Presidential inauguration speech
Today, I, ○○○, am inaugurated as the first president of ○○○, Seoul. I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and deepest gratitude.
I have been a member of ○○○ for five years and have gained a lot of experience and learning. Compared to my seniors, who have been active since the beginning and have laid the foundation of the organization, I am sorry to take on this important position with less experience and many shortcomings. However, I promise to do my best with a sense of responsibility and mission with your trust and support.
When I was first introduced to ○○○ by an acquaintance, my motivation was simple curiosity: “Why don’t we give it a try?”, but as I continued to participate in the activities, I found myself learning more and gaining new realizations.
I was bored with the same old routine and found a new meaning to life here. Through volunteering and sharing, I’ve come to think about the value of life and appreciate every moment. I’m also learning how to coexist with others and share the joy of life.
There is only one reason I am standing here today. I want to share the values of gratitude and sharing that I learned at ○○○ with more people. Through our organization, I want to help more people share their warm hearts and experience the true value of volunteering.
The rewarding and touching moments we experience at the nursing homes, orphanages, and communities where we work are priceless. When we celebrate birthdays and serve food at a nursing home, it’s heartwarming to see the elderly express their gratitude with tears in their eyes. When I spend time laughing and playing with children at an orphanage, I see their bright smiles and realize the true meaning of happiness. These experiences have become more than just service, they have become the most precious part of my life.
Our organization has the power to make a big difference with small efforts. If we join hands together and reach out to more people, this society will become a little warmer. I am a small part of it, but I will do my best from my place.
In particular, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the ○○○ president and officers who have led ○○○ with dedication over the past year. Their efforts have made it possible for ○○○ to grow and develop further.
I would like to thank all of our guests for giving up their valuable time to be here today. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you for your hard work in preparing for this event.
If we all work together and move forward together, the future of ○○○ will be even brighter. I ask for your continued support, and I wish all of you good health, family happiness, and success in everything you do.
Thank you. We will continue to work hard this year and in the future.
Presidential Inaugural Address
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to join us. This is a moment of great honor for me personally, and it is also a moment to pledge a new leap forward for the KAB, and the warm encouragement and support of everyone here will be a great strength to open a bright future for the KAB.
The Broadcasters Association is celebrating its ○th year. In human terms, it’s a time when you’ve finished crawling and are free to roam around and learn and explore the world. Over the years, we’ve faced many challenges and grown to where we are today, and it’s only possible because of the support of our colleagues and seniors like you.
Yes, the Alliance has laid a strong foundation over the past ○ years through the dedication and hard work of my predecessors, and we must now reach for even greater heights. It is my task as your new President to build on that foundation and take the Alliance into a period of renaissance. Although it is a great weight on my shoulders, I will do my best, considering it another duty and honor as a senior journalist.
I feel both a sense of responsibility and great anticipation as I step into this position. The Broadcasters’ Association plans to continue its activities this year centered on three main tasks.
First, we will continue to promote and recharge our professionalism as broadcasters.
Broadcast journalists are rushed for airtime every day and often neglect to improve their skills, leaving little time for personal growth in the midst of repetitive fieldwork and deadlines. Training opportunities, both internal and external, are available to only a few, and there is a lack of a systematic refresher system. To change this, the Federation is planning to launch its long-awaited Journalism Academy in the first half of the year. The academy, which will consist of various programs, will be an important stepping stone for broadcast journalists to build their professionalism and competitiveness in the field. In addition, we will introduce a hybrid training model that combines online and offline training, enabling more journalists to be trained regardless of time and place.
The second is to nationalize and strengthen the organization of the Broadcasters’ Union.
Currently, the association has 12 broadcasters in the metropolitan area and more than 2,000 members. However, there is still a lack of participation from regional broadcasters, making it insufficient to represent the voices of all broadcasters. This year, we will actively implement the aforementioned journalism academies in the regions and activate exchanges with local broadcasters to foster a sense of solidarity and establish the Federation as a single organization for broadcasters nationwide. We will also plan and implement regionally tailored programs that reflect the unique media environment and needs of each region, which will lead to genuine integration rather than mere expansion of the Federation.
The third is adapting to the rapidly changing broadcasting environment with the emergence of generalized channels.
As you know, new long-form and news channels will start broadcasting as early as the second half of the year. It is expected that the large newspaper companies that have entered the broadcasting industry will use their long-established know-how to present highly specialized and innovative news. This is a time for existing broadcasters and journalists to be nervous about the challenges and adapt to the changes. Amidst these changes, the KFA will help journalists proactively respond to the rapidly changing media environment by providing information on new technologies and news production methods, and facilitating exchanges with industry experts.
No matter how the broadcasting environment changes, the principles and virtues of broadcast journalism, such as unbiasedness, fairness, and public service, will never waver. We will continue to work tirelessly to further develop the traditions of broadcast journalism that our seniors have upheld and to help younger journalists carry them forward. We will also help foster the creative and challenging spirit of journalists in the new era.
I would like to thank all of our guests for attending this event. Your encouragement and interest is the most important foundation for the growth and development of the Federation. We look forward to your continued support, and we hope to work together to create a better broadcasting environment.
Thank you.
Inaugural Address by the President
Today, I am truly grateful and humbled by your presence at our private ceremony.
It is only because of your guidance and support that I have been able to assume the position of President, and I am deeply honored.
I’m also worried that I’m not up to the task, and I wonder if I’ve taken on too much responsibility.
However, I will fulfill my responsibilities to the best of my abilities, and I sincerely ask for your guidance and support.
Standing in this position makes me look back on the past. I remember the enthusiasm of the early days of the company, the many challenges and trials we faced, and the achievements we overcame as if it were yesterday. I will never forget the hard work and dedication that our predecessors have put into building this company, and I look forward to carrying on their legacy and taking it to the next level.
I will have to work even harder, keeping in mind that this is the real beginning.
Looking at the history of ○○ Products, I don’t think we have ever faced such a turbulent time as today.
○○ Due to the massive liberalization of products, demand forecasting has become very difficult, but it is becoming more and more important. It is necessary to forecast and productize to meet the demand at an early stage. When demand surges and products become scarce, it’s too late. The alternative is to sit back and watch foreign products take over.
But looking ahead and making predictions also means taking risks. But if you look at it differently, it’s also a great opportunity.
Folks, it’s time for us to move to a new paradigm. The world is changing rapidly, and our competitors are now operating on a global stage, not just in Korea. What we need to survive these changes is innovation and collaboration. Innovation comes from new ideas and challenges, and collaboration provides a way to maximize the resources we have.
In these turbulent times, I, who have taken over the baton of management, intend to unite all the talents, personalities, and strengths of our ○○ employees and use them to move forward.
If we focus on defensive management in turbulent times, the path of development and prosperity laid down by our founder and opened by our current chairman may stagnate. In order to repay the efforts of our seniors, I believe it is time to go on the offensive.
I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our company’s vision. Our goal is not just to increase our market share. We want to be a company that provides real value to our customers and has a positive impact on society. To achieve this, we need our employees to constantly develop and challenge themselves. The company will do everything possible to help you grow on your own.
Therefore, we ask our employees to take bold challenges with the willingness and mindset that they are managers within their respective areas of responsibility.
We believe that our business partners will also respond to our management direction, and we ask you to push and pull for coexistence and co-prosperity more strongly than ever before.
With that, I would like to conclude my inaugural remarks by wishing you all the best in your work and family life.
Thank you.
○○Hospital President’s Inaugural Message
Good morning, everyone.
It is the middle of winter, when the cold wind still blows fiercely even in the middle of the day. Even though it’s February, the season doesn’t seem ready to warm up yet. The sun is shining brightly in the sky, but its warmth doesn’t seem to be easily transferred to the ground.
But this cold season will soon be over, and when the warm spring breeze blows in, it will seem like a distant memory. We get so used to what we have that we sometimes forget how precious it is. But if we can remind ourselves of the value of what we have, it will make our lives richer.
I hope today’s post reminds you of the value of what you have, even in the midst of your busy and challenging life. And I sincerely hope that you will never regret losing sight of it.
Today, I am taking over as President of ○○ Hospital, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for entrusting me with this important position. It is a great honor and a great responsibility for me to stand in this position.
○○ Hospital is a prestigious university hospital with a long history and tradition, and we are now at a crucial juncture of new leaps and changes. In the future, we will need to go beyond routine medical care, lead cutting-edge medical research, and provide more trusted quality medical services based on our specialized expertise. We will do our best to make our hospital a competitive hospital that is loved by patients.
Of course, there are many challenges ahead of us. The healthcare environment is expected to become even more complex, with the aftermath of the division of labor in medicine and difficulties in health insurance management, but we will work together to overcome these challenges and create a hospital culture of cooperation based on humanization and a sense of responsibility.
I will faithfully follow the hospital’s founding philosophy, activate various committees to listen to and reflect your valuable opinions, and create an environment where everyone can work comfortably so that we can be proud to say, “○○ is our hospital.
Lastly, I wish you and your families good health and happiness.
Thank you.
Inaugural speech by the Dean of Legal Affairs
Good morning, everyone.
As a lawyer who has been in and out of the Legal Affairs Division’s website every day since I started working as a lawyer, it is truly a great pleasure and honor to be here today at the ○○office to meet all of you, the best legal experts in Korea, in person.
I stand here today with a great sense of responsibility as the head of the Legal Affairs Division, which oversees Korea’s legal affairs. I am determined to put all my efforts and passion into the development of Korea’s legal system with all of you, based on the experience and capabilities I have accumulated over the years.
In recent years, Korea has undergone historic changes, and we are living through an era in which we all feel the spirit of the Constitution’s proclamation that “all power comes from the people.” The events and changes that have taken place since last year remind us of the fundamentals of Korea and our calling to build a “nation of nations” together with the people.
The expectations and demands that the people place on laws and institutions have become more stringent, and it is time for us, the legal system, to reflect on our role with a higher sense of responsibility and calling to meet the expectations of the people.
If the laws and systems in place are unfair or unreasonable, it is difficult to realize the ‘nation of nations’ that the people want. Without institutional overhaul, the principles of fairness and justice are just empty slogans.
I remember when I first started out as a lawyer, I stumbled upon a bar association regulation that provided different amounts of compensation for unmarried daughters and married daughters upon the death of a lawyer’s children. At the time, the civil law had already been amended to equalize the inheritance of married daughters, but the bar association regulation was still outdated. It was a small change, but I still remember the rewarding feeling of revising it.
Improving our laws and institutions is a mission for all of us, as even seemingly trivial regulations can have a real impact on people’s lives and rights. The recent case where the Legal Affairs Bureau discovered and corrected the problem of limiting employment opportunities for self-taught bachelor’s degree holders is also remembered as an exemplary case of practical help to the public. I think this is a great example of where we need to go from here.
The Legal Affairs Division has been at the forefront of protecting the rights and interests of the people and establishing the legal system for a fair society, based on its unparalleled expertise and experience. I ask you to continue to interpret laws and regulations from the perspective of the people, to boldly reform unreasonable or outdated systems, and to create a legal system that serves the country and its people. Based on your sensitivity to human rights and unjust discrimination, you must marshal all your capabilities to build a legal environment where all citizens can feel fair and equal.
I believe that creating an environment in which you can work with pride and enjoyment is the most important role of my office, and to that end, I will keep the lines of communication wide open and my eyes, ears, and heart open to hear your opinions and concerns at any time.
I hope that ours will be more than just a workplace relationship, but a partnership where we can trust and rely on each other. I sincerely hope that our relationship will be like a handkerchief that wipes away each other’s sweat and tears, as a poet once said.
I look forward to our journey together and hope that it will be the beginning of a new chapter in the Korean legal system, and once again, I express my deepest gratitude.
Thank you.
Inaugural Address by the Chief Justice
Dear colleagues, good morning.
My name is ○○○, and I am the new Chief Justice of the Republic of Korea.
I am very pleased to meet with you today, and I am deeply honored and overwhelmed by the enormous responsibility that I have been entrusted with. I succeed my esteemed predecessor, ○○○, and I will faithfully fulfill my responsibilities as I am entrusted with the crucial task of providing legal support for the government’s national affairs in the second half of the ○○○ administration.
I have been exposed to the work of the Legal Affairs Division through my roles in policy planning, legislation, and legal system development at the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Presidential Transition Committee, and the National Competitiveness Council. Throughout my career, I have come to realize that you are among the most professional legal practitioners in Korea, and I believe that if each of you continues to do your best in your respective roles, my role will be made easier.
My Message
Dear Legal staff,
I’d like to take this opportunity to make a couple of statements.
First, I would like to emphasize the importance of people in our organization.
The more professional an organization is, the more prone it is to individualism and egotism, especially when it becomes preoccupied with the formal logic of the law and loses sight of the big picture. This can lead to a lack of consideration for others and the pursuit of maximizing one’s own rights, even in human relationships.
Of course, the days of unconditional selflessness are long gone, but excessive individualism and egotism can undermine teamwork in organizations. If you create an externally strong organization based on stable teamwork, your personal status and evaluation will naturally rise.
Second, fulfill an external role based on the spirit of service.
As an institution that oversees, coordinates, and supports government legislation from each ministry, the Legal Affairs Office must think about “how to effectively put the ministry’s policies into law” from the ministry’s point of view. It is necessary to go beyond the formal and logical legal theory and explore alternative ways to realize the right policy together.
Of course, without compromising the rule of law and due process in practice.
Third, we must be people-centered.
All work, including reviewing laws and regulations, developing laws and regulations, interpreting laws and regulations, and providing information on laws and regulations, must prioritize the people. Laws that unduly restrict people’s rights or impose unreasonable obligations must be corrected. Unreasonable regulations that cause inconvenience to the public and businesses should be continuously overhauled, and laws and regulations that take into account the common people and the socially disadvantaged should be continued.
We must make laws and regulations easy and clear for the public to understand, so that the legal system can reach out to the people in a more practical manner.
Inaugural Remarks by the Head of the Legal Affairs Division
Greetings to all of you at the Legal Affairs Office.
The rainy season seems to be taking a breather, and I’d like to believe that it’s nature’s way of giving you and me a chance to meet.
It is a great honor for me to be here today to begin my new journey with you at the Office of the Attorney General. It is a privilege and an important position for me to be part of the team that oversees and coordinates the work of the Office of the Attorney General, and to be a part of the team that has shaped our national policy and the lives of our people through law. I stand here with a deep sense of the meaning and responsibility of the organization.
As experts in the field of legal affairs, you have worked tirelessly to ensure the integrity of the legal system and the legal stability of the Korean people. Your efforts have not been limited to mere administrative tasks, but have played a key role in guiding and coordinating the direction of our society, which is also preparing for the future of Korea.
In particular, the advancement of the legal system that you and your predecessor have achieved has left many achievements. The improvement of laws and regulations to alleviate public inconveniences, the successful hosting of the Asian Legal Forum, which strengthened international cooperation, were all made possible by your passion and dedication. These achievements paved the way for Korea’s legal system to become more than just a regulatory framework, but an internationally trusted legal system.
However, we cannot stop here; we have a responsibility to successfully fulfill new national tasks. To this end, we must systematically promote the government’s legislative plan, continuously overhaul laws and regulations that cause inconvenience to people’s lives, and continue our efforts to make laws easier to understand and upgrade information services.
In addition, in the era of local autonomy, support for local laws and regulations is more important than ever. If there is a lack of coordination between the central and local legal systems, the effectiveness of the law in people’s lives will inevitably be low. Strengthening cooperation with and support for local governments will be another pillar of legal system development.
As you all know, I have mainly practiced in the prosecutor’s office, and the legal system may be new and unfamiliar to me, but I believe that with you, the best professionals in this field, we can overcome any challenges. Legal work is not just about pursuing the formal perfection of the law, but also about actually changing people’s lives.
Modern society values not only the content of laws, but also the way they are delivered and communicated. Innovation of statutory information services for the digital age and improvement of legal terminology to make them more user-friendly are also issues we need to focus on in the future. For the public, easy-to-understand laws and regulations are a key factor in building trust in the law, not just improving services.
Today, we are facing fundamental changes in the environment surrounding the legal system. Advances in information technology are impacting the interpretation and application of the law. It is no longer possible to respond to the diverse needs of the public with a closed and fragmented mindset. Informatization of legislation using social media, digital platforms, and big data is now a necessity and will be an important means of increasing the transparency and accessibility of the legal system.
The Legal Affairs Office must lead the way in these changes: internally to maintain the integrity of the legal system, externally to communicate with the public, and proactively respond to the global legal environment, which requires creativity and flexibility beyond just doing the job.
I love and respect you, my fellow lawyers,
We have a lot of work to do and the challenges will continue, but I am confident that with your expertise and passion, we can accomplish any task. I will do my utmost to support you in your endeavors, and what we will achieve together will not just improve the agency, but will further strengthen the rule of law in Korea.
I wish you all good health and happiness, and let us always encourage each other on the journey ahead.
Thank you.
Inaugural Remarks by the President
Good morning, everyone.
Honorable residents of ○○.
Due to the cold waves caused by climate change and the foot-and-mouth disease epidemic, our ○○-myeon, which is home to many beef cattle farmers, is suffering from a deepening crisis. To the members of the Prosperity Association, especially the livestock farmers, let us all pull together and overcome the difficulties.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Vice Mayor ○○○ and the heads of social organizations at all levels for coming to Anyang in the uneven winter weather to grace this occasion. Your warm encouragement and support are making today’s event even more meaningful.
Our county has long been known as a hospitable and livable place with fertile fields, abundant agricultural products, and plentiful fish and shellfish. I know that these are not just local characteristics, but the fruits of the sweat and hard work of the residents over the years.
The recent conflicts that arose during the local election process have caused some disunity in my hometown, but I would like to take this opportunity to create a new turning point where we can bridge the gap, recognize our differences, and achieve harmonious development. In particular, the deep insight and consideration shown by my predecessor, Mr. ○○○, is an example for me to emulate. I will further develop the achievements of my predecessor and create a ○○-myeon where all residents can smile as one.
It is said that all crises come at once without warning. We, ○○-myeon, have been a village with abundant resources and good people, but we are facing great difficulties due to the foot-and-mouth disease and the cold wave. However, there is a saying that a crisis is an opportunity. I take it as a sign from the heavens to dedicate myself to the future of this town during this difficult time.
I pledge here, first and foremost, to recognize the pain and suffering of the residents and to do my best to resolve it. The livestock farmers who have been affected by foot-and-mouth disease are not alone, and I will work with the county government and related authorities to restore the damage and prepare support measures. I will also focus all my administrative capabilities to ensure that there is no interruption in the execution and appropriation of various budgets. I will take full responsibility to ensure that the residents do not suffer any further hardships.
In addition, I will devise and implement concrete measures to revitalize agriculture, livestock farming, and the local economy so that you can enjoy a happier and more stable life. In particular, I will strive to improve the distribution network of agricultural products and brand local specialties so that the name of our county can be known nationwide.
In closing, I would like to thank all of you for being here today. Today’s inauguration ceremony is not just the beginning of my personal journey, but a meaningful moment for all of us to join hands and pledge a new leap forward for ○○ Noodles.
As there are many people who will give congratulations and encouraging words, I would like to conclude my inaugural speech. I promise to do my best to repay the faith of the residents in the future. Please continue to watch over me and support me as always.
Thank you.
Inaugural Speech by the President of the Mountain Club
Hello, everyone.
Honorable members of the ○○Busan Club.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members for entrusting me with the honor of being the first president.
Although my shoulders are heavy, I promise to serve with joy and enthusiasm.
I will always keep in mind that the value of the ○○Busan Mountain Club is to deepen the love between couples through happy and enjoyable mountain hikes.
We want to make ○○Busan Mountain Club a new type of mountain club, not a common mountain club.
We will develop it into a mountain club where members are the owners, a healthy and dignified mountain club, a happy and enjoyable mountain club, and a novel mountain club for couples.
To our members
Only an organization where rules are followed and order is respected can survive for long.
I hope that you will faithfully fulfill the bylaws, mountain guidelines, and operating guidelines that we agreed and passed today, and always participate in cafe activities and mountain trips with a smile on your face.
If you help me and the officers, our precious relationship will grow even more beautifully.
And we’ll have a great mountain club to celebrate with all of you here today and at next year’s general meeting.
I’d also like to thank all of our officers, including our Vice Presidents, for their willingness to take on this important role.
We are all players in an orchestra with you as the audience.
Let’s work together in perfect teamwork to create a wonderful chord so that we can all share in the joy.
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to my advisors for their constant support and encouragement.
We hope that you will continue to share your love and criticism with us.
Finally, I would like to conclude my inaugural speech by expressing my sincere gratitude to all those who are unable to be here today but who love the ○○Busan Orchestra.
Thank you very much.
Inaugural speech by the president of the club
Hello, everyone.
Greetings, honored members of the ○○ Club.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your presence here today. In particular, I would like to express my gratitude and welcome to all the guests and club members who have joined us for the ○○’s ○○th anniversary celebration and the inauguration of the ○○th president.
In the vibrant month of May, when everything is growing, we are united under the philosophy of serving. Based on the spirit of We Serve, I promise to fulfill my responsibilities as the new president and realize the values of service and unity.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all of our past presidents and executive board members, whose dedication and hard work have made the organization the strong foundation it is today. I look forward to continuing in your footsteps and working to grow the organization.
The biggest lesson I have learned from my service is that small actions make a big difference, and I will use this lesson to further fulfill the mission of the club in my future activities. This year, I will put “mutual respect and practical service” at the center of my activities, and I will move forward with service that is not just visible, but that provides real needs and help.
As we celebrate our ○○th anniversary, we, the ○○Service Club, want to build a stronger bond based on friendship and trust among our members. We will respect each other and work as a team, utilizing our individual strengths. Let’s combine the talents and passions of each member to create a club that can reach more people.
In particular, I want to lead the year with three goals in mind
Strengthening solidarity with the community: We will collaborate with various organizations in the community to design programs that provide practical help.
Enhance communication among members: I will further promote understanding and friendship among members through various communication channels and regular activity reports.
New challenges and innovations: We will expand the impact of our clubs by exploring new ways and areas of service beyond our existing activities.
We believe that service is more than just sharing; it is about filling the gaps with generosity, stopping the overflow with sacrifice, and sharing love through action. With this in mind, we will grow into the best service club in the world.
To realize this vision, I recognize that I can’t do it all alone. Fortunately, the passion and dedication of the incoming executive team, who have chosen to believe in me and walk with me, gives me the confidence to move forward.
On this momentous occasion, I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my deepest gratitude to the outgoing President and the Executive for their hard work over the past year under the slogan “Engaged Minds, Voluntary Service”. We will build on that foundation of dedication and achieve new heights.
In closing, I hope today’s event is meaningful to all of you. I sincerely look forward to working with you to create a “truly good world” where we can share hope and live together with our neighbors in need.
Thank you very much.
Inaugural speech at the inauguration ceremony of the Donghoe Crematorium
Dear ○○Mountain Club members,
I am very pleased to meet you.
We, the members of ○○Mountain Club, gathered together with the love of the mountains, are not just a gathering, but a beautiful community that shares the scent of the same hometown and the affection of the same family. I would like to express my deep respect and gratitude to the first president for his efforts in establishing such a great mountain club and laying the foundation. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my predecessors for their hard work and passion in building the ○○Mountain Club to the foundation it is today.
Although I have many shortcomings, I stand here with a heart of service to repay your trust and call.
Honored Members,
Climbing mountains is more than just a recreational activity; it is an act of exploring our instinctive sense of challenge and the value of life. Although the culture of mountaineering is said to have begun around 200 years ago, mountains had military significance even before that, as strategic points of landmarks. Napoleon’s words, “Nothing is impossible in my dictionary,” as he crossed the Alps, capture the sense of challenge and achievement that mountains offer.
Being close to the mountains is not just about enjoying nature, it’s about embracing the energy of a living universe. It’s where the three sources of life-earth, water, and air-are clean and fresh. Mountains energize us, revitalize us, and inspire new life.
Now this mountain spirit belongs to you, the members of the ○○Mountain Club, and the lessons it teaches are ours to learn.
The mountain looks at us without words, sometimes solemnly, sometimes generously, reminding us of the meaning of life. By climbing mountains, we learn to be cooperative, patient, sacrificial, bold, and calm. I hope we can continue this spirit and create a tradition of honoring our seniors and caring for our juniors.
I promise to do my best for the development of the ○○Mountain Club in the future. I will present new ideas and listen to the various opinions of the members to create a club that grows together.
In closing, I would like to ask for your continued support and cooperation, and I wish you and your families good health and happiness.
Thank you.
Example inauguration speech for a club president
Hello, everyone.
It is autumn, the season of abundance, when the mountains and trees are changing color and deepening into autumn leaves. At this beautiful time of year, I am deeply honored and grateful to have been asked by all of you to serve as the president of the ○○Mountain Club.
I would like to bow my head in sincere gratitude to all the members who have led the ○○Mountain Club with their unwavering love and support to get us to where we are today. I would also like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to the guests and elders who have always been a strong pillar of support for the organization and the local community.
Honorable ○○Mountain Club members!
In order for our mountain club to achieve greater development, everyone must work together as one and lead by example. As president, I will always take the lead to live up to your trust and actively support your healthy mountain hikes and volunteer activities.
When we climb mountains, we find health in nature and enjoy each other’s company. Based on this, we would like to further serve the community and contribute to creating a bright and healthy community. We will do our best to raise the status of ○○Mountain Club through meaningful activities that combine mountain climbing and volunteering.
Lastly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who made this event possible. I would also like to thank our guests and members for taking the time out of their busy schedules to join us, and I wish you all the best in your families.
Thank you.
Inaugural Address by the Alumni President
Good evening, everyone.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our distinguished guests, members, and alumni for taking time out of their busy schedules to be here today.
I still remember the day I first walked through the school gates in my uniform, filled with excitement. The joy we felt at our new uniforms, the long sigh we let out when we saw the stones piled up in one corner, and the pride we felt at seeing our neat lockers and our alma mater building. Our high school years were only three short years, but they remain unforgettable and cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Now, as the years have passed, our alma mater has grown bigger and bigger, and the Class of ○○ has grown stronger and stronger, and we are building the foundation of our alumni association together. Although some alumni may not be able to join us right now due to their own lives, I believe that all ○○ alumni of ○○ High School are united in their love for their alma mater.
It took me a short time to decide to take on the role of president, but many alumni gave me encouragement and support along the way, and I believe that it is thanks to all of you who have shown interest and love for your alma mater, even from afar, that I am standing here today. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude.
Over the past few years, the Alumni Association has made great efforts to build stronger ties among alumni while striving for the development of our alma mater. These efforts have made the Alumni Association what it is today, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your support.
Now, at this new beginning of the ○th Alumni Association, I am committed to laying one more solid brick on top of the foundation that has been laid, and I will do my best to ensure that our alma mater and alumni association remain a proud community that is the envy and admiration of its neighbors.
Over the course of my term, I hope to accomplish the following goals
To strengthen the network of alumni, I will identify clubs and societies and organize new healthy gatherings to deepen the bonds between us.
We will revitalize athletic competitions to bring alumni together to reminisce about the good times they had at their alma mater.
I will work to update and enhance the alumni directory, an important asset of the Alumni Association, so that it can be used as a useful tool to facilitate communication among alumni.
The position of president is both an honor and a great responsibility. I take this position very seriously and recognize that we cannot make any progress without the support of our alumni. I look forward to your continued support, cooperation, and generous advice and encouragement.
Thank you.
Inaugural Address by the Alumni President
Good morning, everyone.
Dear members of the 24th class of ○○School!
It is with great pleasure that I see so many familiar faces at this meaningful occasion in December, the last month of the year.
This year, I believe that President ○○○’s outstanding leadership, dedicated spirit of service, and deep affection for his fellow alumni, combined with the tradition of unity and harmony established by our past presidents, have made this year even more remarkable.
In particular, I believe that this was only possible thanks to the cooperation of our Secretary, Mr. ○○○, who took over the management of the alumni association for the first time this year, and all the alumni who have shown their trust and full support for our alumni association. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Another year is coming to an end, and the age of our lives is increasing one by one.
We can’t stop the passing years, so let’s go with the flow of the world, cherish our own friendships, the friendships of our friends, and the health and happiness of our families, and move forward vigorously in the new year.
It is a great honor for me to succeed President ○○○ as the president of the Alumni Association, but at the same time, I am filled with great responsibility and anxiety, but I am confident.
If we continue to build on the solid organizational strength that our alumni association has built so far, and the warm love and friendship that you have shown us, we will have an even brighter future next year.
I would like to ask for your unwavering love and support for the Alumni Association so that all alumni can be together. With that love and trust as the foundation, we will continue to strive and serve to the best of our ability for the unity and development of our alumni association next year.
We will strive to create a “truthful and fair, goodwill and friendship, and beneficial to all” Alumni Association.
Finally, I would like to wish all of you good health, happiness at home, and a warm holiday season.
Thank you.
Inaugural Speech of the President of the Korean Parents of Persons with Disabilities
Hello, my name is ○○○, President of the Korean Parents of Persons with Disabilities. First of all, I would like to thank all the guests who have come to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Disabled Family Support Center and the inauguration of ○○○ as President of the Korean Parents of Persons with Disabilities. I would like to express my sincere respect and gratitude to all of you for taking the time to honor me.
It has been five years since the ○○ Disability Family Support Center opened its doors, and today we are here to celebrate with you the fifth anniversary of the center. Over the past five years, the center has played a variety of roles for families with disabilities, and the sweat and hard work of many people have gone into it. In particular, I think the center has served as a beacon for the unfamiliar concept of family support to take hold in our society.
The topic of family support for people with disabilities is no longer a novelty, and the recent passage of the Disability Family Support Ordinance in Parliament provides the basis for the establishment of family support centers, but practical support measures are still very scarce. We need to work together to fill this gap from now on. What our families with disabilities need is not just a sympathetic approach, but a real and sustainable policy and support system.
I am not here to talk about the difficulties of families with disabilities, but to say that it is ○○ that is spreading and leading the support for families with disabilities nationwide, and we, the ○○ Parents with Disabilities, will continue to be at the forefront. I promise to work together and communicate with everyone here, and to work tirelessly to change the lives of families with disabilities for the better.
It’s been a little over a month since I took office as President of the ○○ Parents with Disabilities, and I’ve had a lot of time to think and consider. What can I do to make our disabled parents happy and fulfilled? How can I build on the accomplishments of the previous chairman during his term? At the same time, I felt a clear sense of mission, which became more concrete as I prepared for today’s event.
One of the things I found was supporting families with disabilities, which is not just a personal belief of mine, but something that our Parents Organization has consistently pursued over the years. When families are happy, the lives of people with disabilities can be fully respected. This is because a happy family is the most basic unit that promotes individual dignity and social inclusion.
Until now, welfare services have been targeted at people with disabilities, but in the future, welfare policies for people with disabilities will need to be expanded to include not only people with disabilities, but also their families. A complete system of welfare for people with disabilities will only be complete when families with disabilities feel secure and have a high quality of life.
In addition, we will strive to enact family support ordinances in 31 municipalities in our region, so that family support centers can be established in each municipality and family support policies as a right that both people with disabilities and their families can enjoy will be better than they are now. To this end, we will work more actively to establish close cooperation and consensus with local communities. We plan to develop family support programs tailored to each region and build a support system that meets the characteristics and needs of each region.
I would like to ask everyone to remember that this is not just a change over time, but a change that will only be possible through our collective attention, support, and policy innovation. In particular, there is an urgent need to elevate the plight of families with disabilities to a place of social empathy.
We parents of people with disabilities shed many tears. Sometimes they are tears of joy, but most often they are tears of anguish. However, I believe that each and every one of you here today can help turn those tears of sadness and worry into tears of joy, and the small efforts and attention of each and every one of you will bring great hope to families with disabilities.
Finally, I would like to thank all of our guests for being here today, and I wish everyone in this room a happy and healthy life for all people with disabilities and their families.
We love you, everyone. Thank you.
Inaugural remarks by the President of the Mothers’ Association
Good morning, everyone!
It’s a moist, rainy day in July, and it’s time for nostalgia.
When I was a student, the sight of raindrops used to make me feel sentimental, but as I got married, had children, and became immersed in my busy life, I naturally forgot about that.
When it rained, I’d just say, “It’s coming,” and when it snowed, I’d say, “It’s coming.”
But today, as I looked out the window at the rain, I was suddenly overcome with emotion.
The showers brought back memories of heartbreak in my first love, sharing an umbrella with someone to get out of the rain, and other moments that I remembered so vividly, but had long since passed.
I think the reason I was able to feel emotional again was because I joined the Color Mothers’ Association and started telling stories.
For me, the Sackdong Mothers’ Association was a great gift that opened up a second life.
And today, I am honored to take on the important role of president of such a grateful group, and I gladly accept the responsibility.
I am deeply grateful to be the 17th President of the Association, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our members for their support and encouragement.
I would also like to express my respect and gratitude to all the past presidents and seniors who have led the organization for the past 33 years, and who have realized the true value of storytelling.
Inheriting their dedication and hard work, I will do my best to further develop the organization and live up to their expectations.
Founded in 1978, our Sackdong Mothers’ Association was incorporated in 2002 and has become a representative organization of the Dongdong community in Korea.
We are fulfilling our roles as educators of children, and outside of the organization, we are spreading our hands of service to the society based on the spirit of ‘love children, love country’.
At this crucial juncture, I would like to share a few principles to further solidify the role and status of the organization.
First, strengthen the role of PTAs in the development of assimilation.
The current policy emphasis on English and numeracy is reducing opportunities for creativity, expression, and imagination.
To address this, we will explore ways to make storytelling a regular subject, and work with related organizations to present a new paradigm.
Secondly, we will improve the quality of storytellers and raise their self-esteem.
We will strengthen seminars and training programs to enhance our members’ capabilities and provide future-oriented information.
We will take the lead in promoting the rights of our members and strengthening their professionalism.
Dear Members
I ask for your continued support and love for the development of the organization and each member.
I will walk this journey with all of you, and we will continue to move steadily toward our goals.
Thank you.
Inaugural speech by the President of Saemaul Women’s Association
Hello, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the members and guests who have attended my inauguration ceremony. I am ○○○, the newly elected president. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for giving me the undeserved honor of being the president of the Saemaul Women’s Association.
The Saemaul Women’s Association is an important organization that has long been dedicated to the development of local communities and the welfare of residents. However, for various reasons, there have been internal divisions and confusion, which have prevented the organization from fulfilling its role. I deeply reflect on this situation as a member of the Women’s Association, and I pledge to do my best to make our organization better in the future.
At this moment, the community needs new hope and a wind of change. The sororities we lead are not just a place for women to socialize and fellowship, but must play an important role in the development of our communities. The Saemaul Movement spirit of hard work, self-help, and cooperation is not just a legacy of the past, but is still valid and should be practiced today, especially the values of self-help and cooperation.
In the past, our ancestors shared and overcame difficulties together to develop their communities through the tradition of duree and pumat. The spirit of the Saemaul movement that we have inherited today is an extension of that tradition. Now is the time for us to help and support each other, and even more so, to act as a light to illuminate the shadowy areas of our communities.
To this end, this year I would like to propose the goal of “Local Sunshine” as the slogan of the Women’s Federation. Sunlight nurtures all life, dispels darkness, and delivers hope. We must not only be the sunshine of our homes, but the sunshine of our communities. Our warmth and hard work will energize and comfort the local residents, which in turn will be more rewarding for all of us.
Specifically, this year, we will focus on the following activities: first, we will strengthen our efforts to help the underprivileged: we will identify and support those who are struggling financially and emotionally, and try to instill a little hope in their lives; second, we will promote projects to improve the local environment: we will organize various environmental cleanup activities and campaigns to make our area a cleaner and better place to live; and third, we will strengthen community ties by promoting festivals and cultural events for local residents to participate in together.
I am confident that thanks to your passion and dedication, many changes will be made. Many elderly people will gain a new lease of life, hungry children will find smiles on their faces, and neglected and forgotten things will be given new life. Of course, this process will require a lot of hard work and perseverance, but please remember that our small efforts can add up to make a big difference in our communities.
If the seeds of hope we plant today grow into beautiful trees and blossom throughout our neighborhoods, our lives will be brighter and warmer. Each and every one of you is an agent of change and a driving force for community development. My dear fellow members, let’s dream big and move forward together. Let’s use our passion and strength to create a better tomorrow.
I promise that I will continue to work with you to constantly think and strive for the happiness of local residents and the development of the region. As all of our activities are made possible by your support and participation, I ask for your continued interest and support.
Hopefully, this year will be our new starting point and rekindle the spirit of the Saemaul movement of hard work, self-help, and cooperation. At the same time, I pray that the seeds of love and hope that we planted together will lead to the fruits of tomorrow.
This concludes my inaugural address. Thank you for listening to this speech.
Inaugural speech by Sanga Prosperity Chairman
Honorable Mayor ○○, ○○ City Councilor ○○,
Mr. ○○ Bank ○○○ Branch, Mr. ○○ University ○○○,
And I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the distinguished guests who have joined us today.
Honorable members,
Our organization was founded with the purpose of promoting friendship among members, community development, and public service, and has developed steadily to where it is today, thanks to the dedication and hard work of each and every one of our members.
Since its inception, our organization has been run with the enthusiasm of our members who have participated voluntarily and with a pure heart, and I have also endeavored to promote community development and public interest. Today, as I am honored to be inaugurated as your new president, I would like to pledge my commitment to you.
First, I will make our area a vibrant university cultural center.
Korea’s future depends on its growing children, its students. Creating conditions where university students can focus on their studies and goals in a bright and healthy environment is the cornerstone of our society’s development. I will do my best to establish the ○○ area as a bright and lively university cultural district.
Second, I will strive for the growth and revitalization of the Sangga Prosperity Association.
The current prosperity council was only possible thanks to the valuable efforts of past presidents and members. Based on this, I will strive to encourage more people to join and actively participate in the prosperity council. Furthermore, I will expand the size of the executive team to strengthen the organization’s capacity and make it more systematic and effective.
Third, I would like to ask for the participation and cooperation of all members.
The development of an organization can never be achieved by one person’s efforts alone, and the enthusiastic participation and cooperation of each and every member is paramount. Let’s work together to achieve the prosperity of our organization and the development of our community.
In particular, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and admiration to Chairman ○○ for his great dedication to the prosperity of the association. Thanks to the solid foundation he has laid, I am able to start this new journey with a more relaxed mind.
Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the distinguished guests and dignitaries who have taken time out of their busy schedules to join us. I wish you all the very best in your future endeavors.
Thank you.
Season’s Greetings from the President
Good morning, everyone.
There is news that two typhoons are heading south of Korea. Fortunately, they say that they will miss Korea, but I’m sure you are all very tired from the long rainy season and the damage caused by one typhoon after another.
It’s been three weeks since we’ve had to take a break from hiking in the mountains due to the unrelenting August weather. If you add another typhoon to the mix, even the most patient among us will feel the limit, and I’ve been feeling the frustration of not being able to go hiking lately.
The hot summer is coming to an end, and I hope you’re able to survive it and face the coming fall healthy and energized. Today, instead of hiking, we will have a dinner to socialize and hold an inauguration ceremony.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members for entrusting me with the important role of president of the ○○Mountain Club. On the one hand, my shoulders are weighed down by the enormous responsibility, but I promise that I will serve with pleasure and sincerity. In particular, I will fulfill my duties as president for the second half of 2012 with the founding purpose of the ○○Mountain Club deeply in mind.
As you know, the ○○ Mountain Association is the most prestigious mountain association in ○○, having produced ○○ members of the ○○ National Assembly, ○○ Metropolitan Assembly, and ○○ City Council. Each of our members is a respected leader in their respective fields, and we will do our best to build on that reputation.
Along with this, I would like to make a few requests and promises to our members.
First, I ask for your active cooperation in recruiting new members. We ask you to recommend people you know who love mountains and have a sound mindset, and to join the “membership multiplier movement” where each member recommends one new member.
Second, next year, we would like to establish a volunteer program that can contribute to the development of the local community. As a prestigious local mountaineering club, we will explore and implement ways to fulfill our social responsibilities.
Third, we would like to expand our mountaineering activities into family-type programs where everyone in the family can participate. We would like to ask for your cooperation and opinions so that we can become a family-oriented and warm mountain club.
Lastly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to former President ○○○ and the executive committee for their hard work during the half-year. I would also like to wish you and your families good health, happiness, joy, and good fortune. I also ask for the generous guidance of my seniors and promise to do my best to fulfill my duties.
Thank you.
Season’s Greetings from the Mountain Club President
Hello, dear members!
It’s already February 20__, and I can’t believe how fast time flies. The older I get, the faster it seems to go, which keeps me busy and anxious at the same time. It seems like just yesterday we were making New Year’s resolutions, and here we are a month later looking back at the first month of the year.
January was a busy month, and while I made plans and tried to put them into action in the first week, there were times when my plans got lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I’d like to take a moment to reflect and start over today.
First, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the members for entrusting me with the important position of President of the ○○Mountain Club. This responsibility weighs heavily on my shoulders, but I promise that I will do my best and serve with pleasure. I will always keep in mind the purpose and spirit of the organization and strive to meet your expectations.
○○Mountain Club is a prestigious mountain club representing our region. As each member is a respected leader in their respective positions, I would like to make this a year that further develops this reputation. To this end, I would like to share with you some of my commitments and plans.
1. Recruit new members.
Each and every one of you is what makes the club grow. We’re asking you to help us recruit new members, one at a time, by referring people you know who love mountains and have sound values. The more people we connect with, the more meaningful and valuable our mountain club will become.
2. Promote community volunteer programs
This year, we plan to organize volunteer activities that will contribute to the development of the local community. As a prestigious mountaineering organization, we want to grow together with the local community and share the sense of family and solidarity that mountaineering brings with more people. We look forward to your active participation and ideas.
3. Establish a family-centered hiking culture
We will endeavor to run a family-oriented mountain club so that mountain climbing can be enjoyed not only by our members, but also by their families. We ask for your interest and cooperation to create more warm memories while climbing mountains with your family.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the previous president for his efforts in the past year. We look forward to your continued advice and encouragement, and we wish you and your families the best of health and happiness.
I will continue to do my best for our organization and make it a year that everyone is satisfied with. I ask for your guidance and support, and I hope that all your mountain trips in 20__ will be safe and enjoyable.
Yours sincerely.
