I will focus more on creating the conditions for you to freely share and apply your creative thoughts.
To this end, I plan to set up an internal break room, where I will regularly hold conversations with you. We will revitalize internal communication by sharing our thoughts in a relaxed space, discussing ideas for improving our work, and giving each other advice. I believe that this time of communication will make a significant contribution to improving the performance of our branch.
I have high expectations for you in the future. I will do my best to meet your expectations, and we will strive to become a ○○ branch that grows and achieves its goals together. I look forward to your active participation and cooperation, and with that, I would like to conclude my brief remarks. Thank you.
Branch manager’s inaugural speech
Hello, everyone. My name is ○○○.
I am the new branch manager of the ○○ branch, succeeding Mr. ○○○. I am very happy to have this opportunity to work with you, and I also feel a great sense of responsibility. I look forward to serving you well.
I’ve heard that you, the previous branch manager of our ○○ branch, was a great leader who did an outstanding job at ○○○○. I believe that the strong foundation you laid is the reason why Branch ○○ has become what it is today. I will continue to build on your achievements and strive to move in a better direction. I feel very fortunate and responsible to be in this position.
As I looked around our office, I realized that while ○○○○ is strong, there are some areas that could be improved. I’ve been thinking about how we can better organize the way we operate, how we achieve our goals, and how we can maximize our performance. I plan to focus on improving ○○○○ so that we can grow more efficiently, so that we can create an optimal environment for you to focus on your work.
Seeing your smiling faces and energetic vibes makes me even more excited for our time together here. Seeing everyone in our branch cooperate and work hard together gives me more motivation and energy. I know that each of you has a great deal to contribute to the development of the branch, and I will do my best to support your efforts.
I will do my best to make sure that our ○○ branch is the highest performing branch among all branches, and that it is the number one place where all employees want to work. I will be a leader who listens to each of you, communicates with you, and works together with you. If you have any difficulties or suggestions for improvement, please feel free to tell me. I want to lead the development of the branch based on communication and cooperation.
With everyone working together, I am confident that we are well on our way to achieving these goals in the near future. Let’s continue to work hard and move forward together. I wish you well.
Thank you very much.
Branch President’s Inaugural Address
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to you, our esteemed members, and to the distinguished guests who have taken the time to grace this occasion. Today, I am deeply honored and humbled to take on the enormous responsibility of being the ○th President of the chapter with your support. I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm that I will faithfully fulfill the duties entrusted to me by the members of the chapter, and that I will dedicate myself to the development and unity of our chapter.
Our chapter has a long history as the birthplace of Korean photography, and it has been built up through the dedicated efforts of our wonderful chapter presidents and members. Inheriting these traditions and values, I will do everything I can to lead our chapter to new heights. I will also strive to further solidify our chapter’s identity to become a chapter that grows together and a center of photography culture recognized by all.
Dear friends, I would like to share with you a few priorities for the future of our chapter.
First, create an atmosphere of communication and harmony
I will transform the office into a loving space where all members feel comfortable visiting. I will open up the chapter office so that it is not my personal space, but a place where members can come and go and interact with each other. This is where in-depth conversations about photography can take place, information can be shared, and all members can feel comfortable. I will also overhaul the education room so that it is a place where anyone can come and learn and discuss photography. I will make our chapter a place where everyone feels comfortable and wants to come.
Second, improve business efficiency
In order to ensure that the various projects of our chapter are run in an organized manner, we will further organize the work of our vice presidents and secretaries. We will clearly identify their roles and thoroughly manage their work from planning to execution and follow-up to improve the efficiency and completeness of our projects. In this way, we will strive to ensure that the functions of each department are organically combined and synergized.
Third, building cultural infrastructure with local communities
In order to become the leading photography chapter in the local community, we will promote a variety of cultural programs in conjunction with the local community. We will activate our website to provide a space where anyone can easily access photography by opening a cyber exhibition hall, a photography education library, and a Photoshop classroom. In addition, we will provide a place to share basic knowledge and skills about photography through photography classes to provide learning opportunities for those who want to learn photography. This will make our chapter a true photography cultural center for the local community.
Fourth, revolutionize the photography event paradigm
We will strive to develop photography events into cultural festivals that are closely connected to the local community, rather than just events. We will plan in-depth photography events by running long-term, thematic programs rather than short-term events, and create a place where local residents can participate and enjoy photography together. We will strive to grow our region into a center for photography culture.
Finally, transparency and trust among members
We will be transparent and fair in all our business and budget execution. We will accurately report all budget and business matters to our members, and create a chapter that they can trust. We will also emphasize civility and trust among our members, creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. We ask for your support and cooperation.
Dear members, our chapter will continue to grow with your love and dedication, so please stay with us and stay tuned.
Thank you, my dear and honored members.
Inaugural speech by the principal of ○○○ Elementary School
Good morning, everyone.
It is a great pleasure to be here with you today. I am Mr. ○○○, the new principal of ○○○ Elementary School.
It is a great honor to be here today, amidst such a warm welcome, and I feel a great sense of responsibility. I would like to thank all the students, parents, and teachers here today.
I have only one goal in running this school. It is to create a school where our students enjoy coming to school and want to come to school themselves, and I promise to do everything in my power to achieve this goal.
As a student myself, I have many fond memories of my time at school. The memories of running around the playground with my friends, splashing in the creek, and playing in the fields have stood the test of time. These emotional experiences have shaped the values I hold dear in school today: I want to help students build memories and experiences that live on in their lives, not just the knowledge they learn in school.
However, today’s students are growing up in a time of overwhelming academic pressure. It’s heartbreaking to see the excessive learning fever and pressure to excel starting as early as elementary school. This academic pressure can stifle children’s autonomy and creativity. I’m going to focus on creating an environment where children can find joy in learning and be self-motivated. Rather than pushing them to learn, I’m going to think about how to get them to want to learn.
Like the story of the Sun and the Wind, which you may be familiar with, I want to approach our students not as a forceful presence like the wind, but as a warm and gentle presence like the sun. My goal is to create a space where students are willing to open their minds and realize their potential, so that our school can be a solid starting point for their future.
I will also listen to the opinions of parents in order to improve our school. A school is a community of students, parents, and teachers, and I will humbly accept their valuable advice and opinions and incorporate them into our school operations as much as possible to make school life more vibrant and enriching.
The future of our country depends on our students. I believe that it is an important role of our educators to create an environment where students can enjoy learning, find themselves, and grow in a healthy way. I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm my commitment to instill light in the hearts of our students and strive to create a school where they can realize their unlimited possibilities.
In closing, I would like to thank you all once again for your welcome, and I will continue to move forward as one as you have placed your trust in me.
Thank you for listening.
Inaugural Alumni President’s Remarks
Good morning, alumni.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the alumni who were willing to take time out of their busy schedules to attend this inaugural ceremony. I would also like to extend a special thank you and welcome to the alumni who have traveled a long way to be here today, and to the youngest alumni who are joining us for the first time. Your presence here today makes this occasion all the more meaningful and heartwarming.
Today is a very emotional day for me as well, as it marks the opening of another chapter of precious memories in my life. As I take on the enormous responsibility of being the Alumni President, I am filled with anticipation and excitement, but also with worries of “Will I be able to do a good job?” However, with the encouragement and faith of our alumni and the active cooperation of our juniors, I am confident that I will be able to lead the Alumni Association to live up to expectations.
We are a community of alumni who share the same roots, and from the moment this community was launched as the Alumni Association, we were all in the same boat, sailing in the same direction. Although there may be rough seas ahead, or hardships and adversity may lie ahead of us, I believe that as long as we support each other and pull together, we will wisely overcome all difficulties together. If we continue this voyage joyfully, we will one day be able to share the fruits of the great development and prosperity of the alumni association.
Dear fellow alumni!
As president, I honor the invaluable legacy and tradition that our past presidents have built, and I will do my best to build on their accomplishments. Change is important, but sometimes it can be even more valuable to continue cherished traditions beyond change. By balancing tradition and change, I will continue to explore and implement new ways to improve the Alumni Association.
And most importantly, I deeply recognize the importance of communication. I will create a variety of communication venues for seniors and juniors to share their experiences and wisdom, and for juniors to feel closer to their seniors. I will strive to make the Alumni Association a bridge between generations, so that juniors can hear more stories from seniors, and seniors can offer encouragement and advice to juniors.
My goals are not grandiose dreams; they are small steps to make a big difference, and I need your support and participation to keep the Alumni Association strong and growing. As always, please let me know if I’m missing something or if there’s a better way forward. I believe that with the valuable advice and support of each and every one of you, the future of the Alumni Association will shine brightly.
Dear Alumni,
I would like to conclude my inaugural address by wishing you health, happiness, and glory in your future endeavors. I look forward to your continued interest and support. Thank you.
Inaugural Address by Deputy Minister of Finance
Dear MOF family!
I am back in your arms again, 11 months after I left as the secretary of the Office of the President for National Policy Affairs with the inauguration of the Lee Myung-bak administration. It is a great honor and good fortune for me to return to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, where I have been a public servant, and to work with you again. Although I am a weak person, I will do my best to faithfully support the president’s national philosophy, serve the minister, and dedicate myself to you and your new life.
The year 20○○ is the most important year for us.
In the midst of the unprecedented global economic crisis, Korea must be the first to overcome this difficulty. Not only that, but it is time for all of us to work together and use this crisis as an opportunity to make a leap forward and become an advanced first-class country. I am proud to be a member of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, which is at the forefront of taking on such responsibilities, and I feel an infinite sense of responsibility. I know that you are working tirelessly from dawn to dusk, sometimes even on weekends. Now is the time for each of us to think deeply about what we need to do and where we need to go, as many people are suffering from job losses in the economy.
Dear family members of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance!
If I can throw myself into the service of the country and its people and contribute to overcoming the crisis and building a proud Korea that will be the envy of the world, there is nothing more rewarding than that. I remember the 1997 foreign exchange crisis as the most rewarding moment of my nearly 30 years of public service. How we respond to this crisis could be the defining moment that propels our country to the forefront of the world’s advanced economies. This is the mission of the hour, and I believe that is what Mr. President expects from us.
We should take great pride and responsibility in being the leaders of Korea’s future, with you at the helm. We have a history of taking the center stage, stabilizing the economy, and gaining the trust of the people whenever the country has faced difficulties in the past. Now, we must fulfill our responsibilities today so that we can remain as proud seniors to our juniors, just like those proud seniors.
Proud family of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance!
I would like to make a few requests to you to fulfill the great task of overcoming the crisis and advancing Korea.
First, “Trust.
No policy can succeed without the trust of the people. We must be a MAS that is trusted by the people and the market, and all our policies must have a positive impact on the people and the market. When the MAS builds trust with sincerity and consistency in the real, financial, and foreign exchange markets, the people and the market will believe in us, and the forces will work synergistically to achieve remarkable results. Especially in today’s uncertain economic environment, policies based on trust are the only way to quickly overcome the crisis and achieve a new leap forward.
Governments must be the compass for their people when they cannot find their way through the pain. It must be the protector that people can lean on. When the market is dysfunctional and unstable, the government must diagnose the exact cause, quickly propose solutions, and remove obstacles. This is why the Ministry of Strategy and Finance must be a ministry that is trusted by both the public and the market.
Second, “teamwork.
It is time for all ministries and departments to work together to overcome the crisis. We need to go beyond ‘departments’ and ‘bureaus’ and work closely with other ministries. As the eldest sibling of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, we need to strengthen teamwork with both internal and external opinions. Sometimes we need to have free discussions, sometimes we need to put our heads together with external experts and find bold and creative solutions. Through such cooperation, we will be the first to find the most effective solutions.
In closing, I’d like to share with you my commitment: Commitment, Presence, and Speed.
First, Commitment: I will do this as if it were my last, and I will give it my all. Normally, I believe in “Work Smart,” but the current crisis demands more than that. Business as usual will not solve the challenges facing our people today. I will work with you with creative thinking and a warm heart, going beyond conventional methods.
Next up is “the field. Our policies don’t end at our desks, but we will always be on the ground to ensure that they make a real difference in the lives of the people. Checking the effectiveness of our policies, making improvements where necessary, and identifying problems and proposing solutions is the way to build the trust of the people. We will fulfill our role by listening to the voices of the people on the ground and watching how key policies such as fiscal execution and job creation are progressing.
And finally, speed. The challenges ahead of us are highly variable and unstructured, which is why immediate response and execution are more important than ever. It’s time to fast-track our prepared contingency plans and speed up our response to crisis situations. Policy success depends on speed and requires immediate action and foresight. We will need every minute of it.
Dear Ministry of Strategy and Finance family,
The task entrusted to us is not an easy one, but together with the Minister and you, we can overcome this crisis. Every crisis has an end, and just as a warm spring comes after a cold winter, we will be able to go beyond this hardship together with the people. Let’s work together to make sure that the Ministry of Strategy and Finance stands tall on the day when the whole country welcomes a bright spring and Korea leaps to the top of the developed world. Thank you.
