Inaugural Presidential Season’s Greetings

It’s springtime in May, the time of year when we say and hear the word “beginning” the most.
We start and take on many things in our lives. New beginnings are always accompanied by excitement and nervousness. While these two emotions seem to be opposites, they are actually important driving forces that propel us forward. We all feel anxious and sometimes scared about the path we choose when faced with a fresh start, but these feelings ultimately drive us to take the first step toward a better outcome.
In that sense, spring is a season of beginnings. It’s a season of budding life, and with nature’s changes, we must also move forward with new challenges.
I can’t guarantee that you will lose nothing or that you will lose a little and gain a lot, but I do believe that you will gain some of life’s most precious values from this challenge. Challenges are always more about the experience and growth you gain along the way than the outcome, so I wish you all the best in your endeavors and cherish what you gain from them. I hope you will keep the things you learn from your challenges close to your hearts and never forget them.
I, too, am here to take on a new challenge, and I hope that my challenge is one that makes the year meaningful. A new role brings joy and excitement, but also responsibility and challenges. I feel a tremendous sense of responsibility and mission to be the new key holder of the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute. The path we have taken as an institute and the achievements we have made are a source of pride for all of us, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have supported me in reaching this position.
Today, as we remember this moment, I would like to share a great meaning with you, which means that we will work together to lead the way with the passion of research so that Korea’s culture and tourism can remain a dignified and proud nation, not only in the present, but also in the future and for generations to come. Culture and tourism are important factors that determine the quality of our lives, and they are more than just leisure and relaxation; they are key drivers of a country’s identity to the world and create economic value.
Every person has their own characteristics and strengths. I want to find those strengths in each and every one of you. There is a wealth of talent and passion within our organization. Finding and nurturing them will lead to more than just personal growth, it will lead to the development of our organization as a whole. To that end, I encourage you to come up with great ideas and share them with us. Your small input can make a big difference. Let’s work together to ensure that every research report produced by our researchers is of the highest qualitative and quantitative excellence and establishes not only academic authority but also policy impact.
I believe that if we work together, we can establish ourselves as the world’s leading cultural tourism research organization, a task that can only be accomplished by an organization with a dream and a vision. I believe that all of this should be exciting and happy. Our workplace should be more than just a place to do work, but a place where we can have fun and grow, where research is rewarding, and where we can realize personal, family, and organizational happiness together.
In addition to this, I would like to emphasize the concept of sustainable development: culture and tourism is an area that cannot be evaluated as a temporary achievement. Our work must be focused on preserving and expanding cultural heritage and tourism resources for future generations to enjoy, not just solving current problems. Realizing this vision requires a collective effort from all of us. I believe that the small victories we focus on today will pay off in the long run for our descendants.
So, starting today, let’s write the first pages of a new history that we will all make together. You are not just researchers in this process, you are leaders in your own right. Your passion and dedication will shape the future of our lab. We are all here for a reason, and it’s no accident. Let’s dream together and build together.
Finally, I’d like to thank everyone who organized today’s inauguration and those who attended. Without your support, I would not be here today.
Together, let’s make history to further enhance Korea’s culture, tourism, and our lives. Thank you.

Inauguration Season’s Greetings

How are you?
It seems like just yesterday we were looking at the cherry blossom leaves in May, and now we’re already halfway through the year. The calendar has already flipped to July. This summer has been unusually rainy, and there has been talk of drought here and there. Thankfully, we’ve had some late July rains to moisten the ground.
The winds that are blowing right now are sticky with moisture, which might not be overly pleasant. But it’s comforting to think that this stickiness could be someone else’s sweet, sweet rain. As nature changes, so do our lives, and hopefully, we can find meaning and reward in the midst of the sometimes drudgery. It’s a July day, with the cool breeze of early summer in the air.
Today, I feel a great sense of responsibility and mission as the new key holder of the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute. Standing in this position, the achievements of the institute so far seem to shine even brighter, and I feel that we should build on them and move toward higher goals. I sincerely appreciate the hard work and passion that the institute has accumulated as a research organization, and I am deeply grateful for your support in allowing me to take on this role at such a critical time for culture and tourism.
As I take office today, I would like to share with you, first and foremost, a common goal: to help Korea’s culture and tourism remain a country of which we can be proud, not only today, but also in the near future and for generations to come. To establish the institute as a leading research and policy organization in creating a country of dignity, a country of stability and leisure, a country that the world wants to visit – that is a mission I believe we should share.
To that end, I invite you to add your thoughts and ideas to the development of our research organization. Each of your suggestions will be the cornerstone of turning our vision into reality, and I encourage each of you to quickly begin organizing multi-faceted meetings and conversations about your department’s research challenges. I have great faith in the extraordinary strengths and expertise of each and every one of our researchers. When they come together, we will be able to accomplish more than we can imagine.
Moreover, I would like to take this opportunity today to make one more suggestion to you. We are not just an institution that deals with research and policy; we must not forget that everything we do is directly related to raising the cultural profile of our country, driving sustainable development of the tourism industry, and improving the quality of life of our people. Therefore, I believe that our efforts must be driven by a belief and vision that goes beyond mere job duties.
I am confident that if you and I work together as one, we can make history by establishing ourselves as the world’s leading cultural tourism research organization. In the process of realizing this goal, we must not lose sight of our joy. Creating a workplace where the joy of work and the rewarding nature of research are in harmony, and where happiness for ourselves, our families, and our organization is realized, is the ideal we should strive for.
Finally, I would like to see KITI as an organization that is always open to dialogue, cooperation, and relationships. I want us to be known as an organization that works together to find alternatives when we come together, and immerses itself in research when we disperse. We need to inspire and empower each other.
So, starting today, let us declare the record of our exciting, happy, and meaningful policy research history. We are all ledgers as we realize this historic task together, and every moment we create along the way will be the foundation for a brilliant future for our Institute.
Thank you.

Presidential Season Greetings

Honorable fellow members and distinguished guests!
Today, the autumn rain is falling chillingly. Rather than fall rain, it’s probably the rain that heralds winter. Autumn is a particularly lonely season. How has your autumn been this year, and have you felt lonely?
Autumn rains make our hearts feel more lonely and empty than other seasons’ rains. But even if your heart is empty, don’t you need to fill your stomach? For lunch today, we hope you’ll warm up with some hot soup and cheer yourself up. The weather may be cold outside, but we hope your day is warm in your heart.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have taken the time out of your busy schedules to join us today.
Dear fellow members!
Our Marine Corps Association has come a long way thanks to your dedication and enthusiasm, and it is my honor to carry on the tradition and achievements of my predecessors as our 10th President.
To be honest, I can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed by the many accomplishments and changes that have been made by our past presidents, but in the spirit of the Marine Corps, “until it works” and the “all-weather spirit of the impossible,” I will do my best.
Just as the efforts of each and every one of our members have made the Marine Corps Association shine, we need the strength of each and every one of you.
As we look around us today, we see fierce global competition. We can’t afford to be left behind, and with the pride and spirit of the Marine Corps, it’s time to set our sights higher and work together to achieve them.
As we move forward, I will continue to build a new 10th executive team, build an organization that is filled with respect and love between seniors and juniors, further enhance our pride as a Marine Corps fraternal organization, and ensure that our progress and unity will serve as a springboard for the Marine Corps to rise to new heights.
I will lead the Korean American Association with a new attitude of creation and reform so that we can meet the expectations of our members. We need the interest and cooperation of all our members.

President’s Message at the Inauguration Ceremony

It’s another morning when I realize how fast time flies.
It’s already the fourth month of the year 20__, and the memories of the beginning of the year, when I had great plans, have faded away, and it’s that pathetic April time when I wonder what I’m really doing.
But I’ve always taken to heart the saying that it’s never too early to start thinking. I want you to remember that the next nine months are longer than the three months we’ve already spent, and I want you to get off to a good start.
I would like to thank you for your confidence in me as your President.
I’m not sure I can follow even half of what my predecessor has accomplished in the past two years, but it also makes me even more determined to fulfill my responsibilities.
I believe that our Korean-American organization has taken shape.
The number of Korean Americans in the Waterloo-Wellington area is estimated to be around 5,000 to 6,000, which is not a small community. In terms of activities, I think we are more active than any other Korean organization of our size.
It’s time for us to think about how to make our organization more organized and active, and how to develop it in the long term. I believe that we need to move in a direction where each member’s voice is heard and everyone feels a sense of belonging, not just grow in size. Given this situation, I would like to “build a foundation for strengthening the Korean American Association” during my term.
Here are some of the directions I would like to pursue.
Internally, I would like to revise our current articles of incorporation and bylaws to improve the efficiency of our operations, and create a long-term development plan to envision the future of our organization in 5 and 10 years. We will not just plan and run events, but also prepare for the future and strive to create a sustainable organization.
As part of this, we will study and receive education in various directions, such as how to run a non-profit organization, how to manage accounting, and review the suitability of the organization to apply for government grants. I would also like to emphasize that we will actively consider ways to share information and communicate with members using digital platforms to strengthen communication. For example, we will publish a regular newsletter and open an online feedback channel so that more members can participate in KAKA activities and share their opinions.
Given the current financial situation, it is very important for us to receive government subsidies to upgrade our organization to the next level. Therefore, we need to know what the government’s guidelines are for nonprofit organizations such as the Korean American Association and whether we are operating in accordance with them, and if there is a gap between our activities and the government’s guidelines, we need to change our direction to bring our activities into line with them.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that our efforts will produce tangible results right away.
But if we keep making small changes, one day we will all see the results.
I have always been proud of the beautiful Korean community in Waterloo Wellington.
The Korean tradition of unity, honoring elders, guiding and understanding the younger generation is alive and well in the Waterloo Wellington Korean community. I hope that this tradition will not just remain in the past, but will continue to be a beautiful legacy that will define who we are today and into the future. To this end, I would like to increase our interaction with the younger generation to create a community where we can all grow together without a generation gap.
Finally, as we move forward with our work during our term, I would like to ask you to further encourage us when we do well, and to give us words of criticism and advice when we fall short. Your input will be the driving force to make our organization better.
Thank you very much.

Inaugural speech by Hyangwoo President

Thank you very much.
My name is ○○○, and I am the first president of the ○○ Alumni Association.
I was born and raised in ○○, and I have dedicated my life to loving my hometown by serving as the secretary of the ○○ Central Alumni Association and the vice president of the ○○ Alumni Association.
The hometown association is more than just a social organization, it is an important community where we can strengthen the bonds with people from our hometown and support each other. I’ve been serving ○○ without realizing it, but I’m nervous about taking on such a big responsibility.
However, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the members of the Alumni Association for their willingness to put me in this honorable position.
I will work hard to fulfill your expectations.
It has been ○ years since the Honam Alumni Association was founded.
It’s been a long time since we were founded.
The number of members has also grown rapidly, and about ○○○ people and ○○ generations have joined our family.
I believe that this growth is not only due to the increase in numbers, but also to the dedication, passion, and unity of our members.
I would like to thank the entire executive team for their efforts during the difficult times.
As we all do, the passage of time brings with it some regrets and regrettable events, but the past year has also been a year of gratitude for the faith and friendship of our beloved alumni.
Looking back at the history of the Alumni Association, there have been many crises and challenges, but we have always pioneered new paths by trusting and guiding each other, and in the process, we have gained a deeper understanding of the meaning and value of the Alumni Association.
Here are my plans for the future of the Alumni Association.
The first is to give back to the community.
Often, when alumni associations hold gatherings, they end up with consumptive parties and events, but we will avoid such consumptive events and develop them into productive gatherings that help our neighbors in need by collecting small amounts of sincerity.
In particular, we want to increase the sustainability of the organization through exchanges with the younger generation. We will create opportunities for our younger members to understand the value of their hometowns and alumni associations and actively participate in them. To this end, we plan to introduce communication programs with young people and a mentoring system.
We also plan to raise funds at each event and donate them to local service organizations, not just on a one-time basis, but on an ongoing basis.
We will do our best to change the perception of local residents so that our ○○ Alumni Association can take the lead in caring for and helping our neighbors.
From this year, we are aiming to mature into a more productive organization and not just a ‘help’ group, so I hope you, the members, will help us as well.
I also plan to take the lead in promoting the culture and history of our hometown.
Our hometown ○○ is not just our local roots, but a precious place with proud Korean traditions and culture. To this end, I plan to organize exhibitions and festivals themed around the culture of our hometown to share and enjoy with the local people. Through these events, I hope to strengthen the identity of our hometown association and build a foundation for more people to join us.
In the new ○○ year, I am confident that if you actively participate in the development of our organization, we will become the best organization in the country.
I believe that the strength of our ○○ people comes from your interest and participation.
I hope that by contributing your small efforts, we can help develop our hometown ○○, which is growing into a huge city.
To all of you who are in your hometown and those who are away from your hometown!
I would like to ask you to always love your hometown ○○ and to love it even more.
Furthermore, I hope that our united strength and enthusiasm will lead to the development of our hometown as well as the growth and happiness of each of our members.
With that, I would like to conclude my inaugural address by wishing you all happiness and good health in your homes.
Thank you very much.

President’s Inaugural Address

Honored and beloved members of Hyangwoo,
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the alumni and relatives who have traveled a long way to be with us today.
The ○○ Association is a prestigious organization that has been established for 20 years and has built up a brilliant tradition and achievements since its inception in 19○○ by alumni who love their hometown. I, ○○○, have assumed the presidency of the ○○ Association with the responsibility of taking a new leap forward by inheriting this precious tradition.
As the previous presidents have firmly laid the foundation of hometown love with their dedication and service, I have the good fortune to build on that foundation and leap forward like the rabbit, the symbol of the new year. I will do everything in my power to ensure that ○○会 continues to grow and prosper. However, my efforts alone will not be enough; I believe that the generous cooperation and support of my seniors and juniors is the key to success.
When I arrived in Tahyang half a century ago, empty-handed, what I felt most urgently was the warmth and camaraderie among the people of my hometown. I would like to revive that warmth and propose a blueprint for our future together.
First, we want to document the stories of all of our alumni who have gone on to great lives and accomplishments away from home, and all of our members who will do great things in the future.
Second, we would like to establish an agricultural and specialty product distribution store where you can feel the flavors and nostalgia of your hometown, so that you can feel the sentiment of your hometown in Seoul.
Third, I want to create a meeting place where people can have a cup of tea and a conversation with hometown flavors, fostering ties between industries and classes, as well as communication between generations.
This modest blueprint cannot be accomplished by me alone, but I believe that if 150,000 hometown seniors and all hometown friends collectively put their hearts and minds together, it will be accomplished.
In closing, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for braving the cold weather to attend this event, and I would like to extend my best wishes for the Lunar New Year. I wish you all good health and all the best in your endeavors.
Thank you.

Inaugural speech by the president of the volunteer club Inaugural speech by the president of the volunteer club

As we enter the season of deepening greenery, I would like to begin by thanking our esteemed past presidents, members and their families, and the many guests who have taken time out of their busy schedules to join us in celebrating our club’s development and inauguration.
Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for making this day possible.
Today, as I, a newbie, take on the important role of president of our club, I am worried that I will not be able to do justice to the hard work of the previous president and other members. I’m not sure what to do and how to do it. However, I believe that your faith and support will guide me, and I pledge to do my best to fulfill my role as an errand boy to serve you.
The name of our club, DREAM, means dream, ideal, hope, and fantasy. But I would like to summarize our club’s name in one word: HOPE. What is hope? Hope is the feeling of expecting and wishing for something good to happen. I think it’s not just about dreaming, it’s about working together to make that dream come true, and I believe our club can be a symbol of that hope.
In order to be a club that can serve with hope and excitement, a club that can join hands with each other and share hope, I would like to take this opportunity to make a few requests of our members.
First, I would like to emphasize the importance of fellowship among members. We need to meet often to get to know each other, and to do that, we need to actively participate in our meetings. By seeing each other’s faces more often, we can form stronger bonds through laughter and conversation. I believe that small ideas will grow into big plans, and big plans will lead to beautiful acts of service, so I look forward to your participation in the future.
Next, I’d like to talk about the importance of gaining new members. We are still a young club, and we have a lot to work on in terms of membership and finances. By bringing even one more person into the ranks of service, we can create bigger and better opportunities for service. It’s not just about growing our membership, it’s about establishing a foundation that will allow us to reach out to more of our neighbors, and I encourage you all to become ambassadors for our club.
I want to make sure that our club’s service is not just for show, not just for the sake of showing others, not just for the sake of taking pictures, but for the sake of doing the kind of service that really touches our hearts and helps our neighbors. I believe that service that is practiced silently is the true value that our club should pursue.
It is also important that we build trust and love within ourselves through our service activities. We want our club to be more than just a place to gather for service, but a family-like community full of love and affection among its members. We hope that our lives will be enriched by our service and that we will be a driving force for positive change in our communities.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our distinguished guests and members for joining us today. I also wish you and your families the best of health and happiness, and that all your hopes and dreams are fulfilled. I would like to conclude my inaugural address by wishing you all the best in your businesses and workplaces, and pledging to work together for the future development of our club.
Thank you.

Inaugural speech by the club president

Hello, beloved ○○ Baseball Club members and families.
I would like to thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to come to this ceremony and express my deepest gratitude for your support and love.
We would not be here today without your interest, passion, and deep affection for the ○○ Baseball Club and the ○○ Football Club. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
It has now been ○ years since the club was founded.
I started the club when I realized that there were many soccer clubs, such as early soccer clubs, but surprisingly, there were not many baseball clubs around. At first, it was just a simple desire to get together with people who loved baseball and enjoy it together, but this desire gradually turned into a great passion, and the club has grown into what it is today.
As one of the founding members of the ○○ Baseball Club, I have been with the club for all these years.
There have been many trials and tribulations over the past ○ years, but I know that we are where we are today because of the dedicated efforts of all the members of ○○ Baseball Club and the faith and trust we have in each other. Now, we have evolved into a talented club that we can proudly show off wherever we go.
At first, we got together because we loved baseball.
Then, as we practiced and played friendly games every weekend, we grew to love more than just the game – we loved the people. The memories we’ve made sweating and laughing together have enriched our lives beyond just a hobby.
Sharing a hobby is a great bond, and we’ve become more than just a club, we’ve become a family, celebrating each other’s milestones. The camaraderie we felt while training together on the field is now an important part of our lives, and I am so proud of the way we have supported, encouraged, and grown together.
Now, as president, I’m looking forward to working with you to reach even greater heights. I will do my best to not only hone our baseball skills and improve our game, but also to strengthen our bonds with each other and develop ○○Baseball into a respected organization in the community.
As your elected president, I would like to invite you, the members of the ○○ Baseball Club, to join me in building another great year for the ○○ Baseball Club.
With that, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best in 2010, and to wish you and your families all the best in the upcoming New Year.
Thank you, everyone.
And I love you.

Inaugural speech from the inaugural club president

The long winter is receding and we can hear the sound of new spring. The bitter cold of winter’s longing for spring still chills us, but we also feel the hope of the budding of life. Just like the change of seasons, we feel that it is time for our club to take a new leap forward.
It has been my great fortune to move to the beautiful town of ○○ and to discover ○○ Sarang. The information I have gained here and the warmth I have shared with my neighbors have enriched my life. It is because of these connections that I have been given the opportunity to serve as the president of ○○ Sarang. I am very happy and grateful to be here today to pledge a new beginning with all of you.
I don’t know why things that didn’t seem difficult when I was active, learning, and running around with my predecessor feel so strange and awkward now. Now that I’m in the role of a leader, I feel the weight of what I have to do. You don’t know what to do, how to do it, or how to turn the ideas in your head into reality.
But I’m not alone, and thanks to you, our passionate members, that feeling of overwhelm is quickly replaced with courage, and I’m able to walk the path ahead with excitement.
○○Dear members!
If I had to summarize what I want to do as the 6th president in just one word, it would be “Let’s spread ○○love!”. I want ○○Sarang to become more than just an online community, but a valuable vehicle for bringing positive change to our local communities. The more active we are here, the farther our voices will travel, and the more resonance we will have in our communities.
To this end, I have set several specific goals: First, I will revitalize communication among members, creating a warm space where everyone can freely share their opinions and listen to each other’s thoughts. Second, I will further strengthen our connections with the local community. We will strive to make sure that our activities are loved and supported by local residents.
I would also like to make a few requests of you.
First, I’d like to ask for your participation in posts. A cafe with only posts without comments does not breathe, so please express your valuable opinions. However, we ask that you remember to be respectful and considerate when disagreeing. Respectful dissent will help everyone think twice and find a better way forward.
Secondly, ○○Love is a non-profit online community and service organization for the region and its residents. We need the continued interest and support of our members so that our activities can reach more people and produce better results. Without financial difficulties, we can be more creative and active in our activities. We look forward to your continued interest and support.
Lastly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the five previous presidents and all the management team for their dedicated service to ○○LOVE. I will do my best to follow the path they have paved and not to be a duplicate of my predecessors. I am confident that even if I have many shortcomings, with the advice and support of the management team and members, we will be able to grow together and open a better future.
Once again, I would like to thank all of you for joining me on this meaningful occasion.
Let’s remember that we are all connected under the name of ○○love, and let’s build a wonderful community that positively impacts each other.
Thank you.

Inaugural speech by the inaugural club president

I’m ○○○, and I’m honored to be inaugurated as the ○○○ President for the ○○ term.
Thank you, dear guests, members, and family for taking time out of your busy schedules to be here today!
I wish you all the best for the new year and wish you all the joy and happiness you deserve. I extend my sincere gratitude to all of you.
Dear members of the ○○ Affinity Group!
I am personally deeply honored that you have entrusted me with the important role of President, but I also feel a great sense of duty weighing heavily on my shoulders.
I deeply appreciate the accomplishments and hard work of the past presidents, and I will strive to take over and help the ○○ Club grow even further. Of course, I sometimes worry that I will not be able to follow in their footsteps, but I believe that with the wisdom and practicality of our wonderful members, we will be able to overcome any difficulties.
This year’s journey will be a journey with you, never alone, and as we embark on that journey, I’d like to share a few directions I’d like to see us move forward.
First, we’re going to create affinity groups.
Our lives are a journey, and we rely on each other to get us through it. Sometimes the road can be cobbled together, and sometimes it can feel like we’re walking alone. In those moments, our affinity groups should be a refuge for you.
This requires care, concern, and openness to one another. If we all take one step at a time, our affinity groups will become a place where everyone feels included and welcome. Affinity groups should be more than just a hobby, they should be a way to enrich each other’s lives.
Second, we’ll create an active and vibrant affinity group.
The key to a vibrant club is active participation from members. We often see new members who are very enthusiastic when they first join, but over time they become neglected and eventually leave. This is a real shame.
In today’s personalized society, where every connection is worth its weight in gold, clubs are more than just a hobby; they create deep bonds and valuable connections. This year, I’m planning to organize a variety of events and activities for all members to participate in, which will make our clubs more vibrant and fulfilling for everyone involved.
For example, we’ll have a variety of seasonal programs to create a fun environment for everyone to participate in. We’ll also have more outdoor activities, more study groups, and more member-to-member exchange programs to make our clubs more active than ever.
Third, we will increase the value of our clubs.
We believe that our clubs should be more than just a place to share hobbies, but also a place to contribute to each other’s growth and development. We will expand the value of our clubs to include activities that allow you to share your diverse experiences and knowledge, and have a positive impact on your community.
For example, we may try to organize small volunteer activities that utilize the talents and expertise of our members, or we may initiate projects that collaborate with the local community. This will help our club become more than just a gathering place, but a socially meaningful organization.
Honored members!
I’m not much of a leader, but I’ll do my best to lead the club with the help of you.
I will be a president who will always communicate with you, listen to your opinions, and do my best to make sure that we all feel more satisfied and happy with the club.
Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to join us.
I sincerely wish you all joy, health, and happiness in the New Year. Thank you.

Inaugural speech by the inaugural club president

Dear honorable ○○Service Club family, who practice the service of love, gratitude, and blessings!
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the members of the ○○Service Club family and guests who have taken time out of their busy schedules to join us to celebrate the inauguration of the ○○Service Club President.
In this honorable position today, I humbly accept the kind words of my seniors and other members. I promise to do my best for the development and harmony of the club.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the previous presidents and members for their dedication to the club in the past year, despite the global economic recession and other difficulties. I would also like to bow my head and express my deepest gratitude to the first president who loves and supports the club with the heart of a mother and father.
This year will be an even more meaningful year.
Our club wants to make a better society to live in through the practice of love to help the marginalized and needy neighbors, beyond the age, delay, and blood relation. We believe that our small acts of love will bring hope to our neighbors and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
Honorable members!
During this session, I will do my utmost to practice “service of love, service of gratitude, and service of blessing.” I will be at the forefront of the service line with all members in unison.
I believe that love is service, and service means a blessed life, and I will do my best to create a club that practices this.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you, including the first president, for your support, which has enabled me to stand in this position, which is somewhat lacking.
In closing, I would like to express my commitment, “I, ○○○, will silently and faithfully fulfill my duties and become a trusted president.” I sincerely wish all of you, the guests of honor, and the members of the club family who have joined us today a blessing on your homes, businesses, and workplaces.
I love you all with all my heart.
Thank you.

Inaugural Speech by the Village Mayor

Good morning, everyone.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the many people who came to this ceremony and congratulated me despite the hot weather.
First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the residents of ○○-ri for electing me as the mayor of ○○-ri. I feel a heavy weight on my shoulders as your support and expectations are great, and I promise to fulfill this task entrusted to me wholeheartedly. I hope you will believe in me and support me.
I know each and every one of you who voted for me. And while it would be natural for me to look you in the eye and bow my head and greet you individually, I am deeply honored to be here today to express my gratitude and pledge to you.
Our town was once filled with the laughter of children and the bustle of the fields. But as the years have passed, many young people have left for the city, and the vitality of our village has gradually diminished. This situation has made me realize that we need to work together to find new possibilities and hope for our village.
I recently heard a story while talking to my son in Japan. He told me that a traditional festival in a small rural town in Japan is held every year and attracts great attention throughout the country. The festival has a tradition of more than 200 years, and it has become so successful that it even attracts many tourists from other parts of the country. The moment I heard that, I thought that we could create a festival like that in our town.
So, one of the pledges I made was to create a traditional town festival that utilizes the characteristics of our town. Fortunately, I believe that many people agreed with this pledge.
What are the characteristics of our village? Doesn’t it boast abundant meat, fresh herbs, and a rich natural environment? Let’s use these resources to create a special festival that is unique to our village.
For example, why not organize a “country school” or “weekend farm” during the summer? Here, city kids can experience nature, grow their own vegetables, and enjoy cooking and eating them. Our elders can share their farming experiences and know-how, and I think it’s a viable idea if everyone in the village works together.
In addition, the village festival will be more than just a farming experience; it will also be an opportunity to promote local specialties and make the name of the village known by adding various attractions and activities. Over time, I believe that the festival will become an annual tradition in the village and become a signature event that attracts more and more people.
Let’s not wait for young people to come back to the village anymore, let’s take it upon ourselves to make our village a vibrant community. Many small steps can make a big difference. I look forward to your warm support and active participation.
Finally, I would like to thank the residents of the neighborhood for electing me to serve as your Mayor. During this hot summer season, I wish you all the best, stay healthy, and enjoy cool, happy days wherever you are.
Thank you.

○○Chairman’s inaugural speech

Hello, everyone!
I am humbled by the warmth of your hearts and the infinite honor of being called by you to be the head of the beautiful Bulcho Society. Standing here in front of you, I am filled with great responsibility and excitement at the same time. I hope that today’s meeting will serve as a new starting point for the ○○Kai and a time of resolve for a better future.
The members of the ○○ Society are a warm-hearted group of people who care about and respect each other, and I hope that this gathering will become more than just a place for socializing, but also an example for each other and an important fence in life. I will be an exemplary president who will do my utmost to fulfill the wishes of the members and the infinite development of the ○○ Association with sincerity and sincerity, and I will strive to make the meetings of the ○○ Association a happy gathering that you, especially the family members of the ○○ Association, who are united in determination, look forward to.
We are now entering the maturity stage of our organization. I am deeply grateful for the dedicated efforts of our past presidents, secretaries, and other seniors who have led the organization over the years. It is the mission of me and the current executive board to inherit and develop the wonderful traditions they have established. We will also listen to the valuable opinions and warm hearts of our members and expand our communication.
Our goal this year is to create a gathering full of memories and happiness, and to that end, we first want to strengthen the bonds between members through regular meetings. Regardless of the frequency or format of our meetings, we will strive to have frequent time to share small joys and touches in each other’s lives. The second goal is to spread a culture of caring and sharing among our members. What is fellowship? I think that’s what fellowship is all about: being there for each other when things are hard and sharing in the good times.
In our social life, we have human relationships with intertwined interests, and sometimes it is difficult to have pure human-to-human interaction, but our club is a beautiful gathering of people without any interests, just for the sake of fellowship. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our seniors for creating such a valuable gathering and to all the members who participate.
Not long ago, when the news of member ○○○’s father’s passing came to us, we were all heartbroken and rushed to comfort him in unison. At that moment, I was reminded of the true value and warm humanity of our group. I believe that we will always be a group that cares for each other and will always move forward together.
Dear members, I consider it one of the greatest joys of my life to be elected as the second president of this honorable organization. I will do my best to make sure that the organization grows and develops further in the future, and that each and every one of our members finds this gathering energizing and builds new memories.
Finally, I sincerely hope that you and your family will always be healthy and happy. We hope that our meetings will be even more harmonious and warm, and we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude once again.
Thank you.

To the members of the Village Love Club

How are you doing?
It’s June, and we’re experiencing a heat wave that exceeds 30 degrees every day. It’s the kind of weather that makes you feel suffocated just hearing the number 30.
On average, our body temperature is said to be 36.5 degrees Celsius, and unless you’re feeling particularly sick, you’re probably living at a similar temperature. But what is the temperature of your life?
If you’re living your life passionately, you’re probably living it hotter than your body’s temperature, and if you’re just passing the time, you’re probably living it cooler.
Your future will largely depend on how hot and how hard you are living now, and I sincerely hope that your life burns hotter and more intensely than the mid-summer sun.
My long life has been a straight line of non-stop running. It was only after I retired that I found the time to slow down, and for the first time in my life, I feel that the temperature of my life is actually hotter than it was in my youth.
My wife respected my decision, and we moved to the beautiful town of ○○, where I learned to love my neighbors and discovered the joy of sharing with each other. It was an experience I couldn’t even imagine in Seoul. In Seoul, it was common to not even know who lived next door to you, but here, you share your life with your neighbors, even when they get married and how many kids they have. All of this makes me feel lucky and blessed.
I am embarrassed and feel a heavy responsibility to be the president of such a warm and loving neighborhood association. However, I am confident thanks to the management team and members who believe in me and encourage me, and I will continue to grow together with you and spread village love in the name of ‘○○love’.
‘○○love’ is a non-profit online community and volunteer organization that works for local residents. However, financial difficulties always stand in the way of achieving our goals. The active encouragement and support of our members makes our activities possible. We ask for your continued interest and support.
Finally, I would like to thank all the members of the board of directors for their continuous service and dedication to the Village Love Club, and I will do my best to fulfill my role as the successor of the previous president, so as not to be a nobody to the club.
Thank you.

Climbing Club President’s inaugural speech

Good morning, everyone.
I am standing here today because I was unanimously elected by you as the ○○th president. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Having led the club as president in the past, I’m sure you’re already familiar with my leadership and governance philosophy.
My guiding principles for this term are “Communication and Unity”, which I will briefly discuss below.
Communication
Communication is the most important factor in the vitality of an affinity group, and to that end, I intend to actively utilize the dialog within the affinity group and embrace modern information technology. We will utilize various communication methods such as Nate, phone, Twitter, and Facebook to keep the conversation flowing between members.
Of course, some members may not be able to use these methods, but communication is not just about technology, it’s about connecting with your heart. Rather than insisting that you are right, we ask that you respect the other person’s opinion and recognize and understand “differences.” When we approach conversations with an open mind, our community will be stronger.
Unity
Next, unity is a value that underpins our organization. Even though we all live in different places and have busy lives, we hope that you will make an effort to stay connected and involved in our activities.
In particular, the club’s activities are open to everyone, whether you are a member or not. If you are able to attend, please participate actively, and if you are unable to join us due to unavoidable circumstances, please show your support for each other and promise to join us next time.
The same goes for regular meetups, outings, and other events. We ask that you be considerate of each other and help keep the affinity group together as a community.
Other reminders
I am confident that dues issues and small matters can be resolved through good communication between the secretary and the general membership. We should not let these issues get in the way of our friendships and the progress of the club.
In closing, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the past presidents and officers for their hard work during the past fiscal year, and I promise to do my best to work with you to build a better ○○ Society.
Thank you.

Season’s Greetings from the President of the Mountaineering Club

Dear esteemed Mountaineers, how are you doing?
September, our favorite month of the year, has arrived. The scorching heat of summer has faded, and the crisp, clear air of autumn has taken over the land. The mountain scenery under the open sky is like a painting, and even the wind beneath your feet feels like a special gift.
A September hike in the mountains is an experience in itself. As you ascend the mountains, you’ll soon find yourself surrounded by colorful foliage, and everywhere you look, you’ll be surrounded by natural beauty. You can lose track of time as you hike, and before you know it, you’re at the top, and you’re overwhelmed with emotion.
In addition to the beauty and bounty of the mountains, I especially love this season because it is also the time of our nation’s biggest holiday, the Mid-Autumn Festival, and I sincerely wish all of you joy, happiness, and warmth in your homes.
On this beautiful autumn day, I am ○○○, the new president of the Mountain Association for the second half of 2011, thanks to your enthusiastic support. As the first president of the ○○ University Mountain Club, I will do my best to fulfill your expectations.
The tradition and reputation of our organization has been built on a solid foundation thanks to the dedicated efforts of our past presidents and executive board members, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to them. Now, I look forward to continuing that valuable legacy and adding a new vision to ensure the continued development of the organization.
Climbing mountains and being at one with nature is enlightening. The mountains are always there, but they greet us differently each time. Some days they challenge us, other days they comfort and relax us. The experiences we gain from the mountains are so much more than just a hike, they add invaluable value to the lives of all of us.
The new executive team is now starting the climb with you, our members, with a fresh mind. When climbing a mountain, the distinction between senior and junior disappears, and the only thing that remains is the partnership of helping and guiding each other. May we walk together, whether ahead or behind, extend our hands and shoulders to each other, and share the joy of the moment when we all reach the top.
As the saying goes, “On the way up, we are strangers, but on the way down, we are friends.” Mountaineering brings us closer together. The time you spend together in the big circle of the Mountaineering Club will remain with you for a lifetime.
I would like to invite more members to participate in future hikes to experience the beauty of nature and the joy of hiking together. We are planning various programs and activities to do so, so please look forward to your participation.
I would like to ask for your warm encouragement and support for our new leadership team, and wish you and your family all the best.
Thank you.

Inaugural speech by the new president

Hello, dear and honored members of the Conservation Club.
It has been a long time of seventeen years that I have been able to serve with you as your president, and I believe that it has been the hard work, interest, and dedication of the members that has brought me to this point.
I am proud to say that we have worked as hard as any other organization in terms of all the conservation events and the friendship between members. When I first took over as chairman, I couldn’t hide the fact that my shoulders were heavy and I wondered if I could do a good job, and I was even more cautious because of the mixed nature of our council.
It was a relief, and each and every member was so supportive and like-minded.
So again, thank you very much.
I believe that today is not just an occasion to deliver my inaugural speech, but an important moment to reflect on the path we have taken and to consider together the direction we should take in the future. The achievements we have made in seventeen years are not small, and the trust and solidarity we have built in our various activities to protect nature and raise awareness of the need for environmental protection will be the foundation for even greater growth in the future.
Friends, we are here to love and protect nature.
Although there are many campaigns and events to protect the environment, there are still few people who are willing to take action on their own.
We need to create a club that actually takes action, not just a club that says let’s do this and let’s do that. In fact, I said the same thing when I gave my inaugural speech at the first inauguration ceremony, but the spirit of ‘Let us be the first to act’ remains unchanged.
It’s fundamental that we need to raise awareness of the need to protect the environment through events and campaigns, but it’s our job to take action and show that we are doing it ourselves.
It’s also up to us to come up with concrete actions. For example, you can share your own actions to reduce plastic use, or organize an environmental project in your community that you can participate in together. No matter how small the action, if we do it together, the impact will be no small thing. If our clubs take center stage and make a positive difference in our communities, that will be our reward and our pride.
When I heard your heartfelt, thunderous applause during my inaugural address, I thought, “We’ve done a good job, we can do better.”
Folks, as I did when I first took office, I believe that communication with you comes first, and I will put trust and trust honesty at the forefront again.
Because there’s no such thing as a bunch of people paying dues and spending time.
The treasurer will make sure that we are being frugal, the auditor will make sure that we are doing a good job, the two vice presidents will make sure that we are doing a good job, and the president will never lie to the members and tell the truth, and we will never have a council that hides things from you.
I would like to take this opportunity to share with you what we need to work on in the future. We want to share our conservation work with more people, and make the Club a more transparent and vibrant community. These goals are not possible without your cooperation and enthusiasm.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or anything else you’d like to know.
We’re a group, and you have a right to know.
Keep it up, everyone!
I’ll do my best to be an even better club president.
Thank you.

Message from the new president of the elementary school alumni association

Hello, everyone!
October 3, Gaecheonjeon, the birthday of Korea, is a day with great symbolism as a national holiday among national holidays. It is the day that Korea’s first nation, Gojoseon, was founded, and Gaecheon means to open and practice the heavenly heart that is in everyone. On such a meaningful day, I am very pleased to be inaugurated as the president of the ○○ Elementary School Alumni Association.
It is October, so the sky is clear and the cool air makes me feel good.
There are many alumni who have traveled a long way to be here today, and many people who have worked hard to make this event possible. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude. The Alumni Association is more than just a gathering, it’s a vital link between our past and our future together. This day will always be a milestone in my life as I take on the role of Alumni President.
In particular, I would like to thank the many people who have taken time out of their busy schedules to attend this event.
Honored alumni of ○○ Elementary School!
Today, I am standing in the important position of alumni president, but I am worried that I will not be able to match the achievements of my predecessors.
But an alumni organization is not just the power of the president and a few other officers.
The true power of an alumni association is when all alumni come together as one. It’s not just about reminiscing about the past, it’s about shaping the present and future together. Alumni friendships and camaraderie will keep your alma mater and alumni association alive and help you make history.
I believe that alumni can be revitalized and developed when we all work together.
Therefore, with the support and motivation of the seniors and the push of the juniors, I will do everything in my power to further develop the alumni association and pass it on to the juniors.
I would like to ask for your strong support and active participation.
Our ○○ Elementary School has been in existence for more than half a century and has produced numerous alumni. Although the number of students is small due to the declining rural population, the school is known for its many unique programs, and was even targeted for closure a few years ago due to declining enrollment.
If it weren’t for the unity and hard work shown by the alumni in that difficult situation, ○○ Elementary School might not exist today. I believe that this spirit of unity is the most important force that has protected our school, and I will continue to do my best to help our alma mater move forward into a brighter and more hopeful future. Our alma mater is not just a place where we spent our childhood, but a precious space that laid the foundation for our lives.
However, thanks to the Save Our Alma Mater movement, which was organized by all of our alumni, our principal, and teachers, the school was saved from closure.
In order to prevent this from happening in the future, all of us alumni will have to work harder to save our alma mater.
Honored seniors, classmates, and juniors!
As I take office today, I will continue to support the alumni association to develop the alumni association and continue the movement to save our alma mater.
In addition, in order to revitalize the alumni association, I will encourage and support those who do not have an alumni association to establish an alumni association, so that more riders can participate in next year’s alumni athletic meet.
We also want our alumni to not only support their alma mater, but also have a positive impact on their local communities. We will organize meaningful activities and initiatives so that the alumni association can grow together with the local community. Along with the pride of being an alumnus of our alma mater, we will also embrace the responsibility of being a member of the community.
○○ will be forever. We ask for your generous support for the eternal development of ○○ Elementary School and the Alumni Association.
Thank you.

Branch Head Inauguration Branch Head Inauguration Speech

Good morning, everyone.
I’m Mr. ○○○, the branch manager of Branch ○○, who will be working with you from today. First of all, I would like to thank you all for being here today. The emotions I feel as I stand here can be summarized in just one word: responsibility. As we embark on a new challenge together, I can’t help but pledge even greater enthusiasm and effort.
Where I used to work was in a quiet, secluded city, a far cry from here, where I gained experience in a relatively comfortable and stable environment, but standing here now, I feel a different energy than before. This is a city with a lot of foot traffic and a lot of life, and the passion and motivation I see in the faces of each and every one of you is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before.
Moreover, I believe that the atmosphere here holds great promise and potential in itself. The achievements you have made here have already been demonstrated in many cases, and I believe that the possibilities for further development are endless. Your vigor and enthusiasm have motivated and stimulated me, and I am eager to join you here and do my best with a young and energetic mindset.
We are at an important turning point here. Early next year, we learned that a new ○○ store from a rival ○○ company will open nearby, which will pose another challenge for us, but I want to take this as an opportunity rather than a fear. I think it’s a great opportunity for us to become more competitive and set new goals together, looking for ways to better serve our customers.
In this competitive environment, the cooperation of all of us is of utmost importance. Our headquarters is preparing for this with systematic support and differentiated strategies. In addition, within our team, we will develop customized services to maximize customer satisfaction and build efficient sales strategies so that we can become a more outstanding branch in this competition.
In particular, this ○○ store has already been loved and trusted by the local community for a long time. We must build on this pride, unite even more strongly, and prepare for the future. Nothing is more important than maintaining the trust of our customers, and it will be our task to listen to their voices, meticulously solve even the smallest problems, and take our performance to the next level.
I believe in the passion and capabilities of all of you, and I want this to be more than just a place to work, but a place where each of you can prove your worth and fulfill your dreams. If we all do our best in our respective roles, we will make this store one of the most beloved in the region.
Finally, as I am new here, I believe that you are already more familiar with the situation and characteristics of this branch. Please feel free to let me know if I’m not doing enough, and let’s work together to find solutions. With your advice and support, we will be able to achieve even greater things than we already have.
Thank you.

Inaugural remarks by the president of the local taekwondo association

Good morning, everyone.
I would like to bow down and thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend my inauguration ceremony.
In particular, I would like to express my sincere respect and gratitude to the dignitaries who have joined us to honor this occasion, and to the local leaders and athletes who are striving to develop the region with their passion for taekwondo.
Taekwondo is more than just a martial art, it is a precious heritage that embodies our spirit and tradition. It is a philosophy that cultivates the spirit, strengthens the mind and body, and sets the center of our lives straight. In order to inherit and develop these values, I am honored to take on the important position of president of the Milyang Taekwondo Association, a position that I believe is not just a personal honor, but the beginning of a new leap forward for the bright future of Taekwondo in our region.
I am well aware that many people today criticize sports associations, especially those related to sports, for their opaque operations. Sometimes, stories of corruption and injustice are heard incessantly, and it cannot be denied that the Taekwondo Association has not been immune to such stories. Nevertheless, I will take the lead in resolving these endemic problems, recalling the spirit of the ‘party of justice’ in Taekwondo.
As is the case with all sports, taekwondo in particular emphasizes fairness and courtesy. Taekwondo is not just a martial art, but an educational sport that develops people. As president, I will build on this spirit of taekwondo and prioritize transparency and fairness in the management of the association, and I sternly promise you that I will not tolerate any unfair lobbying during my term.
Our organization must grow based on the trust of the local people. The local people are the owners of the organization, and without their trust, the future of the organization cannot be secured. The poor performance and indifference that the Taekwondo Association has shown in the past is actually a result of this lack of trust. I will do my best to regain this trust by boldly breaking with old practices and rebuilding the Taekwondo Association into a organization that local people can be proud of.
In addition, taekwondo is a great tool to instill the right values and character in our local youth. To this end, I will work closely with local taekwondo dojos to provide systematic support and program development. Furthermore, I will spare no effort to help our local taekwondo talents stand out in competitions in Korea and abroad.
All of you who love Taekwondo and are committed to its discipline and extreme strength!
I want to restore the spirit of taekwondo and contribute to the development of sports and community cohesion in our city of Miryang. By keeping pace with the local people, the association will no longer be an organization for a few vested interests, but a platform for all. I sincerely ask for your support and cooperation in this endeavor.
Today marks a new beginning.
A new leap forward centered on the local Taekwondo Association, and a journey to make our city a center of sports begins here. As the head of the association, I pledge to devote myself to the development of taekwondo and the prosperity of the community.
In closing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for joining us here today and wish you all the best of health and good fortune in your families and in your work. Thank you.
