New member introduction for a biking club

My name is ○○○, and I’m the newest member of your cycling club. My current job is running a business in Tokyo. I’m 33 years old, and as you can see, I’m still single.
I bought a cycle late last year to lose weight and rode it for a few days, but I found it boring and unmotivating to ride alone, so an acquaintance introduced me to this club. I heard that beginners can join and learn the basics, so I’m looking forward to it. I always ride my bike after heavy rain or when it’s not winter. I will follow the seniors in the club and pedal hard.
I think I’ll need a month or two to feel comfortable as a member of the biking club, so I won’t rush into it too quickly – it’s hard to get to know someone in one or two meetings, and I’d rather have a group that’s hard to get to know and unforgettable than one that’s easy to get to know and easily forgotten. I don’t think this is the case here, but I think a lot of bike clubs tend to become a place for people to show off their fitness, and I think that’s part of the nature of cycling, and it’s hard for new members to fit in because it’s become a virtue to be faster than others and to ride longer distances than others. To be honest, I’m one of those people who joined another club for a few months and then left because I didn’t fit in, so I’m telling you that I joined this club not to train, but to enjoy running with people. I want this to be a club where anyone can feel comfortable coming out and enjoying each other’s company is more of a priority than anything else.
I’m hoping to get into cycling here and eventually commute to work by bike. It’s hard to find time to work out when you’re working, so I’d like to be able to commute by bike and get some exercise. I also like the idea of reducing environmental pollution by using green transportation, which is said to help reduce traffic congestion, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve health.
I read in a book, “When you take to the streets in a car, you become a cage, but a bicycle is a transparent, pollution-free way to make yourself known.” What we all have in common is that we all enjoy cycling. I’m so happy to meet so many of you who share the same hobby as I do, and I hope that we’ll have a lot of time to mingle with people from all walks of life, so I wish you all the best in the future.

Welcome letter for new members of a company club

hello. My name is ○○○, and I am the newest member of the ○○ dance club. I never thought that there would be a dance club in our company, so I was surprised and delighted when I saw the recruitment notice for new members on the company bulletin board. In fact, my dream when I was a college student was to have a club activity in the company, preferably dance. I was active in a dance club in college, so I hope to do a lot of activities in the ○○ dance club.
Before I came here, I went to the club cafe and joined the club. I looked at the activity history and MT history of the senior members, and I was surprised that the club was more active than I thought. I thought it was just a dance club, but I saw that they had charity performances and musicals every year. I am very grateful to the seniors for letting me join such a great club and for making many memories with them in the future.
My seniors told me to find something to relieve my stress because my corporate life is very stressful, and I’m even happier that I found that stress reliever here. I like to dance, sweat, and exercise with others, and I get a lot of pleasure from showing it to others. I’m sure many of my seniors and classmates are similar to me in their love of dance, and I think it’s a great connection to have the same hobbies while working for the same company. I haven’t had the chance to talk to many of you yet, but I’m sure we’ll have a lot in common in the future. Having a common interest is a great way to get to know each other. I would like to become a member of the club, not just a member of a club, but a member of a family that shares fun and joy together. I would also like to attend the ○○ club charity performance this year.
I am ○○○, a new member who is full of passion for dance, and I wish you well in the future. I would like to thank my seniors one more time for helping me to be where I am today, and I will repay them with active activities in the future.

New student welcome ceremony Nursing student self-introduction

hello. I’m ○○○, a new student at the School of Nursing, and I entered the campus with nervousness, but I was very happy to see some of my seniors from the entrance ceremony. Before I introduce myself, I’d like to tell you why I came to the School of Nursing.
Growing up, my dreams changed more times than I can count, so when I was deciding on a college path, I was more troubled than others. Then I thought about my dreams, and they all had one thing in common: helping others. Growing up, I had to go to the hospital a lot because I was weak, so there were always people there to help me, and I realized early on how grateful I was to have their help, so I knew I had to do something with my life to help others, and I decided that I wanted to be a nurse and live a life of service, not only in the hospital, but also outside of the hospital, where I could take care of sick hearts.
I think nursing is one of the many professions where you can find reward and pride in sacrificing and serving others, so I wanted to become a nurse who practices service by working hard to build up my nursing knowledge. To my seniors and classmates, I want to be this kind of nurse. For patients who are in physical and mental pain, the treatment of the disease itself is important, but a warm word about recovery will be a great comfort, so I want to be a nurse with a heart that shares their pain and gives them hope and courage.
Above my desk, I have a motto: “Live a life that truly pleases you.” The book I read that touched me the most was Hope For the Flowers by Trina Paulus, which inspired me to choose this motto. It’s about a bunch of caterpillars trying to climb upwards, not knowing what’s above them. The thought of being one of them crossed my mind several times a day, and I realized that like the caterpillar in the book, I don’t want to fulfill my personal desires by competing endlessly for worldly values and trampling on true values to win over others. I want to taste the joy of winning the battle with myself and getting what I want. To truly succeed would be to know myself rightly, to elevate myself to a noble and pure level, and to work steadily toward that goal with conviction and determination. No matter how difficult and challenging my path to becoming a nurse is, I want to find the true value of life not from others, but from myself, who is striving hard. If I can find the motivation to live in myself, I will be able to be the butterfly that gives hope to the flowers at some point.
I don’t want to be a nurse who simply gives injections and medicines according to the doctor’s prescription in the hospital; I want to be a nurse who can educate patients to take care of their own health once they leave the hospital and teach them how to prevent or cope with serious illnesses. I want to be a nurse who smells like a person, who takes Florence Nightingale’s words to heart, “Doctors treat the sick, but nurses nurse the patient.” I want to be a nurse like Florence Nightingale.
I have the determination and persistence to make my dream a reality in the future. I would like to grow into a great nurse with the lectures of great professors and the guidance of my seniors. Professors and seniors, this concludes my introduction.

New Employee Training Institute Self-introduction

hello. I am ○○○, the youngest member of the ○○ team. First of all, as a new employee, I am very happy and sincerely grateful to have this opportunity to introduce myself to everyone. Yesterday, I came to work for the first time with excitement and excitement. I saw the hustle and bustle and the hard work of everyone at ○○, and I thought of many things, because I could feel the passion and pride in every single one of their actions and expressions.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work at ○○. For having such a great opportunity, I feel infinitely grateful and responsible at the same time, and I will approach my work with the mindset of always learning and striving to do one more thing.
I was a member of the band club during my school days. In a band, the guitar plays a solo with a gorgeous tone, but without the rest of the parts, it would be nothing but noise. In the same way, an organization can only progress when everyone does their best in their part and it is in harmony. Our company is full of unique individuals with great skills and a lot of passion. We have opportunities for each individual to shine and be a soloist, but I’ve also found that we have a strong company culture that brings those individuals together into a tight chord.
I was overwhelmed with joy at the news that I had landed a job where I wanted to work, but now, as a new employee, I’m thinking about how I can achieve my goals and contribute to the company. I still have a lot to learn, and I still have a lot to learn, but I would like to say that my ambitions are bigger and wider than anyone else.
To my esteemed and beloved company seniors, I sincerely ask you to not hesitate to scold me right away if I am lacking a lot and doing something wrong as a rookie. I will take your warm and affectionate reprimands and advice very sweetly and I will fix it right away and put it into action, so I will become a wonderful person worthy of the company.
Kahlil Gibran once said, “Passion is a volcano on which the weeds of indecision can never grow.” I will thoroughly prepare myself for a future where I can pursue my dreams with volcano-like passion. I will be a new employee who grows slowly but forward, quickly but delicately, remembering the days when I was a student and traveled alone with a backpack weighing more than 20 kilograms.

Introductions from the club president at the new member welcome ceremony

hello. I’m ○○○, the president of the Pungmul Club. I’m glad to meet all of you who have gathered here with the same passion for Pungmul. I’d like to introduce myself briefly at the beginning of the new member welcome ceremony. I’m sure the existing members are familiar with me, but I’m sure the new members don’t know me yet.
You might think that I’m a very boring person based on my first impression, but I’m not. I’m one of those people who thinks that club activities should be fun. You’re here to have fun in school, so I want you to have fun and enjoy learning about folklore.
I remember when I first joined the club. When I entered college after a high school life of just studying, I remember feeling very confused and overwhelmed by the completely different educational environment and free atmosphere. Realizing that I was given unlimited freedom, but also had to take responsibility for myself, I was able to truly enjoy the freedom of college life and think seriously about my future. As the president of the folklore club, I became more active, and I was able to discover my latent talents that I hadn’t realized before by performing yard plays, plays, dances, and folklore in front of many people. I also went on a rural volunteer service during the summer vacation, and although it was a short time, I was able to get to know the farmers’ hearts a little better and learn the value of sweat. It also made me reflect on how lazy and complacent I’ve been about the world, and gave me the perspective to see the world more broadly.
To the new members, I hope you will have fun with me in the future. I’m sure the seniors here will be able to help you a lot. It may be awkward at first, but if you meet often, you’ll be closer than siblings. Welcome. I love you. That concludes my introduction, everyone.

Design Team New Employee Welcome Ceremony (New Employee Introductions)

hello. I’m ○○○, the newest member of the design team. It’s a pleasure to meet you. It’s only now that I’m having a new employee welcome ceremony that I realize I’ve become a designer.
Seeing so many beloved characters, from Mickey Mouse in the United States to Pokémon in Japan, has made me dream of becoming a character designer after graduation, and now I’ve knocked on your door to fulfill that dream. I’ve heard that the competition for this position is high. I was very lucky to break through this difficult gateway, which makes me even more proud of my work.
I’ve been doodling since middle school. I used to blog about funny stories that happened at school in the form of webtoons rather than the more traditional genres. As my webtoons started to float around the internet and the number of visitors to my blog increased, I decided to open my own website and create a place to interact with netizens. As I worked on expressing stories that many students could relate to with simple drawings, I tasted the joy of drawing, and I learned how to communicate with many other people through drawing. I don’t just draw to express and communicate my inner feelings about something, I draw as a way of exploring my relationship with the world, including objects, and with myself. So I love connecting with people through design, and I think it’s one of the most important things in my life, because it’s another authentic and beautiful way to connect with the world.
I love illustration, especially in the field of design. I like to observe and draw people, and I enjoy drawing the tens of thousands of facial expressions and poses that people have, but in a new and more interesting way. I heard that there is an illustration club at my company, and I would definitely join it if I had the chance.
Being a character designer is not a purely drawing job, you have to think about product value and strategy as much as you think about how you draw the character and what expression you use. I think character design is more interesting than other design work because it is a design that allows people to feel emotional identification with the character.
In the future, I would like to learn a lot from my seniors and work hard on my own to develop and commercialize characters that convey hope and love to not only children but also adults. Seniors, please love me a lot and teach me a lot. I will grow into a talented person who will be loved by my seniors and contribute greatly to the growth of the company. I would like to end my introduction by saying thank you very much.

New Student Welcome Meeting (1 minute self-introduction by a business administration major)

hello. My name is ○○○, and I have just enrolled in the Department of Business Administration. I remember the day I first received my acceptance letter. I feel lucky to have been accepted to the school I really wanted to go to and the department I really wanted to study. I entered the school with trepidation because I am a timid person, but I was so happy to see my seniors and classmates at the orientation and entrance ceremony.
I want to become a brilliant marketing strategist who changes the destiny of companies. I know there are some people who think my dream is vain, but I definitely want to be an outstanding marketing strategist! I believe that the growth and success of a company depends on marketing, not product quality. No matter how good the product is, if the marketing strategy is not properly utilized, it is difficult to achieve great success in the market. Therefore, I believe that the seniors and classmates in the business administration department who study marketing will do great things in the future.
I’m a freshman who hasn’t started studying my major professionally yet, but I’m excited and enthusiastic about being a business administration student. I believe that marketing is a double-edged sword that can make or break a company, so I plan to build a solid foundation first. I need a lot of help from my classmates and seniors, and I will do my best to develop and revitalize our department. I want to be a student who loves management and is passionate about management, and I will be a steady effort with faith and determination towards that goal.
It’s funny that a freshman is already mentioning graduation, but I would like to stay at my alma mater after graduation. I will do my best to become a professor at my alma mater, to cultivate excellent students, and to become a person who contributes to society. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. I hope we will always have a good relationship, not only during our school days but also after graduation, thank you. This concludes my introduction.

New Employee Personal Statement (Civil Engineering Major)

My name is ○○○, and I’m a new employee of the company. To be honest with you, I’m only new in name, but I’m a second-hand new employee who has worked in other companies. However, since I joined the company as a new employee, I will start from scratch, and I hope that my seniors will teach me a lot and guide me. I’m older than the other coworkers, so I’m naturally called “big brother,” but now that I’ve officially joined ○○, I’d appreciate it if you treat me as a new employee regardless of my age.
To briefly introduce myself, I graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Tokyo. I have always been interested in building bridges and roads, so naturally I chose civil engineering. During my time at the university, I was able to solidify my skills by practicing the theories I learned in class, including surveying, at the Society. As with all things, I believe that hard work pays off in the field of construction, so I think that a strong sense of responsibility and mission, as well as honesty and sincerity, are required to perform the job. In particular, the construction of roads, which are used by a large number of people, requires an honest and sincere attitude from the builder. With a strong sense of responsibility and mission, I have been working at various construction sites or road construction and expansion sites and have been in charge of various tasks. Then, in the year ○○, I studied abroad in the United States and joined ○○ with the recommendation of my senior classmate.
My life credo is “No gain without no pains”. Believing that only those who strive can truly feel the joy of life, I strive to do my best in whatever I am given, no matter what. You can’t get back the time that’s gone by, so I try my best to be as mistake-free and regret-free as possible. Sometimes my friends tease me that I’m ‘a corpse without sincerity and stamina’, but I’m always proud of how hard I try. Seniors, physical fitness is also really important to succeed in your professional life, right? So I don’t hate the teasing.
People tend to get lazy about self-improvement when they have a stable social life. However, I believe that the longer you have been in the workforce and the higher your position, the more you should strive for self-development. If you become complacent and don’t strive, you can’t expect further development. You can’t expect a bright future for someone who doesn’t develop, so as time goes by, I will always strive to become a person who is indispensable to society and companies.
Seniors, I am honored to start my new life with great attention as a new employee, and I am so happy to join the company I really wanted to come to. I trust that you will give me generous guidance in the future, and I will work hard.

New employee’s success story

Hello, I’m ○○○, a new employee. It’s been almost three months since I joined the company, and I can’t believe how much I’ve changed from the time I attended the new employee appointment ceremony, when I was a little nervous after beating the high competition.
I don’t have experience in other workplaces so I can’t compare, but the people here are so warm. The managers are like little fathers, and the seniors, who are not too far apart in age, are like big brothers. They joke around with me and take my jokes in stride, so thank you! When I first walked into this room for my interview, I was very worried about whether I could really work here, but now I walked into the company worrying about what would happen if I made a mistake today, and I can greet my colleagues and seniors with a bright smile. I think that’s the most basic change in how I felt on my first day at work. Last night, when I was thinking about how to best express my feelings and aspirations for joining our company, the words hot and cold rolling came to mind. I want to work with the hot passion of hot rolling, like the process of pressing and stretching a hot slab of steel, and the resultant steadfastness and strength of mind, like the name cold rolling, and I want to be judged as a person who can handle work with delicate consideration and care, like the result of cold rolling. I will work with the strength of hot rolling and the delicacy of cold rolling, no matter what team I work with or who I work with.
I know what I need to do and how to do it in the position I’m in now, so there’s pressure and expectations. On the other hand, I’m also worried that if I don’t do a good job, the hard work that my seniors have done so far will go in the wrong direction. With these thoughts in mind, I am approaching my work with a new mind every day. Still, there are many new things that I am exposed to, and what I can do in a short time seems to take a long time. I will certainly try my best to do things differently today than yesterday, and tomorrow than today. I feel like I have too much to learn to say what I want to do in the future, but there are things I can say for sure. In order not to let down the faith and expectations of those who recruited me, I will always be a new employee who energizes the company with enthusiasm and a proactive attitude. I will repay the first job of my life with my best efforts, as they recruited me as an investment in the future in difficult times.

Self-introduction of a new member of the Kendo Club

hello. I am ○○○, a new member of the club. I am very happy to meet the seniors and fellow members of the Kendo Club, and I am excited that this will be an opportunity for me to make valuable connections and grow in kendo.
I was first introduced to kendo in middle school at a private gym, and while I started out thinking it was just a way to exercise, the feeling of gripping the bamboo sword and learning the basics and the exhilaration of focusing on the moment remains unforgettable. In high school, I took a break from kendo to focus on my studies, but when I came to college and wanted to take on a new challenge, I remembered my passion and knocked on the door of the kendo club again.
Kendo is more than just a sport to me, it’s a way of life, and the sense of accomplishment you get from discovering your weaknesses in a single practice or match, and then continuing to work on them, is perhaps the most appealing aspect of the sport. The things you learn through kendo are not just athletic skills, but also have the power to make you reflect and grow.
I also believe that the community of the Kendo Club is a great attraction in its own right, and the camaraderie that comes from practicing together, sweating, and supporting and guiding each other’s skills is one of the most valuable experiences you can get from being a part of the Kendo Club. I was drawn to this culture of camaraderie and collaboration as much as the sport itself, and I’m looking forward to learning and growing with you all.
I personally believe that kendo is a sport that has a unique appeal compared to other sports. It’s not only about the technical elements, but also about the philosophy of respect and courtesy for your opponent, and I think it’s really impressive that you grow as a person as much as you grow as a fighter. I think these lessons have a huge impact not only in the dojo, but also in your daily life, making you more respectful and mature.
In the future, I hope to train both my body and mind through kendo, learning a lot from the seniors and growing and having fun with the juniors. Although I still have many shortcomings, I will work hard to improve myself and develop into a member of the kendo club that I am not ashamed of. I will do my best with the attitude of learning from everyone.
I look forward to your support. Thank you.
